Bandai Namco has announced the game for iOS and Android, but its final settings, download size, device requirements, and measured battery or data consumption have not been published. Treat every control described as conditional until it appears in the released app.
What is confirmed about Gundam Blitz Order
Bandai Namco announced Gundam Blitz Order on 15 October 2026 for the App Store and Google Play. It is described as an idle simulation game with auto-battle resource collection, unit development, PvP and other planned content. The announcement says the content is still under development, so menus, graphics options and download behavior can change before release.

| Platforms | iOS and Android distribution was announced. | Use the controls for your own operating system; do not assume Android and iPhone menus will match. |
| Network test | A selected-region test was scheduled for 18 November 2026 at 14:00 JST through 24 November 2026 at 13:59 JST. Applications were scheduled to open 15 October and close 26 October. | Participation depends on the selected regions and the test schedule; a test build is not proof of the final settings or file size. |
| Development status | The announcement states that content is still under development. | Final battery, storage and mobile-data figures cannot be inferred from the announcement. |
The publisher’s mobile-game support guidance provides useful actions, but it does not publish a Gundam Blitz Order benchmark. No official installation-size figure, battery test, or measured cellular-data rate is available in the material currently published. Therefore, this guide focuses on controls and habits you can apply without pretending to know a percentage or a number of gigabytes.
Reduce battery drain while playing
1. Lower the game’s rendering workload
Open the game’s settings and look for controls named screen quality, resolution or energy-saving. Bandai Namco’s troubleshooting guidance specifically tells players to review those options. Select the lower-quality or lower-resolution choice when battery life matters more than image sharpness. A lower rendering workload generally gives the phone’s graphics hardware less work to do, but the publisher has not measured a battery percentage for Blitz Order.

If the app exposes an animation control, choose Power Saving. That label is documented in Bandai Namco’s mobile-game troubleshooting material; it has not been confirmed as a final Blitz Order menu item. If you cannot find it, do not keep searching through unrelated menus or install unofficial configuration tools. The option may simply not be included in the build you have.
| Control, if shown | Battery-oriented choice | What you give up |
|---|---|---|
| Screen quality | Low or the least demanding setting | Less detailed models, effects or textures |
| Resolution | Lower resolution | A softer image, especially on a high-density display |
| Animation | Power Saving | Reduced or simplified animation; the exact behavior depends on the final build |
| Energy-saving mode | Enabled | Visual or animation compromises that the game documents in its own description |
2. Prepare the phone before a long session
- Restart the phone. Bandai Namco recommends restarting before troubleshooting or an extended play session. This is intended to reduce instability and load from a device that has been running for a long time, not to guarantee a measured battery saving.
- Close other running apps. This can reduce competition for memory and processor time. It is especially relevant if the game reports insufficient RAM or becomes unstable.
- Let the device cool. Avoid starting a long session while the phone is already hot, and do not play in direct sun or under bedding. Heat can cause a phone to reduce performance or consume power managing its temperature; Bandai Namco’s support guidance specifically advises avoiding play while the device is overheating.
- Use a comfortable display brightness. This is a phone-level adjustment rather than a Blitz Order setting. Lowering brightness when you can still read the screen removes one source of display power use without changing the game’s graphics.
Auto-battle does not automatically mean zero battery use. If the game remains open and the display, network connection and animations are active, the phone is still doing work. Use the game’s energy-saving controls and lock the screen only if the app explicitly supports background or offline progress; do not assume that closing the app preserves every activity.
3. Balance quality against endurance
Choose settings according to the session rather than treating one preset as permanent. For a short PvP session where visual feedback matters, you may prefer the default quality. For unattended resource collection, travel or a low battery, use lower quality, lower resolution and Power Saving if available. Change one control at a time so you can identify which setting affects readability or responsiveness on your phone.

There is no published Blitz Order battery test showing how many minutes any setting saves. A claim such as “Power Saving cuts battery use by 30%” would be unsupported. If you want a personal comparison, record the phone’s battery percentage before and after equal-length sessions under similar brightness, network and temperature conditions; label the result as your own observation, not an official figure.
Manage storage, RAM and game downloads
Storage size is not published yet
Do not reserve a precise number of gigabytes based on speculation. The available official material does not state the final download or installed size for Gundam Blitz Order. The store listing or an in-game download screen may provide a figure later, and updates can make the installed footprint grow after launch.
Keep more free space than the immediate download appears to require. Phones need working room to unpack files, apply patches and maintain temporary data. Bandai Namco warns that insufficient ROM (storage) or RAM can cause problems while the app is running. ROM in that guidance means local storage; RAM is working memory and cannot be created by deleting a few photos once the game is already running.

