Where to find blackjack in GTA Online
Casino location
The Diamond Casino & Resort is in East Vinewood, Los Santos, on the corner of Vinewood Park Drive and Mirror Park Boulevard. Open the map, locate the casino icon, and set a waypoint before driving there. The blackjack tables are inside, in the gambling area toward the rear of the building rather than at the entrance or the main reception area.

Walking from the entrance to a table
- Enter The Diamond Casino & Resort.
- Follow the signs or interior route toward the gaming floor.
- Continue toward the back of the casino until you reach the table-game area.
- Look for a blackjack table with an interaction prompt.

Interior layouts and prompts can be adjusted by game updates, so use what the table currently displays as the final authority. Rockstar has previously corrected blackjack help text and an issue that could leave players stuck at a table.
Do you need a Casino Penthouse?
No Penthouse is stated to be necessary for ordinary public blackjack. The GTA Wiki describes standard casino membership as allowing access to public table games, including blackjack. Penthouse ownership matters for a different type of access: two high-limit areas and a private dealer that can be added to the Penthouse.

The distinction is important if you are deciding whether to buy property simply to unlock blackjack. The evidence supports Penthouse-related private and high-limit features, but not a claim that every visitor needs one to sit at a regular public table.
How a blackjack hand works
The objective is to finish with a hand total closer to 21 than the dealer without exceeding 21 yourself. The game presents the available actions at the table. A hand that goes above 21 is generally a bust and cannot beat the dealer; the table’s own wording and current implementation take precedence if a prompt differs.
Hit
Hit requests another card for your hand. Choose it when you want to increase your total and accept the risk of going over 21. The game then updates your total and presents the next available choice, if any.

Stand
Stand keeps your current cards and ends your turn. Once you stand, you do not draw further cards for that hand while the dealer completes the round.
Double
Double doubles the wager and gives you one more card, as described by the game reference. It is a larger commitment, so verify the revised wager on screen before accepting it. The precise situations in which the game offers this action are controlled by the table.

Split
Split is offered when your opening cards form a pair. It separates the pair into two hands, with each hand played independently. Because splitting creates an additional wager and another hand to manage, read the amount shown by the table before you confirm.
These four names are enough to understand the basic prompts, but they are not a complete official rulebook. The reviewed material does not establish every dealer rule, payout detail, card restriction, or current table limit. Do not assume a rule from a different blackjack game applies identically in GTA Online.
Step-by-step: playing your first public hand
1. Confirm that the table is available
Approach a public table in the rear gambling area and wait for the interaction prompt. If no prompt appears, try another seat or table and check whether the casino feature is available for your account and territory.
2. Inspect the wager before sitting down
Read the amount displayed by the table before you accept the seat. Current exact minimum and maximum wagers are not established in the available references, so rely on the number shown in your game rather than an old guide or a remembered limit.
3. Read your opening hand
Identify the cards and total shown by the interface. The dealer’s visible information and the actions currently offered provide the context for your decision. Do not press a button until you understand whether it will draw, hold, increase the wager, or create a second hand.

4. Choose an action
- Select Hit to request another card.
- Select Stand to keep the total and end your turn.
- Select Double only after checking the increased wager and the one-card result described by the prompt.
- Select Split only when offered and after checking the additional hand and wager displayed.
5. Let the round resolve
After you stand, bust, double, or complete split hands, the dealer’s side resolves and the game reports the result. Check the balance change and the next prompt before starting another hand.
6. Leave safely
Use the table’s leave or exit prompt when you are finished. If the character appears stuck, wait briefly for the interface to respond, then use the game’s normal exit control or move away from the table. Rockstar has documented a past blackjack issue involving players becoming stuck, so updating the game and reporting a repeatable problem is preferable to repeatedly forcing the application closed.
Public tables versus private Penthouse tables
The meaningful choice is access and setting, not a different stated objective. Public tables are located on the casino floor and are intended for ordinary casino members. A private Penthouse table is an optional property feature that requires both the Penthouse and a Private Dealer.
When public play is the sensible choice
- You only want to try blackjack without purchasing a Penthouse.
- You are comfortable using the casino’s shared gambling area.
- You want to observe the on-screen rules and wager before committing to a property purchase.
When the private option is relevant
- You already own a Casino Penthouse.
- You specifically want a private dealer rather than a public table.
- You want the additional private-table styles described in Rockstar’s later notes.
- You need access to Penthouse-owner high-limit areas, subject to the game’s current requirements.
A Penthouse does not remove regional or age-based eligibility restrictions. If casino gambling is blocked for your account, buying property should not be treated as a guaranteed fix.
What to do when blackjack is unavailable
Read the exact alert
Rockstar Support’s feature-availability guidance, updated June 17, 2026, says an unavailable-feature message can result from age or regional restrictions, gameplay design, or a temporary restriction. The wording of the alert is therefore more useful than assuming the problem is a missing Penthouse.

Check regional availability
Casino gambling is not enabled everywhere. A PC Gamer report dated July 29, 2026 described players in Australia being blocked from casino gambling, including blackjack. That report is region-specific and does not establish the status of every country or a permanent worldwide policy. Check the message shown by your own game and the rules that apply where you play.
Rule out a temporary or interface problem
- Leave the table and try another public blackjack table.
- Exit and relaunch GTA Online to clear a transient interface state.
- Make sure the game is fully updated, since Rockstar has issued fixes affecting blackjack help text and table lockups.
- Check whether other casino table games are also unavailable; a broader block points away from a single occupied table.
- If the same alert returns, record the wording and contact Rockstar Support rather than repeatedly buying property or changing unrelated settings.
Do not confuse access problems with wager problems
A table can be accessible while a particular action is unavailable. For example, the game may show hit and stand but not double or split for a given hand. That is a rule or hand-state decision, not proof that your account lacks casino access. Follow the actions currently displayed.

Use the prompt, not an old screenshot
Interface text and help explanations can change. Read the live action labels, the wager, and any confirmation screen every round. A video or guide made for an earlier update may omit a warning or describe a control that has moved.
Separate hand decisions from bankroll decisions
Decide in advance how much in-game currency you are willing to risk, then stop when you reach that boundary. Blackjack outcomes are chance-based; none of the reviewed references supports a guaranteed-profit method or a reliable way to eliminate losses.

Double and split alter your commitment. Before confirming either, check the revised amount and whether the game says you receive one card or two separate hands. This simple pause prevents an accidental wager increase caused by selecting the wrong prompt.

Do not invent a table limit
Exact current minimums and maximums are not established in the available material. Quote the amount shown at your table, not a fixed number copied from an older article, a different platform, or a different casino game.
