Prepare for the announced 2027 DOOM soundtrack performance at RADAR Festival as a loud, live concert rather than a soundtrack playback session. The lineup announced by RADAR combines Mick Gordon, the DOOM Machine, a full live band and an orchestra at Magna, Magna Way, Sheffield, S60 1FD. Your essential preparation is to verify the latest ticket and set-time instructions, plan your journey to Magna, arrange hearing protection, review the event-specific accessibility guidance, and coordinate with anyone attending with you. The announcement does not publish a complete setlist or running time, so plan for the event format rather than a guaranteed list of songs.

What has been announced

RADAR Festival’s official listing describes a 2027 DOOM music performance featuring Mick Gordon, the DOOM Machine, a full live band and an orchestra. That wording points to a staged live arrangement with amplified instruments and orchestral forces, not a screening of game footage or a simple recording played over a sound system. The current announcement is the reliable starting point for the format, but it does not establish a final setlist, a running time or which DOOM games will supply the music. Read the current listing at RADAR Festival before you make detailed plans.

Planning item Confirmed information
Event RADAR Festival has announced a DOOM soundtrack performance for its 2027 festival.
Performers and format Mick Gordon, the DOOM Machine, a full live band and an orchestra.
Venue Magna, Magna Way, Sheffield, S60 1FD.
Setlist The current announcement does not publish a detailed song list.
Running time The current announcement does not publish a performance length.
Timings and entry instructions RADAR says set times and practical instructions will be issued closer to the festival through its website, app and ticket-agent messages.

Because this is a future event, treat every operational detail as changeable. Venue arrangements, access procedures, set times and entry rules can be revised. Save the official event page, keep the ticket-agent email or app notifications enabled, and check both again shortly before traveling.

Build a preparation timeline

When you buy or receive your ticket

  1. Confirm the event and venue on the current RADAR listing. Make sure your ticket corresponds to the 2027 festival and that you have recorded Magna, Magna Way, Sheffield, S60 1FD rather than relying on directions from an earlier RADAR year or another venue.
  2. Read every ticket message. Ticket-agent emails may contain the mobile-ticket procedure, entrance information, age or bag rules, and updates that are not repeated on older web pages. Keep the message accessible offline if your phone signal may be unreliable.
  3. Add an update reminder. Set a calendar reminder for the week before the festival to check the official site, the RADAR app and your ticket account. RADAR says set times will be published nearer the event, so an early schedule found elsewhere should not be treated as final.

Several weeks before the festival

  1. Choose your travel plan. Check current rail, bus, driving, walking and parking information for Magna and Sheffield. Allow time for festival queues and any transfer between a station, car park or accommodation and the venue. Do not assume that arrangements used at a previous RADAR location apply at Magna.
  2. Review accessibility information. RADAR says arrangements for its new home at Magna are being updated. Read the event-specific guide when it is published and contact the festival with questions that the guide does not answer. Early contact gives the organizer more opportunity to explain entrances, viewing areas, toilets, seating, companion arrangements and other practical details.
  3. Decide how you will protect your hearing. RADAR’s FAQ recommends earplugs for loud music and says staff may have earplugs available. Bringing your own is therefore optional, but deciding in advance avoids having to make the choice in a crowded entrance area.
  4. Coordinate with your group. Agree on a meeting point in case people arrive separately or lose mobile service. Choose a location that is easy to describe and outside the densest crowd flow, and make sure everyone knows the plan.

The day before

  • Check the latest set times, entry instructions, venue notices and ticket-agent messages.
  • Charge your phone and, if possible, carry a small power bank that complies with the venue’s current rules.
  • Download or screenshot your ticket and the key travel information so you are not dependent on a live connection.
  • Pack earplugs if you plan to use them, plus any accessibility equipment or medication you normally need.
  • Tell your group the meeting point and a fallback plan if one person’s phone dies.
  • Check the weather and adjust clothing for the walk, queue and journey home without assuming that conditions inside Magna will match outside.

On the event day

  1. Recheck before leaving. Look at the official RADAR channels and your ticket-agent messages for last-minute changes to doors, set times, entrances or transport advice.
  2. Leave a realistic buffer. Your journey includes travel to Sheffield, finding Magna, security or ticket checks and movement through a festival site. A buffer is more useful than trying to arrive at an unconfirmed minute.
  3. Meet your group before entering if practical. If the site separates queues or reception is poor, use the agreed meeting point rather than repeatedly calling one another.
  4. Locate essentials early. Once inside, identify toilets, water points, exits, staff or information desks and the route back to your meeting point.
  5. Fit hearing protection before the loudest part begins. If you use earplugs, insert them according to their instructions and adjust them while the sound level is still comfortable.

