Check whether the mobile version is available in your country
Availability is the first thing to verify because the official sources do not currently show one universal date. Double Dagger Studio’s mobile FAQ says the game is planned for October 12, 2026 on iPhone, iPad, and thousands of Android phones and tablets. The same FAQ says China will follow later. However, the US Apple App Store page accessed on October 11, 2026 displayed an expected December 31, 2026 date.

Before you spend time troubleshooting, search your local Apple App Store or Google Play for Little Kitty, Big City and confirm all of the following:

The list and minimum operating-system version are storefront data and may change. Check the live listing for your Apple ID region immediately before downloading. If your device is older than the listed families or cannot update to iOS/iPadOS 13.0, the store may prevent installation.
Internet, storage, and account access
You need an internet connection to download the app and to buy the full version. Double Dagger Studio’s FAQ answers the question directly: “Only to download the game and buy the full version. After that, you can play offline!” Make sure the purchase has completed before relying on offline play.

Leave enough free space for the store to download and install the app, and use the amount shown on your own store page rather than relying on a number from another region or an older listing. - Search for Little Kitty, Big City.
- Open the result and verify that Double Dagger Studio is the developer.
- Read the current compatibility and release information shown for your device and country.
- Tap the store’s install button and let the download finish while connected to the internet.
- Launch the game and start the trial instead of purchasing immediately if you want to check how it runs and whether the touch controls suit you.

- Move the cat through the city using the mobile control layout presented on screen.
- Explore paths and spaces rather than treating the game as a linear level-by-level action title.
- Meet stray animals and observe the interactions that help establish the city’s character.
- Collect hats and other discoverable items while working toward the cat’s journey home.
These are the activities supported by the official descriptions. The available material does not establish a complete mission list, a specific control tutorial, or a guaranteed order for every encounter, so follow the prompts and environmental cues in your own build rather than using a fabricated button guide.
Unlock the full game
Google Play
On Android, the Google Play listing says the purchase prompt appears after you collect and turn in 25 Shinies to Crow. Follow the in-game purchase flow, confirm the transaction through Google Play, and relaunch or continue when the unlock is acknowledged. Your trial progress remains available.
Apple App Store
On iPhone and iPad, use the purchase prompt shown by the App Store version installed on your device. The US listing accessed October 11, 2026 displayed a $12.99 full-game unlock. That is a US storefront price at that point in time, not a worldwide price or a promise that the amount will remain unchanged. Your local currency, taxes, and current listing may differ.
What the purchase does and does not include
The mobile unlock is a one-time purchase that permanently unlocks the full game on the platform where you bought it. It is not a subscription. Buying the PC or console edition does not grant mobile access, and an Android purchase does not unlock the iPhone or iPad edition. Apple and Android purchases are separate.
The developer also says mobile saves cannot transfer from PC or console. Plan to begin a separate mobile playthrough even if you already played on another system.
Use the mobile-only AR mode
The mobile edition includes an AR mode that is not part of the original cross-platform feature set described for the game. Google Play states that camera and AR features are unavailable during the free trial and require the full unlock. If you want to try AR, complete the in-app purchase first, then grant the camera permission when the operating system asks for it.

AR availability can depend on the capabilities and permissions of your particular phone or tablet. The official information does not promise identical AR behavior on every supported device, so check the live store description and the permission dialog on your hardware. You can play the regular exploration adventure without treating AR as a prerequisite.

There is no sourced performance ranking between particular Android phones, iPhones, or iPads. A newer or more expensive device is not automatically confirmed to deliver a better experience by the available official information; use the store’s compatibility result and the trial on your own hardware.

After the game has been downloaded and the full version has been purchased, the developer says you can play offline. You may still need to reconnect for a future update, reinstall, account recovery, or store transaction, but the FAQ’s offline statement applies to ordinary play after download and purchase.
Do not buy a mobile gamepad expecting official support. When asked about controllers, the developer FAQ says, “Not at this time.” The supported input method is the rebuilt touchscreen control scheme included in the mobile edition.
Languages and regional release
The developer FAQ lists these languages: English, Spanish (Spain), Japanese, Portuguese (Brazil), French, German, Korean, Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese, Italian, Polish, Russian, and Turkish.

Language support and regional availability are separate issues. Simplified or Traditional Chinese in the language list does not mean the game has launched in mainland China; the FAQ separately says China is coming later. Check both the language selector or store description and the release status for your territory.

Troubleshooting common setup problems
The game does not appear in search
Confirm that your store account is set to the country you actually use and search the complete title. If the official listing still does not appear, the mobile release may not yet be active in your territory. Do not substitute an unofficial download.
The store says the device is incompatible
On Android, Google Play’s compatibility result is the relevant test for that device. On Apple hardware, compare your model and operating-system version with the live listing; the published US requirements can change. Updating the operating system may help only when the hardware itself remains on the supported list.
The purchase prompt has not appeared
On Google Play, the listed trigger is collecting and turning in 25 Shinies to Crow. Make sure you have completed the turn-in, not merely collected the items. If the prompt still does not appear, verify that the app is connected to the correct Google account and that the store can complete in-app purchases.

Use the same platform account and the same installed copy that you used for the trial. The Google Play listing says progress carries over; switching between Android and Apple accounts cannot transfer the purchase or save because the platforms are separate.
AR or camera features do not work
AR and camera features are locked during the trial. After unlocking, check that camera permission is enabled in the operating system and that you are using a device accepted by the current store listing. The regular non-AR adventure remains the fallback if your hardware or permissions do not support the AR experience.
