To monitor several Indian job listings with Wachete, create a separate monitor for each search-results or careers-page URL, select the part of the page containing the listings, and configure a checking frequency and alert channel. Give each monitor a clear name and verify its first captured content so you can tell which source changed and whether the change is relevant.
Choose the pages you want to watch
Start with the exact results-page or employer careers-page URL for each source. If a search uses filters for role, city, experience, or category, keep the URL parameters that define those filters. Reopen each URL in a browser to confirm it still shows the intended results; not every job portal preserves a search reliably in its address.

For a focused job search, separate monitors are usually easier to manage than crawling from a broad landing page: each monitor has a known target, and its name can identify the employer or search. Wachete’s homepage specifically describes catching new jobs posted on careers pages, and its FAQ explains creating a monitor by entering a URL, choosing a frequency, and selecting notifications (Wachete FAQ; Wachete homepage).
Create and configure one monitor per page
- Open Wachete and click “Create new monitor.”
- Choose “Single page or part of it, password protected page or media file.” Enter the exact results or careers-page URL, including any search parameters you confirmed.
- Select the content to monitor. Choose the results section, or the whole page if a useful listing area cannot be isolated. Where the page provides them, useful details might include job titles, locations, posting dates, or a result count; these fields are not guaranteed to appear consistently on every site.
- Set the monitoring frequency and notification type. Choose a cadence and a channel you will check. Wachete documents notifications based on page changes or selected conditions, and its feature page lists email, phone/app, chat, daily or weekly summaries, and RSS feeds per monitor.
- Name and organize the monitor. A pattern such as
Employer – role – citymakes alerts easier to identify. Use folders to group monitors by employer, sector, or source. - Review the initial capture and the first alert. Confirm that the preview contains the actual listings rather than navigation, a consent dialog, or a loading shell. When an alert arrives, inspect the change before treating it as a new vacancy: job pages can change for reasons unrelated to a newly posted role.
- Repeat for every target URL. Wachete says monitoring runs on its servers, so your computer or phone does not need to stay on.

Make sure dynamic listings are actually captured
Some job pages fill their results after the initial page load. Wachete says it supports modern dynamic sites, and its API documentation includes a dynamic-content setting. That general capability does not guarantee that a particular Indian portal, search URL, login flow, or access control will work.
- Inspect the captured preview for each URL. A page shell without job results is not a successful monitor for your purpose.
- If results are missing, check that the URL opens to the intended search when loaded afresh and that its filters persist.
- Try the dynamic-content option where available, then review a new capture rather than assuming the setting fixed the issue.
- Confirm that the selected section remains stable as listings change; if it does not, monitor a broader area and expect more unrelated changes.
Choose separate monitors or a portal crawl
Use individual monitors when you already know the results and careers pages you want. A crawl is more appropriate when you need Wachete to discover linked pages beneath a root page. Wachete documents Portal crawling, URL filters, and crawl depths of one, two, or three levels in its REST API documentation; its FAQ describes following linked pages to level three.

Reduce noise and keep useful records
Pick one notification channel that fits your routine, then validate that a real change reaches it. Wachete offers visual change previews, and its FAQ describes ways to ignore selected error notifications. RSS is another documented option if you prefer to follow monitor feeds in a reader.

Wachete’s current feature page states that it keeps up to 12 months of history and that numeric charts can go back up to five years. The page shows no publication year for those figures, so check current plan details and retention terms before depending on them (Wachete Features).
Troubleshoot missing or irrelevant alerts
- The captured page has no listings: Reopen the full URL and check whether the search filters remain in place. Review the capture for delayed content and try the dynamic-content setting if available.
- The monitor tracks unrelated changes: Edit the monitored area to focus on the results section, or the fields that matter where they are present. If the listing markup changes often, a broader section may be necessary, but it can produce more alerts.
- Alerts do not arrive: Check the selected notification channel and its configuration, then confirm the monitor is set to notify for the kind of change you expect. Test with a change you can verify rather than assuming no alert means no listing changed.
- A crawl contains too many pages: Use URL filters, reduce the crawl depth, or switch to explicit page URLs. Wachete documents levels one through three; its FAQ warns that crawling can discover several hundred pages.
- A portal blocks or changes what the monitor can see: Confirm the portal’s current terms and access requirements. The fact that Wachete supports dynamic pages generally does not establish compatibility with a specific portal or its anti-bot controls.
Check portal access and terms before relying on a monitor
No specific Indian job portal is established here as compatible with Wachete, and no portal-specific terms or access rules are established. Do not assume that a named service permits automated monitoring. Review the portal’s current terms, verify that Wachete captures the intended listings, and treat alerts as a prompt to check the original posting rather than as a guaranteed complete feed.
