To pair OPPO Enco earbuds, put the earbuds in discovery mode, switch on Bluetooth on the phone or computer, and select the Enco name that appears. The button or touch gesture is model-specific: for example, OPPO Enco W31 uses the open case and Function button, while Enco Air4 Pro uses a two-second Function-button hold. If the earbuds do not appear, stop Bluetooth on the device that used them previously, remove the saved pairing, and reset the earbuds using the instructions for your exact model.
What you need before pairing
Pairing is the one-time process that lets a phone or computer remember the earbuds. A powered-on earbud is not necessarily discoverable; it must be placed in Bluetooth discovery mode. Keep both earbuds in their charging case until the model-specific pairing step, and charge the case and earbuds sufficiently to keep the process from interrupting.

- Identify the exact model name printed on the case, packaging, or the old Bluetooth entry. Enco controls and reset timing differ between models.
- Keep the earbuds close to the phone or computer. Apple specifies about 10 metres (33 feet) as the normal Bluetooth distance for iPhone pairing.
- Temporarily turn Bluetooth off on the phone, tablet, or computer that was paired most recently. Otherwise that device may reconnect immediately and hide the earbuds from the new host.
- Make sure the host device has Bluetooth hardware enabled. A Windows desktop without built-in Bluetooth needs a USB Bluetooth adapter.
Pairing controls vary by Enco model
Do not apply a button-hold duration from one Enco model to another. OPPO’s support documentation uses different procedures for different families, including case-button resets, simultaneous touch holds, and separate gestures for entering pairing mode. Use the model-specific instructions below when they are available, then use the model’s support instructions for any reset not described here.
OPPO Enco W31
- Put both earbuds in the open charging case.
- Hold the case’s Function button until the indicator starts blinking.
- On the new phone or computer, open Bluetooth settings and select OPPO Enco W31.
A blinking indicator means the W31 is available for a new pairing. The case-button reset procedure is separate; use OPPO’s W31 instructions rather than guessing a hold time.

OPPO Enco Air4 Pro
- Open the charging case with the earbuds inside.
- Hold the Function button for two seconds, until the white indicator flashes.
- Open Bluetooth on the host device and select OPPO Enco Air4 Pro.
The two-second hold above puts Air4 Pro into discovery mode. It should not be treated as a universal reset instruction for every Enco model.

How to pair OPPO Enco with Android
1. Put the earbuds into discovery mode
Use the procedure for your model. For W31, leave the earbuds in the open case and hold the Function button until the indicator blinks. For Air4 Pro, open the case and hold Function for two seconds until the white light flashes. If your model uses a touch control or a different case button, follow that model’s OPPO instructions rather than copying either example.
2. Open Android Bluetooth settings
- Open Settings.
- Open Bluetooth; on some Android versions it is inside Connected devices.
- Turn Bluetooth on and remain on the screen that lists available devices.
3. Select the Enco name
Tap the exact Enco model when it appears in the available-device list. Accept a pairing request if Android displays one. A PIN is unusual for modern earbuds, but a host can request one; use the code shown by the earbuds’ documentation rather than entering a random number.

Android should move the earbuds to Paired or Connected devices. Close and reopen the case once if the status does not refresh, then check that both earbuds are seated and charging. Do not start a reset while Android still shows an active connection; first disconnect or remove the old entry.

