Call 800.331.0500, the number AT&T identifies for reaching a loyalty expert in its wireless cancellation guidance. Explain why you are calling—such as reviewing account options before canceling—and ask to speak with a loyalty expert. The guidance documents this route for wireless service; it does not establish that the same number or process applies to AT&T internet, TV, prepaid, or business accounts.

Use chat when available
AT&T says customers can choose Chat when available to remove a wireless line or cancel service. That is an additional cancellation route, not a guarantee that a loyalty expert will handle every chat.

AT&T’s wireless support page lists bill and account support hours as Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Central Time, and Saturday and Sunday, 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Central Time. These are published bill-and-account support hours; AT&T does not separately confirm on that page that the loyalty team follows the same schedule.

Do not confuse the loyalty route with the number for new service: AT&T lists 888.333.6651 for new service. Its wireless support page also provides a separate international support number for customers traveling abroad.
What to compare before accepting an offer
If loyalty offers a discount or account change, compare the resulting bill with what you pay now and check the offer terms before agreeing. Focus on the full cost and the conditions that apply, not just the advertised monthly credit.
- Total monthly bill: Compare the amount due after all credits, fees, and other charges.
- Credit duration: Check how long each credit lasts and whether it is recurring.
- Required service: Confirm whether the offer requires a particular plan or service tier.
- Device and service obligations: Check for device installment requirements or service commitments.
- Conditions that end the discount: Some recurring device discounts depend on keeping service active and the account in good standing.
AT&T says each offer has its own terms. Ask the representative to explain the requirements and when the offer should begin, then review the customer service summary for the written details.

How to access AT&T THANKS benefits
AT&T THANKS is a customer benefits program that may include event and entertainment access, movie offers, music experiences and presales, dining partner offers, service support, priority services, and limited-time private offers. Eligibility and availability depend on service tier and offer terms, so a specific benefit is not guaranteed to every customer.
AT&T says eligible customers are already enrolled and do not need to sign up. The AT&T app is one way to access and redeem benefits; AT&T wireless customers can also text ATTTHANKS to 8758. App use and messaging may involve data or messaging charges, and compatible-device requirements apply as described on AT&T’s benefits page.
What to do if a promised discount is missing
- Open the AT&T billing center and go to Last bill → View discounts.
- Review the customer service summary and check that you meet the offer’s requirements.
- Check whether enough billing time has passed: AT&T says a qualifying discount usually appears on the next bill but can take up to two bill periods.
- If it still has not appeared, contact AT&T and ask the representative to review the offer terms, eligibility, and expected credit timing.
AT&T’s billing guidance says offer terms control the details and timing. The amount and duration of any credit therefore depend on the specific offer.
