YouTube supports looping a playlist, but that is not a guarantee of uninterrupted playback indefinitely: playback still depends on the account, device, connection, power, and YouTube’s behavior.
1. Organize the source files before uploading
Your computer’s folders and your YouTube playlist solve different problems: folders help you find and preserve the original files; the playlist controls the order viewers watch uploaded videos.

Use a structure that makes sense later
For a modest collection, use a consistent folder scheme, such as singer or group, then bhajan title or event. Add language or recording date where those details help distinguish versions. These are practical examples, not an official YouTube taxonomy. Use descriptive filenames, and avoid altering original files if preserving them matters. A simple index can record details that do not fit neatly in the filename. The U.S. National Archives recommends consistent directory structures that are understandable to both the organizer and unfamiliar users: guidance on organizing digital files.

The National Archives notes that management systems can help with retrieval, cataloguing, export, and transcoding at larger volumes.

Keep a separate backup
Do not make a YouTube upload the only copy of an important recording. The Library of Congress recommends keeping another copy of selected personal videos on separate media; examples include portable hard drives, thumb drives, optical discs, and internet storage. A backup drive is one option, not a YouTube requirement. See the Library of Congress video-preservation guidance.
2. Create the playlist in YouTube Studio
- Open YouTube Studio and select Create, then New playlist.
- Enter a title and description. YouTube’s playlist-management page documents a 150-character title limit and a 5,000-character description limit; the interface may change. See YouTube Studio playlist management.
- Choose the visibility setting that fits how you intend to share the playlist.
- Add the uploaded bhajan videos, set their order, and select Create.
3. Choose who can find the playlist
Set visibility based on the audience, not on whether you want repeat playback. You can change a playlist’s visibility later.

| Public | You want the playlist available for broad discovery. |
| Private | You want it restricted to the owner. YouTube’s playlist guidance says private playlists are viewable only by the owner. |
| Unlisted | You want to share the playlist by link rather than make it broadly discoverable. |

Manage the playlist in Studio or on YouTube, then drag and drop entries into the sequence you want. For a devotional session, one possible editorial arrangement is an opening bhajan, familiar favorites, quieter songs, and closing bhajans. YouTube does not require that structure; choose an order that suits the occasion and listeners.

5. Turn on playlist repeat
YouTube calls the control Loop on a computer and uses Repeat in some TV and console playback controls. Its help page documents repeat controls for computer, mobile, TV, and gaming-console interfaces: Loop videos or playlists.
- Computer: Open a video in the playlist, expand the playlist box, and click Loop.
- TV or gaming console: Select the playlist, open playback controls, and choose Repeat until playlist repeat is indicated.
- Mobile: Open the playlist’s playback controls and enable repeat for the playlist, rather than repeat for a single video. The control’s position can vary by app version.
Repeat means YouTube can play the playlist again while playback continues. It is not an uptime promise. Keep the playback device powered, connected, and signed into an account that can access the videos; platform or device behavior can still interrupt playback.

6. Use a series playlist only for a formal series
A series playlist is an official set of videos intended to be watched together, not a special setting needed for ordinary bhajan mixes. YouTube requires a verified account; the playlist can contain only videos uploaded by its owner for which the owner has rights; and each video can be in only one series playlist. See YouTube’s series-playlist rules.

7. Check rights before uploading
YouTube’s upload guidance says you must have the rights or necessary licences for content you upload. A devotional or traditional song is not automatically free to publish: the recording, performance, arrangement, and video may each involve separate rights. YouTube’s automated copyright checks can flag issues, but a clean check is not a final determination; claims or strikes may arise later. Review YouTube’s upload guidance and make sure you are entitled to upload each recording.
