To pair TaoTronics SoundLiberty earbuds, take them out of the charging case, let them enter pairing mode, then select the earbuds in your phone or computer’s Bluetooth settings. The exact device name, indicator lights and reset method vary by model, so check the model printed on the case or its manual before trying a reset.
Before you start: identify your SoundLiberty model
SoundLiberty is a product family, not one universal pairing interface. TaoTronics’ general wireless-earbud guide describes a common process, but it does not establish that every model uses the same Bluetooth name, light pattern or reset controls. Find the model number on the charging case or in the manual if the earbuds do not behave as described below.

Pair the earbuds with a device
- Remove the earbuds from the charging case. TaoTronics says its wireless earbuds power on automatically when taken out of the case.
- Allow the two earbuds to connect to each other. In TaoTronics’ general guide, an alternating blue-and-white light on the left earbud indicates pairing mode. Treat this as a general guide rather than a guarantee for every SoundLiberty model.
- Open Bluetooth settings on the phone, tablet or computer. Turn Bluetooth on and scan for nearby devices. Select the TaoTronics earbuds entry that appears. The displayed name can differ by model; consult that model’s manual if you are unsure which entry is yours.
- Complete any on-screen prompt. Once selected, the host device should finish pairing and connect to the earbuds.
Connect from Android
Google’s Android Bluetooth instructions give this general path:

- Swipe down from the top of the screen and touch and hold Bluetooth.
- Turn Bluetooth on if needed, then choose Pair new device or select the earbuds from the available devices.
- Tap the TaoTronics earbuds entry and follow any onscreen steps.
Some menu labels or steps vary with Android version and device hardware.

Connect from Windows
Microsoft documents pairing through Bluetooth settings or quick settings on Windows 10 and Windows 11. First make sure the earbuds are powered on and discoverable, then select them from the computer’s Bluetooth device list.

TaoTronics’ general guide says to remove one earbud from the case while leaving the other inside to use a single earbud. To return to two-earbud use, put both earbuds in the case and take them out again.

Pair with a different phone or computer
A previously paired host may reconnect to the earbuds before the new one can. TaoTronics advises turning Bluetooth off on the old phone or computer, or removing the earbuds from that device’s saved Bluetooth list, before pairing with another host.

If the earbuds do not appear or connect
- Confirm discoverability. Take the earbuds out of the case and allow time for them to enter pairing mode. Check the model manual for its specific pairing indicator.
- Check the previously paired device. Disable Bluetooth on that host or remove its saved earbud entry so it does not connect first.
- Verify the device name. The Bluetooth entry is not guaranteed to be identical across SoundLiberty models; use the model-specific manual if several nearby devices appear.
- Use a reset only after identifying the model. TaoTronics’ general guide describes taking the earbuds out, putting them back in the case, then holding both multifunction touch controls for 10 seconds until the LEDs flash three times. Afterward, remove both earbuds and pair again. Because SoundLiberty controls and reset timing can differ—and some models use a case reset button—confirm that this sequence applies to your exact model before trying it.
