Epic Seven is scheduled to launch on Steam on October 29, 2026, but the date can change. When the Steam version is available, you can use an existing Epic Seven account by transferring it to a Steam Simple Login account through Smilegate’s official STOVE account-transfer instructions. Your game progress, unclaimed rewards, event items and ongoing Epic Pass progress are retained. If you already created a new account in the Steam version, do not expect the accounts to merge: contact Customer Service and request deletion of the new Steam account before transferring your established account.
Is Epic Seven available on Steam yet?
The Steam store listing checked on October 13, 2026, showed a planned release date of October 29, 2026 and stated that the full game was not yet available. Treat that date as provisional and check the current Steam listing before downloading, because launch schedules and requirements can change.

Epic Seven is free to play and digitally distributed. Steam requires a STOVE third-party account, and the Steam edition supports controllers, although a controller is optional. You can play with keyboard and mouse if that is your preferred setup.
What account can you transfer?
Smilegate’s account-linking FAQ says an existing Epic Seven account that uses an email login or Simple Login (SNS) can be transferred to a Simple Login (Steam) account. The transfer is designed to move the established account into the Steam version rather than create a second, merged profile.

Accounts that qualify
- An Epic Seven account using an email login.
- An Epic Seven account using Simple Login (SNS).
Accounts that are not merged
If you launch Epic Seven through Steam and create a brand-new Simple Login (Steam) account, that new account and your older account cannot simply be combined. The official FAQ directs players to contact Customer Service and request deletion of the newly created Steam account first. Once that account has been deleted, you can transfer the established account.
Prepare before opening the Steam version
Doing the account work before you start the Steam client reduces the chance of accidentally creating an empty Steam profile. Keep access to the email address or social login used by your existing Epic Seven account, and have your account details available when following the official instructions.
- Confirm the release status. Open the current Epic Seven Steam listing and verify that the game is available in your region. The October 13 listing showed October 29, 2026 as the planned date and said the game was not yet available at that time.
- Check your Windows PC. Compare your computer with the minimum specifications listed below. These are the requirements shown on the Steam listing at the research date and should be rechecked after launch.
- Identify your existing login. Determine whether your current account uses an email login or Simple Login (SNS). Do not create a new Steam account as a substitute for the established one.
- Read the current transfer guide. Smilegate’s “FAQs Regarding Account Linking” points to the official STOVE account-transfer instructions. Follow the labels and screens shown in that guide; interface wording may change, and the exact button sequence is not reproduced here.
- Complete the transfer before starting a new Steam profile. The announcement says an eligible existing account can be transferred to a Steam Simple Login account at any time, without a separate application period.
How to transfer your existing Epic Seven account
The transfer is an account-linking operation handled through STOVE’s official instructions. Because the linked guide’s interface can be updated, use the current labels in the guide rather than relying on an old screenshot or a third-party walkthrough.
- Open Smilegate’s official “FAQs Regarding Account Linking” information and follow its link to the STOVE account-transfer guide.
- Sign in with the Epic Seven account you already use through email or Simple Login (SNS).
- Choose the transfer or account-linking option described in the current STOVE guide for moving an existing account to Simple Login (Steam).
- Authenticate the Steam account when the guide requests it. Use the Steam account that you intend to keep for Epic Seven.
- Review the account identity and confirmation information shown by STOVE before submitting. If it identifies a newly created empty Steam profile instead of the account you intend to move, stop and contact Customer Service rather than confirming the wrong account.
- Finish the confirmation steps in STOVE, then launch Epic Seven from Steam after the transfer is complete.
- Verify that your normal in-game profile, progression and inventory are present. Smilegate’s FAQ says transferred game data is retained, including unclaimed rewards, event items and ongoing Epic Pass progress.
The transfer does not require a separate application window. The announcement states that an eligible existing email or Simple Login account can be transferred at any time. “At any time” does not mean that a transfer can be reversed casually, so check the destination Steam account carefully before confirming.

What happens to your progress and rewards?
According to the Epic Seven Steam FAQ, the transfer retains the game progress and data attached to the existing account. The FAQ specifically includes unclaimed rewards, event items and progress in an ongoing Epic Pass. You should therefore transfer the account that contains your established heroes, equipment, currencies and event history rather than starting over with a fresh Steam login.
The same transferred account remains usable on STOVE PC and on mobile, so moving it to Steam does not restrict you to the Steam client. Steam becomes another linked way to access the account.
If you already made a new Steam account
Accidentally launching the game first can create a new Simple Login (Steam) account. The official route is administrative cleanup, not a merge.