Check space before installing or updating
- On iPhone, open the device’s storage view in Settings and check available space before downloading or updating. The exact wording can vary by iOS release.
- On Android, open the system Storage view and check both free space and whether another large download is competing with the game.
- Remove or move files you can restore, such as old videos, before beginning a large update. Do not delete saved-game data or uninstall the app unless you understand the recovery implications.
- Leave additional headroom for patches rather than filling the device to the last available megabyte.
Clear cache only as a troubleshooting step
Bandai Namco’s FAQ says clearing the cache does not delete saved data, but it does require the game data to be downloaded again. That makes cache clearing a repair tool, not a routine storage-saving trick. It may help when temporary files are corrupted or the app behaves as though an old download is incomplete; it will not permanently reduce the space required by the game’s current assets.

- Use the device’s app-management screen or an in-game troubleshooting option if the released app provides one. The final Blitz Order menu path has not been documented.
- Clear only the cache, not the app’s stored data, unless Bandai Namco explicitly instructs you to do so.
- Connect to Wi‑Fi and allow the required game files to download again. Keep the app open until the process completes and then verify that your progress is present.
If your only goal is to free a small amount of temporary space, clearing the cache can make the available-space number fall briefly and then rise again when the assets are fetched. Avoid repeating the operation before every session; repeated re-downloads consume time and mobile data.
Use a bulk or full download when the game offers it
Bandai Namco lists bulk download as a troubleshooting option for its mobile games. If Gundam Blitz Order exposes a bulk-download or full-download button, run it on a stable Wi‑Fi connection. Downloading the complete asset set once can prevent the app from fetching pieces repeatedly during play or after a partial installation.

The final Blitz Order menu and whether it offers a full download are not yet documented. Do not assume that a test build, a store-size estimate or another Gundam title uses the same option. Before starting, connect the phone to power if the download is lengthy, check available storage, and avoid switching to cellular data partway through.

Prefer Wi‑Fi for downloads and data-heavy play
Bandai Namco’s Gundam Metaverse FAQ says: “Due to the large amount of data traffic required to play this game, we recommend using a Wi-Fi connection when playing on a smartphone or tablet.” That statement is guidance for Gundam Metaverse, not a measured Gundam Blitz Order rate, but it is the safest publisher-backed rule for a mobile Gundam title. Use Wi‑Fi for the first install, bulk downloads, updates and any session in which the game is fetching new content.
Wi‑Fi does not make the game’s traffic free or guarantee a particular speed. It simply keeps the transfer off your carrier allowance. A metered hotspot may have its own limit, so treat it like cellular data unless you know the terms.
Best Value
Android: enable Data Saver and review exceptions
- Open Settings > Network & internet > Data usage > Data Saver.
- Turn Data Saver on.
- Open the list for unrestricted or allowed data use and check whether Gundam Blitz Order is exempted. Remove the exception if you want the strongest background restriction.
- Keep the game’s background mobile data restricted unless you deliberately want notifications or updates to arrive over cellular service.
Google notes that menu names vary by Android version and manufacturer. Data Saver mainly changes background behavior; it may affect how apps update or notify you. It does not stop data that the game transfers while you are actively playing, so Wi‑Fi remains the appropriate choice for large downloads.
iPhone: control cellular access per app
On iPhone, use the system’s Cellular or Mobile Data settings to turn cellular access off for the game if you want it to run only when the phone is on Wi‑Fi. Apple’s labels and layout can vary by iOS version. This prevents ordinary cellular play, so leave access enabled if you intentionally need to play away from Wi‑Fi and instead monitor the app’s usage in the same settings area.
Whichever platform you use, check your carrier’s data limit, throttling policy and service status. Bandai Namco’s troubleshooting guidance recommends checking those conditions when mobile data is not working as expected. A speed restriction can look like a game download failure even when the app and phone are functioning normally.

