The amounts there are estimates; YouTube identifies AdSense for YouTube as the place to check finalized earnings. Because YouTube is gradually updating Studio, your labels or layout may differ.
Find membership and Supers revenue in YouTube Studio
- Sign in to YouTube Studio and select Analytics in the left menu.
- At channel level, open the Revenue tab. YouTube makes this tab available to creators in the YouTube Partner Program; revenue analytics can also be opened for an individual video.
- Find How you make money, which breaks estimated revenue down by source.
- Select Memberships to inspect membership revenue, or Supers to inspect revenue in YouTube’s Supers category.
- Set the date range before comparing results. In membership details, YouTube’s instructions also describe a custom period and video-format filter.
- For more detailed reporting, use Advanced Mode when available. YouTube says it supports selecting specific data, comparing results, and exporting reports.
Studio’s labels and layout may vary by account during the gradual rollout of its updated experience, which YouTube says began in July 2026. If your screen differs, look for the Revenue tab and the source breakdown rather than relying on an exact visual layout.
What “Memberships,” “Supers,” and transaction figures mean
Memberships revenue
The Memberships source reports estimated revenue from memberships and gifted memberships for the selected date range. It is an earnings amount, not a count of active members.

YouTube’s membership reporting also describes a Transactions Revenue card. Despite its name, this is a transaction count: it counts new sign-ups and recurring transactions. For gift activity, the Memberships Type view distinguishes gifts from redemptions during the selected period.
Supers revenue is broader than Super Chat
YouTube groups Super Chat, Super Stickers, and Super Thanks under Supers in its revenue definitions. A total labeled Supers should not be described as Super Chat revenue alone unless the selected detail view actually isolates Super Chat.

Members, active members, and billing periods
A member who cancels may keep membership perks until the end of the billing period. As a result, the total-members figure can include canceled members who still have access, while active members excludes canceled members. YouTube says membership billing periods can be 28, 30, or 31 days, depending on the calendar month. The Memberships tab’s revenue refers to the last billing period, so check the selected dates and metric before comparing it with a monthly total.
How to compare periods or revenue sources fairly
- Keep the date range consistent. Different periods can make a change look larger or smaller than it is.
- Compare like with like. Separate Memberships from Supers, and use an individual Supers detail view if you need a Super Chat-only figure.
- Do not mix counts and money. Transactions Revenue counts sign-ups and recurrences; it is not a revenue amount.
- Check the available filters. Membership details may offer a video-format filter as well as a custom period.
- Distinguish members from active members. Canceled members can retain perks until their billing period ends.
- Separate estimates from finalized earnings. Analytics estimates and AdSense for YouTube finalized earnings are different reporting stages.
Why Analytics and AdSense for YouTube can show different figures
YouTube says revenue can take two days to appear in Analytics. The Analytics amount is an estimate and may later change because of invalid traffic, copyright claims or disputes, and certain types of ad campaigns. YouTube’s guidance describes an initial adjustment after one week and a later adjustment in the middle of the following month, when earnings are finalized.
Rank #2
Finalized earnings are shown in AdSense for YouTube. YouTube says they are generally added to the account between the 7th and 12th of the following month. Tax withholding can also make the final amount differ from the Analytics estimate.
When reconciling, use the same reporting period and distinguish estimated source revenue in Analytics from finalized earnings in AdSense. A change to an estimate, by itself, does not establish that a particular transaction was removed.
RPM, CPM, and source revenue are not interchangeable
Use the source breakdown to check Memberships or Supers directly rather than trying to infer either amount from RPM or CPM.
- RPM is creator-focused revenue after YouTube’s share per 1,000 views. It can include ads, memberships, YouTube Premium, Super Chat, and Super Stickers.
- CPM is advertiser-focused cost per 1,000 ad impressions before revenue share, including ads and YouTube Premium.
- Source revenue identifies estimated revenue attributed to a particular source, such as Memberships or Supers.
Revenue share is context, not a shortcut to your report total
YouTube’s partner earnings guidance says the Commerce Product Module pays creators 70% of net revenues from channel memberships, Super Chat, Super Stickers, and Super Thanks. YouTube’s Supers guidance says confirmed Supers revenue is calculated after local sales tax and iOS App Store fees are deducted, while YouTube currently covers transaction costs including credit-card fees. Your agreement and applicable taxes or fees matter, so do not multiply a viewer’s gross purchase by 70% and treat the result as your Analytics total.