- Contact Epic Seven Customer Service through the support route identified in the official FAQ.
- Request deletion of the new Simple Login (Steam) account and explain that you need to transfer an existing email or Simple Login (SNS) account.
- Wait for Customer Service to process the deletion request. Do not assume that signing out, uninstalling, or reinstalling removes the account.
- After the new account has been deleted, follow the official STOVE account-transfer guide for the established account.
Do not ask support to merge the two profiles: the FAQ describes deletion of the new Steam account before transfer, not a combination of inventories or progress. Preserve any support case number and follow the instructions support gives you.

Steam PC requirements
The following minimum Windows specifications were shown on the Steam listing checked on October 13, 2026. They are a reference for that listing, not a promise that every future update will perform identically. Recheck the listing after release.

These are minimum requirements, so leave additional free space for Steam’s installation process, patches and temporary files. A computer that only meets the minimum may offer less headroom during later updates than a system above the listed specification.
Installing and launching through Steam
Once the listing changes from unavailable to released, install Epic Seven from its official Steam store page using the Steam client. Steam will place the game in your selected library location; make sure that drive has at least the listed 10 GB available before beginning and more room for updates.

- Open Steam and sign in to the Steam account you selected for Epic Seven.
- Find the official Epic Seven store listing and confirm that it is the released game, not an unrelated result or a community item.
- Start the installation and select a library drive with sufficient free space.
- Allow Steam to finish downloading and validating the game files.
- Launch Epic Seven and complete the STOVE sign-in or linking prompts using the account transfer you prepared earlier.
- After reaching the game, check that the expected account data is present before spending currencies, claiming rewards or beginning new progression.
The Steam edition supports controllers, but no controller is required for account transfer or play. If you use a controller, connect and configure it through Steam or the game’s available input settings after the account is working.

Common problems and the correct response
The Steam listing still says the game is unavailable
The October 13, 2026 listing was not yet playable and displayed October 29, 2026 as a planned date. If the page still shows an upcoming release, you cannot complete the Steam installation yet. Check the listing again later rather than downloading an unofficial installer.
I cannot find the transfer option
Do not guess at an old menu path. Open the current STOVE account-transfer guide linked from Smilegate’s “FAQs Regarding Account Linking” and use its present labels. The guide’s screens may be revised between announcement and launch.
Steam opens an empty account
An empty profile usually means a new Simple Login (Steam) account was created instead of transferring the existing one. Stop there and contact Customer Service to request deletion of the new Steam account. The existing profile is transferred only after that deletion process, according to the FAQ.
My rewards or event items appear to be missing
Smilegate says those categories of data are retained in a successful transfer, including unclaimed rewards, event items and ongoing Epic Pass progress. First confirm that you signed into the intended Steam-linked account. If the expected data is still absent, contact Customer Service with the account and transfer details; do not create another profile while troubleshooting.

I want to use the account on mobile again
The FAQ says the transferred account can continue to be used on STOVE PC and mobile. Use the same established account credentials and avoid creating a separate new profile on another device.
My PC does not meet the listed requirements
The Steam listing’s minimum target is Windows 10 64-bit or higher, an Intel i5 or higher, 8 GB RAM, a GTX 1060 or higher, DirectX 11 and 10 GB of available storage. If your system falls below one of these specifications, upgrade or use a supported computer before troubleshooting account-linking behavior; account transfer cannot compensate for incompatible hardware or operating-system requirements.
Account-transfer checklist
- Steam shows the game as released in your region.
- You know whether your existing Epic Seven account uses email or Simple Login (SNS).
- You have access to the existing account and the destination Steam account.
- You have read the current STOVE transfer instructions linked by Smilegate.
- You have not created a disposable or test Steam Epic Seven profile.
- If a new Steam profile exists, you have requested its deletion through Customer Service before attempting transfer.
- Your Windows PC meets the listed minimum requirements.
- After transfer, you have checked progression, inventory, unclaimed rewards, event items and Epic Pass status.
Bottom line for Steam players
Wait for the official Steam release, prepare the STOVE transfer first, and connect your established email or Simple Login (SNS) account to a Simple Login (Steam) account through Smilegate’s current instructions. The FAQ says your progress and associated data stay intact, while a freshly created Steam profile must be deleted through Customer Service before the existing account can be transferred. Steam access is optional alongside STOVE PC and mobile, and controller support is available but not required.