Plan for Magna in Sheffield

The official event listing names Magna, Magna Way, Sheffield, S60 1FD as the venue. That address is enough to anchor your planning, but it is not a complete travel plan. Confirm the route, entrance and any festival-specific transport arrangements close to the date through RADAR and the ticket agent. A venue can have different pedestrian, vehicle and accessibility approaches during a festival than it does during ordinary opening hours.

  • Compact & Travel-Friendly: The ultra-compact design allows the adapter to stay plugged into your device without blocking adjacent ports or adding bulk, reducing wear and tear on your original USB ports.
  • 12-Month Warranty: Backed by a 12-month manufacturer warranty for peace of mind. Designed to meet strict quality control standards for reliable everyday performance.

If you are traveling by public transport

Check the latest timetable for your entire journey, including the final walk or local connection to Magna. Note the time of the last practical service home and make a backup plan if the performance or your departure is later than expected. Festival crowds can make a normally short interchange slower, so avoid planning a connection with no margin. Save the venue address and your accommodation details offline.

If you are driving

Use current festival and venue instructions for parking, drop-off points, accessible parking and road closures. Do not assume that a car park used for a previous RADAR event will be available at Magna. If you are dropping off another attendee, agree on a safe, permitted location and a time for collection; roadside stopping may be restricted or unsafe.

If you are staying overnight

Confirm the check-in deadline and the route back after the show before you travel. Keep the ticket, accommodation confirmation and return plan together. If your group separates inside the festival, the previously agreed meeting point should still work without requiring everyone to return to the same accommodation immediately.

Protect your hearing without overcomplicating it

RADAR’s FAQ advises attendees to protect their hearing from loud noise with earplugs and says earplugs may be available from staff. You do not have to purchase a product in advance to attend. Bringing your own simply lets you choose the fit and have protection ready when you need it.

Option Advantages Points to check
Disposable foam earplugs Light, inexpensive and easy to replace. They must be rolled and inserted correctly; an incorrect fit can feel uncomfortable and provide less protection.
Reusable concert-style earplugs Designed for repeated use and often easier to carry between shows. Check that the fit is secure and comfortable for long wear, and keep them in a clean case.
Earplugs supplied by staff Convenient if you decide at the venue that you want protection. Availability is stated by RADAR, but you should not rely on a particular type, quantity or fitting service being available at a specific desk.

Fit and comfort checks

  • Try your chosen earplugs at home before the festival so you know whether they stay in place while you move.
  • Do not share used earplugs.
  • Carry a spare pair in a small case or sealed packet.
  • If music sounds muffled in an uncomfortable way, the plug may be poorly fitted; refit it rather than forcing it deeper.
  • Move away from speakers or another very loud position if the sound remains uncomfortable. Earplugs reduce exposure but do not make unlimited loudness harmless.
  • Seek staff help if you experience pain, ringing, dizziness or another concerning symptom.

Use the accessibility information that is current for Magna

RADAR says its arrangements for the new home at Magna are being updated and identifies the event-specific accessibility guide as the most accurate source once published. Read that guide at RADAR’s accessibility information and contact the festival with questions that remain unanswered.

Questions worth resolving early

  • Which entrance should you use, and is there a step-free route from arrival points to the performance area?
  • Are accessible viewing areas, seating or companion arrangements available, and how are they allocated?
  • Where are accessible toilets, quiet spaces, water points and first-aid facilities?
  • What are the rules for mobility aids, medical equipment, assistance animals or necessary medication?
  • Can staff provide an earplug or other hearing-protection option if you need one?
  • What is the procedure if you need to leave the performance area and return?

Keep any response from the festival with your ticket information. If the published guide changes, use the newer version rather than an earlier saved copy. Explain your practical needs clearly and ask for the procedure that applies to this Magna event, not a general answer based on a different RADAR venue.

What to bring

Pack for the confirmed needs of a festival day, not for an imaginary setlist or a specific song. Your final bag must comply with the current ticket and venue rules, which can change.

Special offer. See more information about Outbyte and uninstall instructions. Please review EULA and Privacy policy.

Core items

  • Valid ticket or mobile-ticket access, with an offline screenshot or saved copy if permitted.
  • Photo identification if the ticket instructions require it.
  • Phone with enough charge to display the ticket and receive updates.
  • Earplugs, if you prefer to bring your own.
  • Medication and accessibility equipment you normally need.
  • Payment method accepted by the current festival arrangements.
  • Weather-appropriate clothing and comfortable footwear for queuing and walking.
  • A small, clearly labeled bag that meets the latest venue policy.

