To track prices across currencies, capture each product page in its intended market on a consistent schedule, then save the screenshot alongside the original displayed price, currency, market, URL, and capture time. Keep converted values in separate fields. The screenshot preserves context such as sale badges and availability; it records what the configured capture rendered, not a price guaranteed to every shopper.
Build a comparable record for every capture
A price without its market and capture context can be misleading. For each observation, save the following together:

- Product identity: product name or SKU and the product-page URL.
- Market context: target country and, where relevant, the page language and browser locale or other settings used for the capture.
- Capture time: a timestamp, preferably stored consistently with a time zone.
- Displayed offer: the original amount and currency as separate fields, availability, and visible promotion details such as a sale badge or crossed-out price.
- Evidence: the screenshot associated with that exact observation.
Keep the local amount as displayed. If you need a common comparison currency, add a separate converted-value field and record the exchange-rate source and timestamp used. Conversion is derived data; it should not replace the amount shown on the page.

Choose the pages and market settings
Start with stable product-page URLs, then determine how each store selects a market: it may use a country-specific URL, a location setting, cookies, or another locale signal. Use the intended country and language context consistently. Check the resulting page before scheduling captures: redirects, region selectors, or a remembered preference can leave the browser in a different market than expected.

Choose a schedule and preserve the visual history
Capture each page at a regular interval that suits how often its prices change. Save dated screenshots rather than overwriting the previous image, and retain the capture settings with each record. A history is only useful if you can tell which market and page produced each image.

Review changes with both the fields and the image
Structured fields make it easier to sort and chart amounts, currencies, and availability. The screenshot lets you inspect surrounding context, including promotions and crossed-out prices that a single extracted number may omit. If an extracted value looks unexpected, inspect the image and the page context before treating it as a price change.
Use screenshots as evidence, not a universal price guarantee
A screenshot records the rendering produced by a particular capture under its configured market and browser settings. It does not establish that every shopper saw the same offer, or that the seller would honor it under different conditions. Location, account state, eligibility, stock, and promotion terms may affect what a visitor sees. Preserve the context that you configured, and avoid presenting an observation as a universal or guaranteed price.
