Embark names Steam, Xbox and PlayStation for this free-access event. Its general platform list also includes Epic Games Store and GeForce NOW, but those are not named in the event announcement, so do not assume the offer applies to them.
Choose one of the explicitly named platform families that you can access. The game’s official site describes cross-platform social play across PC, Xbox and PlayStation, so you can play with friends on those platform families.

How do you start playing?
- During the event window, open the official ARC Raiders listing in the store for Steam, Xbox or PlayStation.
- Follow that store’s install or play flow, then launch the game. Exact store buttons, preload availability and local availability are not specified in the event announcement.
- When prompted, create an Embark ID if you are a first-time player, or link your existing ID if you already have one.
Check your own store listing for availability in your territory and any platform-specific prompts. The event announcement does not establish regional eligibility or whether console subscriptions are required.
Do you need an Embark ID?
Yes. Embark’s Help Center says first-time players can create an ID during first launch, while returning players can link an existing one. The account stores progress and cosmetics and supports cross-progression and cross-platform play across Steam, Epic Games, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. The fact that Epic is supported for account features does not mean Epic is included in this particular free event.

Does the free event include the full game?
Yes. The ARC Raiders Team said the event grants access to the full game, describing it as a chance to try the extraction adventure before buying. The announcement does not say whether progress made during the event carries over after free access ends, so do not count on that unless Embark confirms it.
Can new players enter Pendola Pass?
The event coincides with the Frozen Trail update. Embark says new players can access Pendola Pass immediately if they team up with players who have already unlocked it. The announcement does not say that a new player can select the map immediately when playing alone.

- The exact store-page buttons or download steps, or whether preloading is possible.
- Whether console subscriptions are required.
