Treat any alert only as a prompt to check the bank’s official page: an alert does not authenticate a notice or guarantee that every change was detected.
Find the right official bank page
- Open a trusted route. Reach the bank’s site through its official app or a web address you have previously verified. Confirm the current official address before saving it; bank sites can migrate.
- Look for notice pages. Check labels such as “Public Notices,” “Notifications,” “What’s New,” or “Maintenance.” A bank may publish customer notices and service updates on separate pages.
- Choose the page that matches your concern. For scheduled downtime, prioritize a maintenance or service-update page. A broader public-notice page may also contain KYC, charges, URL, and other customer notices. Central Bank of India’s public-notices page is an example of this wider mix: Central Bank of India Public Notices.
- Save the specific page or section. If the monitor supports selecting part of a page, select the notice list or maintenance area instead of unrelated homepage content. Federal Bank’s maintenance and notifications pages illustrate how service-impact information may be organized across pages: Federal Bank maintenance and Federal Bank notifications.
These bank pages are examples, not a template every bank follows. Some notices can appear in more than one place, so check the bank’s current site navigation if you do not find a dedicated maintenance page.

Why verify the bank’s domain before monitoring
RBI’s April 22, 2025 circular, “Migration to ‘.bank.in’ domain”, directed banks to begin migrating to the .bank.in domain and complete the migration by October 31, 2025. RBI cited efforts to combat fraud in digital payments, strengthen cybersecurity, and enhance public confidence. The circular is a reason to check your bank’s current address, not a guarantee that every page or domain you encounter is genuine or up to date. Follow the bank’s own app or another trusted route to confirm its address.
Set up a page-change alert
- Add the official page. Paste the verified notice-page URL into a monitoring tool, or use the tool’s browser extension if that is how you prefer to set it up.
- Select the relevant area when possible. A notice list or service-impact table is usually more useful to monitor than a whole page that may change for unrelated reasons.
- Choose a schedule and alert method. Pick a checking frequency and notification channel that fit how quickly you need to know. Check current tool limits and plan details; they can change.
- Review the change evidence. Prefer alerts that show what changed, such as a before-and-after comparison, so you can quickly find a changed date, service, or notice.
- Confirm every important alert on the bank site. Open the official page directly, read the notice date and affected services, and confirm the scheduled window before changing a payment or other transaction plan.
A page monitor detects page changes; it does not verify that a notice is genuine, establish whether it applies to your account, or guarantee detection on every site.

Choose local or cloud monitoring
Monitoring services differ in where checks run and how they let you inspect changes. Distill documents both local monitors, which run on your device, and cloud monitors, which run on its servers. A local check depends on your device being available; a cloud check runs remotely. Compare the current availability of check schedules, alert channels, usage limits, and selected-area monitoring before relying on either approach. See Distill and its local and cloud monitor documentation.
Visualping says users can monitor an entire webpage or a selected element, choose a schedule, and receive alerts with before-and-after comparisons. That selected-area option can be useful when other page content changes frequently. See Visualping’s setup instructions. Features and limits can change; check each service’s current terms. Neither service’s documentation establishes that it will detect every change on every bank site.

What to do when an alert arrives
- Navigate to the bank through your trusted route rather than relying only on an alert link.
- Find the changed notice on the official page and check its publication date, affected services or channels, and start and end times.
- Check the bank’s other notice or notification pages if the alert is ambiguous or the relevant service information is missing.
- Use the bank’s official support channel if the notice conflicts with other information or leaves the impact unclear.
For example, Federal Bank’s maintenance notices show why affected services and scheduled windows matter; a change to a page is not, by itself, enough to determine whether a particular service will be unavailable to you.
Do these 3 things before closing this tab:
1Clear out junk files and repair common Windows errors2Scan for outdated or missing drivers - takes under a minute3Repair Windows errors before they cause bigger problemsCommon problems and practical fixes
- The monitor tracks lots of unrelated changes: switch from the whole page to the specific notice list or maintenance section, if the tool supports selecting an area.
- You cannot find a maintenance page: check the bank’s public notices, notifications, and “What’s New” areas. Service updates may be split across them.
- The alert shows a changed date but no clear impact: open the current official notice and look for affected services, channels, and the complete maintenance window; contact the bank if it remains unclear.
- The saved page redirects or stops loading: revisit the bank through its official app or another trusted route, verify the current address, and update the monitor only after confirming the new page.
- No alert arrives: check whether the monitor is active, its last successful check, schedule, device availability for local monitoring, and current plan limits. The absence of an alert does not prove that no notice changed.

ScreenshotNeo is a website screenshot API and MCP server. A screenshot can help you inspect a saved public notice page, but it is not a change-alert service: you still need a monitoring schedule and must verify notices on the bank’s official site. ScreenshotNeo’s API can return a screenshot in one GET request. See the ScreenshotNeo documentation.
