Wachete’s reviewed official help pages do not document how to pause an individual monitor in the web interface. If you want to stop checks temporarily, ask Wachete support at [email protected] for the current procedure rather than deleting the monitor. To delete a monitor, Wachete documents an API operation; its FAQ also explains how to recover monitors deleted by accident. Cancelling a subscription is a separate account action.
Pause a monitor: confirm the current control with Wachete
A pause usually means suspending checks while keeping the monitor so you can resume it later. The official FAQ and REST API documentation reviewed here do not establish a web-interface procedure for pausing or temporarily disabling one Wachete monitor. No safe menu path can be given on that evidence.

Check the current Wachete interface or contact [email protected] and ask how to suspend a single monitor without deleting it. Wachete describes its monitoring as running on its own servers, so your computer or phone does not need to remain online for monitoring to operate; that does not provide a pause control.

Delete a monitor through the documented API
Wachete’s REST API documents deletion of a task using its monitor ID:

DELETE /thirdparty/v1/task/{ID_OF_YOUR_WACHET}
The API documentation describes token-based authorization. Consult Wachete’s REST API documentation for the required authorization details and request format before sending the request. Replace the path placeholder with the ID of the monitor you intend to delete. This is an API operation, not a documented web-interface click path, and it deletes the task rather than temporarily pausing it.
Recover a monitor deleted by accident
Wachete’s FAQ says accidentally deleted monitors or folders can be recovered. To restore one:

- Open Profile.
- Go to Account.
- Find the deleted-monitor recovery section.
- Choose a recovery period and restore the monitors.
The FAQ does not specify a retention period, so do not assume a deleted monitor will remain recoverable indefinitely. See the Wachete FAQ for the current account instructions.
Cancel a subscription only if you mean to stop billing
Subscription cancellation affects the subscription, not just one monitor. Wachete’s FAQ directs users to Profile > My Subscriptions, then to click Cancel on the relevant subscription. Use this only when you intend to cancel that subscription; it is not a documented way to pause or delete an individual monitor.
