In God of War (2018), the main hidden area in Helheim is the Hidden Chamber of Odin. You reach it on a return visit with Atreus: follow the bridge route, then have him use electric arrows to clear the red sap and Shatter Crystal blocking the entrance. The first trip through Helheim does not open every chamber or reveal every raven.
When you can reach Helheim’s hidden chamber
Return to Helheim with Atreus after progressing the story. The first visit covers the bridge and lower-pit paths; the chamber entrance becomes accessible on the return route. Prima Games describes the return route as: “Return to Helheim with Atreus and climb onto the second narrow footbridge that runs perpendicular to the bridge.” Prima Games and Gamer Guides distinguish this return visit from the initial exploration.

Open the Hidden Chamber of Odin
- Return to Helheim with Atreus and follow the bridge route toward the Bridge Keeper area.
- Near the end of the bridge, look along its left side for the red obstruction covering the entrance.
- Ask Atreus to shoot the red sap/Shatter Crystal with electric arrows. When it clears, enter the exposed chamber. PowerPyx notes that breaking a seal is not required to enter. PowerPyx’s Helheim walkthrough and Prima Games’ route describe the obstruction and return visit.
Inside, check the entrance area and the lower floor. The chamber route includes ravens and an artefact; farther inside are a Mystic Gateway and the Valkyrie room.
Find the nearby ravens and other discoveries
Several ravens are associated with the Helheim bridge and return route, not just the chamber. Check these locations as you explore:

The green-energy-ball puzzle for a Legendary Chest is an optional route, not the way to unlock the Hidden Chamber. PowerPyx describes carrying energy between holders along the bridge and toward the entrance-side door; its guide says the energy becomes available after completing the Helheim area. If your goal is simply to enter the chamber, clear the red obstruction with Atreus’s electric arrows instead. PowerPyx’s Legendary Chest route.
