Save a clear, unedited clip, send it to MADFINGER Support, and choose a mode based on the encounters you want—not on an assumption that one mode has stronger anti-cheat protection.
What to do after a suspected cheating encounter
- Separate what you saw from what you suspect. A fast or unexpected death by itself may not establish cheating. Note the behavior that seemed impossible or suspicious, and avoid publicly accusing or identifying someone based on an ambiguous incident.
- Save a clip with enough context. Keep the original video and include the relevant lead-up and aftermath where possible, so the behavior can be understood. Avoid edits that hide context; if you add narration or slow motion, retain the original recording too.
- Send the video to MADFINGER Support. The studio’s reporting instructions say to contact its Support team and include video evidence. The article does not specify an in-game report button or a response-time commitment.
- Use an Unlisted YouTube link for a large file. If the video exceeds 50 MB, MADFINGER Community Care’s October 1, 2025 instructions say to upload it to YouTube as an “Unlisted” video and include the link with the report.
- Keep the report concise and factual. Include the player identifier and approximate match or time context if you know them, then describe what the clip shows. Those details are useful context, but MADFINGER’s support article does not list them as required fields.
What MADFINGER has said about anti-cheat
In its May 16, 2025 anti-cheat statement, MADFINGER said it integrated Denuvo code obfuscation with the Winds of War update (0.3.0.0) to make the game’s code harder for cheat engines to read and to prevent cheats such as ESP and aimbots. The studio said this was not Denuvo DRM and did not add new kernel-level anti-cheat. It also said it was withholding further technical details so cheat developers could not readily adapt.

A later March 18, 2026 devlog said Update 0.4 would improve wallhack detection and banning, with further improvements planned. That is a statement of development plans, not evidence of a measured decline in cheating or a guarantee about any particular report.

Cheating, exploits, and what is known
MADFINGER’s September 18, 2026 security announcement described an item-duplication exploit associated with particular helicopter-death circumstances in Update 0.4. The studio said a hotfix made the exploit no longer replicable, and that its investigation identified close to 40 deliberate exploiters, with temporary suspensions and account wipes planned. This was one specific exploit investigation; the figure is not a count of all cheaters, all bans, or the game’s overall cheating rate.

Can you avoid PvP in Gray Zone Warfare?
The Update 0.5 announcement describes PvE and PvEvP character modes. PvE is the option to consider if you want to avoid player-versus-player encounters; this is an exposure choice, not a claim that PvE has stronger anti-cheat or eliminates every form of misconduct. The announcement says players choose a mode when transferring existing character progression and that this choice is irreversible. Check the current client and latest official announcement before transferring, since mode rules can change.
