You need a separate workflow—an encoder, hardware device, or cloud service—that sends the videos to YouTube Live as a feed. Prepare the rights-cleared files and their order, connect that workflow to YouTube’s Live Control Room, then test and monitor the stream.
What “24/7 YouTube live playlist” means
A YouTube playlist organizes videos viewers can watch on demand. A live stream is a feed sent to YouTube from an encoder or streaming service. To play prerecorded Marathi videos continuously as a live event, arrange and loop them in the tool that sends the feed; do not assume that a normal YouTube playlist will do this by itself. YouTube’s encoder guidance describes the live-feed workflow and examples of software, hardware, and cloud options: Create a YouTube live stream with an encoder.

1. Confirm channel access and clear the rights
Check livestream eligibility first
YouTube says livestreaming requires a verified channel with no livestreaming restrictions in the previous 90 days. First-time activation may take up to 24 hours, so enable it well before your planned launch. Check your channel’s status in YouTube Studio and follow YouTube’s livestreaming setup guidance.
Review every video and audio track
Use only material for which you have the necessary rights to broadcast on YouTube, including music, performances, images, and other third-party content. Keep permission or license records accessible. A license does not necessarily prevent an automated interruption: if a rights holder uses Content ID, ask whether your channel must be allowlisted. YouTube explains how it handles copyright issues with live streams.

YouTube’s livestream terms require the creator to hold the necessary rights for the live content on Google services worldwide, including applicable music rights. Check the terms and your actual license scope rather than assuming permission in one territory or format covers a worldwide live broadcast.
2. Prepare and order the Marathi video library
Check the actual files
- Play each source file and confirm that the intended Marathi audio is present, intelligible, and synchronized.
- Check that titles, on-screen text, and any captions are readable for your intended audience.
- Remove anything whose rights are unclear or whose license does not cover the intended live use.
- Keep a clean copy of each original file and note the intended sequence.
YouTube’s general livestream guidance does not set Marathi-specific encoding, caption, transliteration, or file-format rules. Check the requirements of the encoder or service you choose, then test the actual files rather than treating one format recipe as universal.

Plan order, repetition, and transitions
Decide what viewers should hear and see as the sequence moves between videos, and how it should repeat. Configure the order and loop behavior in your encoder or streaming service. The official guidance describes sending a feed from an encoder; it does not identify a YouTube playlist setting that converts prerecorded uploads into a continuous live broadcast.

YouTube lists software encoders, hardware encoders, and cloud services for live streaming. Its encoder page names Gyre as a cloud service for 24/7 prerecorded streams and AJA HELO Plus as hardware that can schedule prerecorded media to YouTube Live without a computer. 4. Connect the encoder and test before launch
- Create the live stream: In YouTube Studio, open the Live Control Room and create or schedule the stream. Follow the current prompts for the event.
- Copy the connection details: Copy the stream URL and stream key from YouTube into the matching fields in your encoder or service. Treat the key like a password; reset it if it is exposed.
- Allow setup time: YouTube recommends configuring the encoder at least two hours before the event and starting it at least 15 minutes before the scheduled start.
- Check the preview: Wait for the feed preview in the Live Control Room. Confirm video and audio are present and that the sequence is behaving as expected before going live.
- Check access and recording: Verify that the watch page opens and can be viewed on mobile. If you are recording a local archive, confirm that the file is being written and growing.
- Monitor the live feed: Keep checking audio and video quality during the stream, especially after changes to files, settings, or the connection.

Leave upload headroom
YouTube recommends keeping available upload capacity at least 20% above the total stream bitrate. If primary and backup feeds are sent at the same time, count both rates when checking capacity. A wired connection is preferable where practical; test the actual network path and equipment you plan to use for the long-running stream.

5. Plan for archives and long runtimes
YouTube’s encoder instructions say streams under 12 hours are automatically archived. A single uninterrupted 24-hour stream is therefore different from a shorter scheduled stream: confirm current archive behavior and decide whether you need a local master or a segmented schedule. Do not rely on an archive until you have checked that it is being created and is accessible.
