How to find and install the demo
- Open Steam and search for the exact demo title. Look for Unrivaled Heroes: 2.5D Brawler Demo, rather than stopping at the full-game listing. The developer is GingerSun Games and the publisher is Soft Source; those names help distinguish the intended game from similarly named titles.
- Open the demo’s Steam listing. Confirm that the page is the demo listing, not just the full game’s page.
- Select the listing’s download/install control. Follow the prompts shown by Steam. The listing confirms this route, but the specific client screens and wording can vary, so follow the current prompts rather than relying on a fixed screen-by-screen walkthrough.
- Launch the demo through Steam when installation is complete. Use the controls and any guidance presented in the game itself; official store material does not establish exact keyboard bindings or a first-session tutorial sequence.
What to expect when you start
The official Steam description characterizes the game as a “2.5D side-scrolling beat-’em-up” with multiple heroes who have distinct abilities. Its setting draws on Indonesian folklore and mythology, and the official descriptions include fighting enemies and bosses. These are store-page descriptions, not a guarantee of particular demo stages or content.

You can expect action built around side-scrolling combat and different hero abilities. The available official descriptions do not specify exact moves, character selection steps, mission order, difficulty settings, or a control guide, so those details should be checked in the installed demo rather than assumed.
Playing solo or with other people
The full-game Steam page describes single-player and shared/split-screen co-op. The demo listing describes local co-op for up to four players. That supports local play, but it does not establish online multiplayer.

If the demo or full game is not available
- You see only the full-game listing: search for the exact demo title, Unrivaled Heroes: 2.5D Brawler Demo, and open its separate listing.
- The demo listing no longer offers installation: availability may have changed since the October 13, 2026 status. Recheck the live listing rather than treating an earlier demo option as permanent.
- The full-game page still says unavailable: its planned October 2026 date is not proof of release. Use the live listing as the current status indicator.
- You need help with a Steam prompt or a launch problem: follow the current client guidance. The official pages covered here confirm the demo install route but do not document client-specific troubleshooting steps.
What the June 2025 demo announcement tells you
The Steam Community hub records that Soft Source Publishing and GingerSun Games presented the demo during Steam Next Fest in June 2025. This is historical context for the demo, not confirmation of the full game’s current release status or a current event.
