Which method should you choose?

If you use a microwave to warm the center, finishing with a brief spell of dry heat may help restore surface texture. That is a practical suggestion, not a tested Costco-churro method. Take care with any filling, which may be hotter than the outside.
Do not confuse food-court leftovers with frozen retail churros
Hola! Churros Double Twisted Cinnamon Sugar Pastry Snack is a separate frozen retail product. Its label says to air fry from frozen for 6–8 minutes at 400°F, or until the desired crispness is reached. When to discard leftovers
For churros with perishable toppings or fillings, USDA Food Safety and Inspection Service guidance says not to leave food at room temperature for longer than two hours, or one hour when the temperature is above 90°F.
