Steam does not document a native remove-all command for wishlists. The supported process is to remove entries one at a time from the wishlist page, or to open an individual store page and use the menu beside On Wishlist. For a large list, you can work through the rows quickly, but any browser extension or console script that automates removal is unofficial and can stop working when Steam changes its interface. The steps below show the safe, supported route, explain what to do with delisted games, and set out the risks of faster workarounds.
What “bulk removal” means on Steam
There are two different requests hidden in questions such as “Can I delete all games from my Steam wishlist at once?” You may mean removing a handful of unwanted products efficiently, or you may want a single command that clears the entire list. Steam’s documented wishlist controls address the first need only: each product has its own Remove action. Steam Support’s wishlist FAQ, accessed on October 16, 2026, does not document a select-all, remove-all, or bulk-delete control.

That means the dependable answer is a repeated per-item workflow. It works in a web browser and in the Steam client, although wording and placement can vary slightly between layouts. If the control beside an item is missing or the product no longer has a usable listing, the game’s store page provides a second supported route. If both routes fail, Steam Support is the appropriate escalation path.

1. Open your wishlist
- Sign in to the Steam account that owns the wishlist.
- Open the Wishlist section in the Steam website or Steam client.
- Wait for the list to finish loading before starting. Removing an entry changes the page, so a stable connection helps prevent you from working from stale rows.
Use the account’s normal Steam session. Do not paste your password, session cookie, or login code into a third-party tool while trying to speed up this task.

2. Remove an item from its wishlist row
- Find a game you no longer want.
- In that item’s row, locate the Remove link beside the date the item was added.
- Select Remove. The entry should disappear from the wishlist.
- Continue with the next unwanted item.
The date-adjacent link is the method described by Steam Support. It is not a separate delete mode: each click applies to the individual product next to it. If the page shifts after a deletion, identify the next title by its name rather than relying on the previous row position.
3. Use the store page when the row control is unavailable
Some entries are difficult to act on from the list, especially when the layout has changed or a row does not expose the expected link. Open that game’s Steam store page, then:
- Locate the button showing On Wishlist.
- Open the arrow beside the button.
- Choose Remove from wishlist.
- Return to the wishlist and confirm that the product is no longer listed.
This is a removal action, not a purchase or a follow operation. Check the title and account before confirming so that you do not remove a product you meant to keep.
4. Refresh and continue
- Refresh the wishlist after a batch of removals, or after the page appears out of sync.
- Check that the entries you processed have disappeared.
- Repeat the row or store-page method for the remaining titles.
Refreshing is useful when a deleted row remains visible because of a cached page, but it does not create a bulk action. It simply lets Steam display the current list again.

Why a single remove-all button is not part of the documented workflow
A Steam Community discussion titled delete all games from wishlist, posted June 29, 2019, reports that the wishlist had never offered a remove-all button and describes clicking Remove for each game. That is a user report rather than a Valve product announcement, but it matches the per-item process in Steam Support’s current instructions. No authoritative source in the available documentation establishes a native bulk-delete control.
Steam can change its interface, so an old discussion cannot prove what every future client build will do. The practical rule is to look for a documented multi-select or remove-all control in your current wishlist. If it is not present, do not treat an unlabeled browser trick as an official feature.
What to do with games that no longer have a normal store page
A wishlist can contain a product whose listing is delisted, region-restricted, or otherwise difficult to open. Start with the wishlist row: if Remove appears beside the added date, use it even when the title’s store link is unhelpful. The row method avoids depending on the product page being available.

If the row has no usable removal link, try opening the title from the wishlist and use the arrow beside On Wishlist on the store page, as described above. When neither interface exposes a removal command, record the exact title and account state, then use Steam Support’s help flow. Explain that the product remains in the wishlist and that both documented controls were unavailable. Support can determine whether the entry is tied to a delisted product, a regional restriction, or a temporary account or page problem.

A failed store-page load is not evidence that the item has been removed. Verify by refreshing the wishlist or checking again after signing in through the other official interface.
Native removal compared with unofficial automation
Community users have described browser extensions, including Enhanced Steam and Augmented Steam, and browser-console scripts that send removal requests. These are not Steam features, and the available evidence does not establish that they are compatible with the current Steam interface or safe for every account. If you choose to investigate one, read its source, verify exactly which requests it makes, and avoid any tool that asks for your Steam password, an API key, a session token, or a downloaded executable merely to delete wishlist entries.

- Decide your rule first. For example, remove games you no longer intend to play, but leave unreleased titles you still want to track. A clear rule prevents accidental cleanup of items you meant to retain.
- Work in small batches. Process a manageable group, then refresh. This makes it easier to notice a mistaken removal and avoids losing your place if the page reloads.
- Read the title before each click. Do not click based only on row position; the list can reflow after an item disappears.
- Use the store page only for exceptions. The row link is faster for ordinary entries. Open a store page when the row action is missing or unclear.
- Keep a short note for unusual entries. Record titles that are delisted or inaccessible so you can give Steam Support precise information instead of repeatedly guessing.
- Verify the final state. Refresh the wishlist and search visually for the titles you intended to remove.
This process still requires one action per product, but it avoids the account and compatibility uncertainty of code that operates on your behalf.

Valve’s Steam Discovery documentation describes Ignore as a way to exclude a product from future recommendations and featured spots. Ignore changes discovery behavior; it should not be presented as a wishlist deletion command.
If your goal is to stop seeing a game in recommendations while keeping it on your wishlist, Ignore may address that narrower problem. If your goal is a shorter wishlist, use Remove beside the added date or Remove from wishlist in the store-page menu. Check which control you selected before leaving the page.

The Remove link is hard to find
Look specifically beside the item’s added date. On a narrow browser window or a different client layout, the link may be less prominent than the title and price. Widen the window, scroll across the row, or open the product page and use the arrow beside On Wishlist.
The row disappears, then comes back
Refresh the wishlist and confirm that you are signed in to the intended account. A stale page can show an old row after a successful action, while an account mismatch can make you think a removal failed. If the item returns after a confirmed refresh, stop repeating the click and contact Steam Support.
The store page will not load
Return to the wishlist and try the row-level Remove link. If that control is also unavailable, save the title and explain the problem through Steam Support’s help flow. Avoid installing an unverified script simply because a product page is unavailable.
A script or extension reports success but the list is unchanged
Stop running it. Third-party automation can depend on outdated page elements or fail silently. Sign out of the extension if appropriate, remove permissions you do not need, and verify the wishlist through Steam’s own interface. Continue with the documented controls or ask Steam Support for help.
You removed the wrong game
Steam’s documented workflow is a removal action, not a bulk archive with a universal undo button. Search for the title again and add it back to the wishlist if the product page and account region allow it. If the title is unavailable, tell Steam Support exactly what happened and when.
When to contact Steam Support
Use Steam Support after the official controls fail, not as a substitute for an available Remove link. Include:
- The affected game’s exact name and store-page address if you can open one.
- Whether the wishlist row showed a Remove link.
- Whether the arrow beside On Wishlist offered Remove from wishlist.
- What happened after you clicked, including whether a refresh restored the entry.
- Your Steam client or browser context and the approximate time of the attempt.
Do not send your password, authentication codes, or session cookies in a support request. Steam Support’s contact and help pages are the escalation route identified in the current support guidance.