Items to verify before packing

Do not assume that cameras, large bags, outside food, bottles, umbrellas, recording equipment or power banks are allowed. The supplied event information does not establish a complete bag policy. Check the ticket agent and RADAR’s latest instructions instead of relying on a generic concert checklist.

Know what kind of performance to expect

The strongest confirmed description is a live performance involving Mick Gordon, the DOOM Machine, a full band and an orchestra. Expect a concert setting with amplified sound and the physical demands of a festival audience. The sources do not confirm whether the program will focus on one DOOM title, span several games, include visual material, or follow a particular narrative. They also do not confirm a detailed setlist or running time.

How to prepare musically

Listening to DOOM music beforehand is optional. It can help you recognize themes and appreciate the arrangements, but it is not a prerequisite and cannot tell you exactly what will be played. Avoid planning the night around one named track appearing in the set. The published announcement does not promise individual songs.

How to prepare physically

  • Eat and hydrate in a way that suits your health needs before entering the busiest part of the event.
  • Wear shoes suitable for standing and walking on hard surfaces.
  • Take breaks when you need them rather than waiting until fatigue or discomfort becomes severe.
  • Use the venue’s staff and information points if you are unsure about exits, toilets, water or accessibility arrangements.

Coordinate safely with friends

Set a meeting plan

RADAR’s FAQ includes meeting-point planning and keeping your phone charged among its general festival tips. Choose one primary point and one backup point before the show. Avoid selecting the front of a stage, a narrow doorway or a location that will be inaccessible during a crowd surge. Tell everyone what to do if they arrive after the group has moved inside.

Special offer. See more information about Outbyte and uninstall instructions. Please review EULA and Privacy policy.

Prepare for weak reception

Large crowds and indoor structures can make messaging unreliable. Keep important information in a note that is available offline: the venue address, accommodation address, meeting points, ticket details and emergency contacts. A charged phone helps, but a prearranged plan prevents your group from depending on a single device or a continuous signal.

Agree on a departure rule

Decide whether your group leaves together or checks in before splitting for transport. If someone needs to leave early because of hearing discomfort, illness, access needs or travel constraints, make that acceptable in advance. The person leaving should know how to reach the agreed meeting point or accommodation without having to find the whole group.

Optional fan merchandise is separate from preparation

You do not need a soundtrack record or other collectible to attend the concert. Bethesda’s announcement for the DOOM: The Dark Ages physical soundtrack describes a 4LP edition containing all 35 tracks, composed by Finishing Move; that is a separate fan-merchandise context, not an event requirement. If you are interested, read the details at Bethesda’s soundtrack announcement. Do not substitute a merchandise purchase for checking your ticket, travel, hearing or access plans.

Handle common uncertainties on the day

The set time has changed

Use the newest notice from RADAR or the ticket agent, then follow staff directions at the venue. Do not rely on a screenshot of an earlier schedule if a later update is available.

Special offer. See more information about Outbyte and uninstall instructions. Please review EULA and Privacy policy.

You cannot find the correct entrance

Ask an official information point or member of event staff. Show your ticket and explain whether you need a standard or accessible route. Avoid entering through an unmarked door or following an unofficial crowd route.

You forgot earplugs

RADAR says staff may have earplugs available. Ask at an information or welfare point, and move to a less intense position while you decide. Buying a pair beforehand is optional, not a condition of entry.

Your group is separated

Go to the agreed meeting point at the agreed time. If it is inaccessible, use the backup point. Send one concise message with your location and wait rather than moving repeatedly through the crowd.

You need accessibility assistance that was not obvious in the guide

Speak to event staff as soon as you arrive. The event-specific guide and the organizer’s accessibility contact are the right channels for questions about Magna arrangements; do not assume a previous festival setup applies.

Special offer. See more information about Outbyte and uninstall instructions. Please review EULA and Privacy policy.

The volume is uncomfortable

Put in your earplugs correctly, move farther from loudspeaker positions and take a break. Tell staff if you feel unwell. Persistent pain, ringing, dizziness or hearing changes warrant prompt medical attention.

Final checklist

  • Confirm the 2027 RADAR DOOM performance and Magna address on the official listing.
  • Read the latest ticket-agent message and wait for the official set-time update.
  • Plan a current route to Magna, including the return journey.
  • Read the event-specific accessibility guide when RADAR publishes or updates it.
  • Choose whether to bring earplugs; staff may have them, so advance purchase is optional.
  • Charge your phone, save key information offline and agree on meeting points.
  • Pack only items allowed by the latest venue policy.
  • Expect Mick Gordon, the DOOM Machine, a live band and an orchestra, but do not assume a particular song list or show length.

Checking official updates close to the festival is the step that keeps every other plan accurate. For current timings, entry instructions and venue arrangements, use RADAR’s official channels and the messages attached to your ticket.
