Open the current Amazon offer for the game and follow the claim method shown there. Some offers provide a storefront code, others require you to link accounts, and some use the Amazon Games app. The method is offer-specific, so don’t assume every game goes to the same launcher.
Start with the game’s current Amazon offer
- Sign in to the Amazon account eligible for the offer and open the game’s live offer page. Amazon’s gaming experience may appear under Amazon Luna branding; use the current offer page rather than relying on a fixed navigation path.
- Select Claim and read the instructions that appear. Amazon describes offers that provide a code for a storefront, offers that require linking a Prime Gaming account to a game or launcher account, and PC games claimed or played through the Amazon Games app. Amazon’s guide to Prime Gaming offers explains these different methods.
- Follow the destination and steps named on that offer. Amazon lists GOG, Epic Games, Legacy Games, and the Amazon Games app as possible destinations, but not every game uses each one.
Redeem an Epic Games Store offer
Epic offers may use account linking or a code. Check which method the Amazon offer specifies; they are not interchangeable.

If the offer requires linking accounts
- Make sure you are signed in to the Epic account where you want the offer’s content.
- Use the linking flow provided by Amazon’s offer to connect the Amazon Prime account and Epic account. Epic says linking lets customers access Prime Gaming offers and claim content. If linking fails, follow Epic’s account-connection support instructions rather than trying an unofficial workaround.
- Return to the offer and complete the claim steps it displays.
If the offer provides an Epic code
- Sign in to the intended Epic account in the Epic Games Launcher or on the Epic Games Store website. Check the account before entering the code: successful redemption attaches the game to that account.
- Redeem the code using Epic’s current instructions for redeeming a code to an Epic Games account.
- After a successful redemption, find the game in the Epic Games Launcher Library.
Redeem a GOG code
Use the GOG account that should own the game. GOG Support’s instructions describe redeeming a code in GOG GALAXY through + Add games & Friends, then Redeem GOG code. Menu wording can change, so check GOG Support for the current route if those labels differ.

Other launchers and Amazon Games offers
For Legacy Games, the Amazon Games app, or another destination named by an offer, follow that offer’s own instructions. Amazon’s general guide covers several possible claim methods, but there is no single set of steps that applies to every storefront. For an Amazon Games app claim, use the app and any destination details specified on the offer page.

Check account, region, and offer availability
- Confirm ownership first. A code or linked claim may attach content to the storefront account you use. Epic explicitly instructs users to sign in to the intended account before redeeming a code.
- Check the offer’s availability and end date. Offers and eligibility can vary by country or territory, and an expired or unavailable offer may not be claimable. Amazon’s support index includes country and territory eligibility information; use it alongside the live offer’s displayed terms.
- Don’t look for a code if the offer uses direct linking. The offer page tells you whether to enter a code, connect accounts, or use an app.
- Check the destination library after claiming. Epic says redeemed games appear in the Epic Games Launcher Library. For GOG or Amazon Games, check the corresponding launcher or its official support if the game is not visible.