Optional: use HeyMelody
On supported non-OPPO Android phones, HeyMelody can add configuration features and firmware updates after the Bluetooth connection is established. OPPO’s Air4 Pro information specifies Android 7.0 or later for the app. The app is optional: basic Bluetooth audio pairing does not require it.
How to connect OPPO Enco to an iPhone
1. Make the Enco discoverable
Open the case and use the correct model gesture. W31 uses a blinking indicator after a Function-button hold; Air4 Pro uses a two-second Function-button hold until its white indicator flashes. Keep the case near the iPhone while the light is flashing.
2. Use the iPhone Bluetooth menu
- Open Settings on the iPhone.
- Tap Bluetooth and switch Bluetooth on.
- Wait under Other Devices, then tap the Enco model name.
Apple advises keeping the iPhone within approximately 10 metres (33 feet) of the accessory. Walls, bodies, and other wireless equipment can reduce the usable distance, so perform the first pairing nearby.
3. Handle a passcode or an old record
If iOS asks for a PIN or passcode, follow the code supplied for that Enco model. If the model is listed under My Devices but will not connect, tap the information button beside it, choose Forget This Device, confirm, and repeat the discovery-mode procedure before searching again.

How to pair OPPO Enco with Windows 11
1. Turn on Bluetooth
Open Settings > Bluetooth & devices and switch Bluetooth on. You can also open Quick Settings from the taskbar and enable Bluetooth there. If Bluetooth controls are absent, the PC may lack a Bluetooth radio; connect a compatible USB Bluetooth adapter and install its driver as directed by the adapter manufacturer.
2. Put Enco into discoverable mode
Use the exact case-button or touch procedure for the model. The earbuds must be discoverable, not merely powered on. Keep the case open and close to the PC while its indicator signals pairing mode.
3. Add the earbuds
- In Settings > Bluetooth & devices, choose Add device.
- Choose Bluetooth.
- Under New devices, select the OPPO Enco model.
- Complete any confirmation prompt and wait for Windows to show Connected.
After the first successful pairing, Windows can reconnect automatically when the earbuds are switched on and within range. If Windows connects but plays sound through the laptop speakers, open the system sound output selector and choose the connected Enco device.
How to pair OPPO Enco with Windows 10
Windows 10 support ended on October 14, 2025, but the Bluetooth menu remains available on installed systems. For security and driver support, move to a supported Windows release when practical.

- Open Settings > Devices > Bluetooth & other devices.
- Turn Bluetooth on.
- Choose Add Bluetooth or other device.
- Select Bluetooth.
- Put the Enco earbuds into discovery mode, then select their model name from the list.
- Accept the pairing prompt and wait for the device to appear as connected.
For a desktop without built-in Bluetooth, add a USB Bluetooth adapter before beginning. If the adapter is not detected, install its Windows driver and restart Bluetooth before trying the add-device flow again.

Work through these checks in order. Each one addresses a different reason an Enco can be powered on but invisible to the new host.
Check the indicator and battery
Charge the case and earbuds, then repeat the model-specific discovery gesture. A steady light or an earbud that simply plays its startup tone may indicate normal operation rather than pairing mode. The host can list the Enco only while the earbuds are advertising themselves.

Turn Bluetooth off on the old phone or computer, or move that device out of range. If it reconnects first, the Enco may stop advertising to the new host. On the new host, remove any incomplete or stale Enco record before searching again.

Delete and re-add the saved device
On iPhone, use the information button beside the old device and choose Forget This Device. On Windows, remove the Enco entry from Bluetooth settings, then use Add device again. On Android, open the saved-device entry, choose to forget or unpair it, and restart discovery mode.
Reduce distance and interference
Place the open case within a short distance of the phone or PC during setup. Microsoft recommends moving a Bluetooth device closer when the signal is unstable. Complete the first pairing away from crowded wireless equipment, then test normal listening distance after the connection is saved.
Reset only with the exact model procedure
OPPO documents different reset methods. Several case-based models use a 15-second Function-button hold; some models require holding both touch surfaces at the same time; W31 uses a case-button reset. These are not interchangeable instructions. Find the procedure for the model printed on your case, perform the reset, and then repeat the discovery and host-device steps.

Escalate after reset and re-pairing
If a fully charged Enco still never appears after the correct reset, with nearby Bluetooth enabled and old pairings removed, contact OPPO support. At that point a hardware fault, case button problem, or radio issue is possible, and repeating the same pairing attempt is unlikely to help.
