To catch new openings, monitor the employer’s official careers page on a schedule, focus the monitor on the job-listing area where possible, and review before-and-after screenshots when it sends an alert. Then confirm the role and application status on the employer’s own listing before applying. The right URL and settings depend on the company’s page; this guide covers a general workflow rather than a particular employer.
Choose the page that actually lists the jobs
Start at the company’s official website and find its careers page. If that page links to a separate recruitment portal, or listings appear only after choosing a location, department, or tab, monitor the page that displays the relevant results. A general careers landing page may not change when a separate job board receives a new posting.

- Open the employer’s official careers page.
- Navigate to the listings you want to track, including any relevant location or job-category filters.
- Copy the URL of the page showing those results. If the selected results are not represented by a stable URL, note the page state you need the monitor to reach.
No specific Indian employer’s website is covered here, so selectors and page behavior must be checked on the target site.
Set up a monitor and focus it on the listings
A page-monitoring service checks a page on a schedule, compares it with an earlier version, and can notify you about qualifying changes. - Create a monitor with the careers or job-results URL. Visualping’s setup guide describes starting with a URL and configuring change alerts (Visualping setup guide).
- If the tool permits it, select the job-listing region or its containing section instead of the entire page. This can reduce alerts from unrelated content, provided the selection reliably includes the listings.
- If you cannot isolate the listings, start with the whole page. Review the first alerts and refine the monitored region or switch to a more specific results URL if unrelated changes dominate.
- Choose a check schedule that suits how quickly you want to learn about changes and the service’s available settings. There is no universally best interval established for every employer site.

- Choose how to receive notifications in the service’s current settings, then save the monitor.

- Open the alert and inspect the comparison to see whether a job title or listing area appears to have changed.
- Open the employer’s original posting, not just the alert image.
- Confirm the role title, location, requirements, posting state, and application link on the employer’s page before acting.
Pages can change for reasons other than new jobs, including dynamic page elements. A region selection and alert criteria may reduce noise, but review early alerts to see whether the setup is capturing the intended content.

Troubleshoot missed or noisy alerts
- No alert when a job appears: Check whether the monitor uses the page that actually shows the results, whether the selected region contains the listing, and whether the chosen schedule has run. If listings require a filter or tab, configure the monitor for the relevant page state.
- Too many alerts: Inspect what changed in the comparison. Try selecting only the listing section or using available change criteria; if the page has no reliable selectable region, consider a more specific listing URL.
- The screenshot does not show the jobs: The monitor may be capturing a landing page rather than the results page, or the listings may appear only after interaction. Revisit the employer page, identify the state that displays the jobs, and use a monitor that can capture it.
- Local checks stop while you are away: For Visualping’s local Chrome-extension mode, Chrome must remain open. Use a cloud mode if you need checks to continue with the computer off.
- A listing in the alert is no longer available: The screenshot records a page change at capture time; it does not guarantee current availability. Reopen the employer’s original posting and verify its application status.
