Build a consistent screenshot log
- Choose one exact listing. Record the product name, brand, variant, and pack size. A different flavor, quantity, or package is a different item for comparison.
- Keep the observation context steady. Use the same delivery location and account context for each capture where possible. The reviewed sources do not establish that listings or prices are identical across locations.
- Capture at planned times. For a small number of products, take a screenshot manually at the intervals you care about—for example, once a day or before a planned shop. These are your chosen observation times, not a Zepto-provided schedule.
- Save the whole relevant screen. Include the product identity and displayed price, and preserve any visible discount or crossed-out price. Note whether the listing appeared available.
- Log the observation. Use a dated folder or a spreadsheet with columns for date and time, location/account context, product and pack size, displayed price, displayed discount or crossed-out price, availability, and screenshot filename.
- Compare like with like. Do not treat another size, variant, promotion, or unavailable listing as a directly comparable observation. A gap in your log means you did not observe the listing then; it does not show what happened between captures.
- Verify before checkout. Reopen Zepto and check the displayed price before placing an order, as its terms advise that prices may vary and may be modified over time. Zepto consumer terms
Choose manual capture or a third-party tracker
For a few products, a manual dated log is straightforward and makes clear exactly which locations and times you observed. Its trade-off is that you must remember to capture each observation, and it covers only those observations.

- Whether it currently supports the exact Zepto listings and your location.
- How often it captures, and whether the schedule can match your needs.
- Whether it retains screenshots or price records and lets you export them.
- Its operating cost and the basis on which it accesses Zepto.
- Whether the provider can substantiate its authorization, reliability, and coverage claims.
The public tracker project is not proof of any of those capabilities. The reviewed official consumer materials also do not resolve whether Zepto supports a consumer API or permits scheduled automated collection. Common pitfalls and fixes
- The prices in your log seem inconsistent: check that product, variant, pack size, location, and account context match. Record promotions separately rather than treating a changed discount as a change in the underlying item.
- A listing is missing or unavailable: record it as unavailable or not observed instead of inventing a price or comparing it with a different product.
- A screenshot lacks enough context: capture the product name and size alongside the price, then add the date, time, location context, and filename to your log.
- You missed a scheduled observation: leave the gap visible. A later screenshot cannot establish the price during the missed period.
- A tracker makes broad coverage or authorization claims: ask for current evidence specific to Zepto and your location; the existence of a public project alone verifies neither.