Understand background-data trade-offs
| Goal | Setting or habit | Trade-off |
|---|---|---|
| Keep cellular use lowest | Wi‑Fi for installs, updates and play; restrict background cellular data | Notifications or automatic updates may wait until Wi‑Fi or the app is opened. |
| Receive alerts away from Wi‑Fi | Allow the game as an unrestricted or cellular-data app | Background checks can use part of your carrier allowance. |
| Finish a large asset download reliably | Stable Wi‑Fi, adequate free storage and, if offered, a bulk/full download | The one-time transfer may be large and can take time. |
| Recover from corrupted temporary files | Clear cache, then re-download on Wi‑Fi | Saved data should remain according to the FAQ, but game files must be fetched again. |
Troubleshoot common symptoms
The phone loses charge quickly
- Open the game’s settings and reduce screen quality or resolution.
- Enable energy-saving or Power Saving if the option is present.
- Restart the phone, close other apps and stop the session if the device is overheating.
- Reduce display brightness and compare an equal-length session under similar conditions.
- Do not interpret one short session as a universal benchmark; network signal, brightness, temperature and screen-on time all affect the result.
The app reports insufficient space or fails during an update
- Check free storage and remove restorable files before trying again.
- Ensure the phone has enough working memory by closing other apps and restarting.
- Do not clear the cache merely to create permanent capacity; the game will download its files again.
- If a full-download option exists, use it only after making room and connecting to Wi‑Fi.
The game downloads files again
- Ask whether the cache was recently cleared; the FAQ says that action triggers a re-download.
- Use a stable Wi‑Fi connection and let the download finish instead of repeatedly force-closing the app.
- Keep sufficient storage available so the app can complete extraction and replacement of temporary files.
- If the behavior continues, use the game’s official troubleshooting route rather than deleting stored app data.
Cellular data disappears faster than expected
- Move the device to Wi‑Fi before installing, updating or starting a bulk download.
- Check Android Data Saver and per-app unrestricted-data access, or the iPhone Cellular list.
- Review the carrier’s usage meter and the game’s device-level data-usage entry to identify whether the transfer happened in the foreground or background.
- Remember that Data Saver does not block data transferred during active play.
Notifications stop after restricting background data
That is an expected trade-off of background restrictions, not necessarily a fault. Re-enable the game’s background or unrestricted-data permission if timely alerts matter more than minimizing cellular use, or allow notifications to wait for Wi‑Fi.
A practical setup sequence for launch or a test build
- Confirm that your device and region are eligible for the available App Store or Google Play build.
- Check free storage and close other apps before the initial install.
- Connect to Wi‑Fi and, for a long download, connect the phone to power.
- After installation, inspect the game’s settings for screen quality, resolution, energy-saving and animation controls. Enable the less demanding choices only if they suit your display and play style.
- On Android, configure Data Saver and review unrestricted-data access. On iPhone, decide whether the game should be allowed to use cellular data.
- Run a short session while watching temperature, battery level and the device’s data-usage counter.
- Before clearing cache, verify your sign-in or save recovery method. If you clear it, plan the subsequent download on Wi‑Fi.
Keep notes about the build number, date, device, network type and settings if you are comparing behavior over time. That makes your observations meaningful without presenting them as an official benchmark.
What remains unknown and how to evaluate it later
| Question | Current answer | What to check when the app is available |
|---|---|---|
| How large is the download or installation? | No official Blitz Order figure is available. | Read the store listing and the in-app download screen; note whether the number is an initial package, an installed footprint or an additional asset download. |
| Which graphics controls are included? | Screen quality, resolution, energy-saving and Power Saving are practical controls documented in Bandai Namco mobile-game support, but their presence in Blitz Order is conditional. | Open the released game’s settings and record the exact labels and available levels. |
| How much battery does each mode save? | No published Blitz Order battery benchmark exists. | Compare equal-length sessions with the same brightness, network, temperature and activity; identify the result as a device-specific observation. |
| How much mobile data does a session use? | No measured Blitz Order figure exists. | Measure foreground play and downloads separately using the phone’s data counter, and distinguish Wi‑Fi traffic from cellular traffic. |
| Does a bulk/full download exist? | Bandai Namco lists bulk download as a general troubleshooting option, but the final Blitz Order menu is not documented. | Look for the option in the released app and use it on Wi‑Fi if available. |
These limits matter because an idle game can behave differently while the screen is open, while content is being downloaded, and while background notifications are enabled. Until reproducible Blitz Order measurements and final settings are published, configuration choices are more reliable than promises of a fixed battery percentage, storage number or data allowance.
