To protect a Roblox account, sign in only through Roblox’s official app or by going directly to roblox.com, never share passwords, browser cookies, 2-Step Verification (2SV) codes or backup codes, and enable 2SV or a passkey. Roblox says there are no sanctioned free-Robux offers. A password manager can help create and store a unique password, but it cannot make a fake login page safe. The “up to 58% off” NordPass claim is not verified as a current offer.
How Roblox scams try to steal accounts
Roblox identifies free-Robux or other too-good-to-be-true offers, fake staff identities, requests for passwords, links that take users away from Roblox, and unofficial trades or sales as warning signs. It states, “There are no sanctioned offerings of free Robux.” It also says, “We’ll never ask for your password outside of the Roblox login page.” Roblox’s fraud and scam guidance explains these red flags.

A report by TechRadar Pro dated October 6, 2026, attributed to NordVPN Threat Intelligence, said it observed 196 Roblox phishing addresses over seven days. The report described lures shared through Discord, YouTube, TikTok and direct messages, including free-Robux hooks; some pages reportedly asked for verification information as well as passwords. This is a dated figure attributed to NordVPN’s team through TechRadar, not a Roblox prevalence estimate, and the underlying report and methodology are not established here. - Open Roblox directly. Use the official app or type roblox.com yourself rather than following an unsolicited login link. Roblox’s account-safety guidance recommends avoiding suspicious links.
- Keep credentials and codes private. Never give anyone your password, browser cookie, 2SV code or backup code, even if they claim to be Roblox staff. Roblox says it will not ask for your password outside its login page.
- Use a unique password. Avoid common or reused passwords. A password manager can generate and store a strong one so you do not have to reuse credentials across services.
- Turn on 2SV or add a passkey. Roblox provides both account protections. It says passkeys help protect against phishing and credential stuffing. See its instructions for logging in with a passkey.
- Consider Enhanced Protection if you can meet its recovery requirements. This option requires a passkey, verified email and a secondary identity-verification method, such as a verified phone or backup codes. Roblox supports hardware security keys as passkeys on certain setups; its guidance gives YubiKey as an example for supported Chrome and Android configurations. Check device and connector compatibility before choosing a key, and keep recovery methods accessible because a key can be lost or damaged. What to do if your Roblox account is hacked
Start with Roblox’s official account recovery instructions. Also secure the email account used to access Roblox and the devices you use to sign in. Avoid relying on unofficial trades or sales as a way to recover items; use Roblox’s process for account issues.

Where NordPass fits—and where it does not
NordPass describes tools for generating and storing strong passwords, managing credentials and passkeys, and autofilling login forms. Its product information also lists features such as Password Health, Data Breach Scanner and cross-device access on described plans. NordPass’s personal password-manager page lists those features.
For a household, NordPass says its Family plan supports up to six users with separate encrypted vaults. That can help family members keep credentials distinct, but it does not replace parental guidance or Roblox’s own authentication settings. Details are on NordPass’s Family plan page.

A password manager is useful for credential hygiene, not a phishing shield: if someone enters a password into a convincing fake Roblox page, password storage alone cannot undo that disclosure. Roblox’s passkeys and Enhanced Protection address phishing more directly. Also, NordPass’s support for FIDO2/U2F security keys applies to signing in to NordPass; it does not establish Roblox compatibility. Roblox’s own Enhanced Protection guidance is the source for its supported passkey options. NordPass’s security-key information describes its service support.
