Confirm the payment method, tax-inclusive total, billing and renewal terms, refund policy, and plan suitability on the provider’s current checkout page before paying; these are provider claims, not independently tested checkout results. If by “accept UPI payments” you mean receiving tips from viewers, that is a separate payment flow.
First, decide which payment you mean
- Paying for the VPS: You are the customer. Choose a provider that currently offers UPI at checkout, then verify the invoice total and terms before completing payment.
- Receiving viewer tips: You are collecting customer payments. Use a payment service or merchant flow intended for that purpose, and check its eligibility, settlement, fees, and refund or dispute terms. Paying your VPS invoice with UPI does not set up viewer payments.
A VPS is an optional place to run streaming software or an RTMP relay; it is not a YouTube requirement. YouTube’s live-streaming guidance lists mobile, webcam, encoder, and console as ways to go live. It says channels must be verified and must not have had live-streaming restrictions in the previous 90 days. YouTube Help explains: “Encoders let you stream gameplay, overlays, and use hardware like preamps, mics, and cameras.”

VPS providers that advertise UPI
The following details come from provider pages and are subject to change. Check the current service page and checkout rather than treating these figures or payment methods as guaranteed.

How to pay a VPS invoice with UPI
- Choose the actual workload. Decide whether the server will run one encoder, relay a stream, or handle multiple destinations. If you need transcoding, account for its CPU and memory demands; do not assume a listed plan supports a particular resolution or frame rate without testing.
- Compare more than the headline price. Check CPU and RAM, transfer or bandwidth limits and definitions, latency to your encoder, operating-system and server-management responsibilities, support, billing cadence, taxes, renewal terms, and refund conditions.
- Open the provider’s current order or checkout page. Confirm that UPI is actually offered for your order and region. A provider’s marketing page listing UPI is not proof that every plan or checkout supports it.
- Review the amount and terms before authorizing payment. Check the tax-inclusive total, billing period, recurring renewal amount and date, cancellation process, and refund policy. For RupeeCloud, the pricing page says 18% GST is added at checkout; rely on the checkout’s final total for your order.
- Pay through the displayed UPI flow and retain the receipt. Use the provider’s own checkout instructions. Do not send money to a payment ID supplied through an unrelated message; if the checkout does not show UPI or the total differs from the advertised terms, contact the provider before paying.
- Configure the VPS and YouTube separately. Install and manage the encoder or relay only if your workflow requires it, then follow YouTube’s current Live Control Room setup. Keep the stream key private; anyone with access to it may be able to broadcast to your channel. A provider’s listed specs alone do not establish that the VPS can sustain a particular stream.
What to compare before choosing a streaming VPS
- Workload: A single encoded stream and a relay to several destinations are different jobs. Transcoding adds processing demand; forwarding an already encoded stream may have different requirements.
- Transfer and bandwidth: Clarify whether the stated bandwidth is a port speed, a transfer allowance, or an “unmetered” claim, and what fair-use or throttling terms apply.
- Latency and reliability needs: Consider the connection from your encoder to the server and onward to the streaming platform. Marketing claims about uptime or performance are not independent benchmarks.
- Administration: An unmanaged VPS generally leaves more setup, updates, security, and troubleshooting to you. Confirm what support covers.
- Total cost and exit terms: Compare tax-inclusive price, renewal cadence, cancellation, and refunds—not just the initial monthly figure.
If you meant collecting UPI tips from viewers
External UPI payment links
Razorpay documents UPI payment links as shareable URLs, but says this UPI-link type works only on Android. Its standard payment links support several methods, including UPI. See Razorpay’s payment-link documentation and confirm current availability, fees, settlement, and dispute terms directly with the provider. A payment link by itself does not create a stream alert or verify that a tip appeared on screen; do not promise an on-stream notification unless you have configured and tested a separate integration.

YouTube Gifts in India
The YouTube Team announced on 2026-07-07 that Gifts were launching in India. Its post says: “Eligible creators can enable gifts on their channel by visiting the Earn hub in Studio and following the steps to turn on gifts.” Eligibility and current availability should be checked in YouTube Studio. Gifts use Jewels purchased by viewers, while creators receive Rubies representing earnings. The announcement says enabling Gifts means Super Stickers are no longer available on live streams. This is YouTube’s native fan-funding feature, not an external UPI payment to you. See the YouTube Team’s India announcement.
