To make a useful screenshot, capture the product and marketplace alongside the chart, its legend, date range, and the exact offer type and threshold you are watching. A screenshot records what was displayed at that moment; it does not guarantee the price will remain available.
What Keepa can track
Keepa’s browser extensions add an interactive price-history chart to supported Amazon product pages. Its mobile app also provides historical price graphs and alerts. Keepa’s Chrome Web Store listing describes price watches for products that fall below a target or return to stock; the exact controls and availability can vary by platform and may change.

Set up a Keepa price watch
- Open the right Amazon listing. Go to the product on the marketplace where you intend to buy it. Check that the product and locale are correct before relying on its price history.
- Open the Keepa chart. With the browser extension installed, open or scroll to the embedded chart on the product page. In the mobile app, open the product’s price-history graph.
- Inspect the relevant price series. A third-party walkthrough describes separate series for Amazon’s own price, the Buy Box, the lowest new third-party offer, and the lowest used offer. Check the chart legend and select a threshold based on the kind of offer you actually want; an attractive used price is not the same as a new item sold by Amazon.
- Open the tracking control and set the watch. The walkthrough’s sequence is to choose a target price, new or used condition, Amazon or third-party seller scope, and tracking duration, then start tracking. Exact labels and choices can differ by client, so follow the controls shown in your current Keepa interface.
- Choose a notification channel. The Firefox listing names email, Facebook Messenger, Twitter/X, Telegram, RSS, and mobile push. Keepa’s mobile listing describes price-drop and back-in-stock alerts. Available channels and settings depend on the current client and account; check your own notification settings after creating the watch.
Keepa’s app listing also describes additional chart data such as sales rank, Buy Box history, and offer counts. Keep the watch focused on the series and conditions that match your buying decision.

Capture a screenshot that explains the watch
Before capturing, adjust the chart so the relevant price line and the period you used to choose your target are visible. Include enough page context to identify the product and marketplace, and leave the chart legend readable. If the tracking setup itself is visible, make sure the screenshot shows the chosen seller scope, condition, and threshold.
- Keep the product name or other identifying product context in frame.
- Show the Amazon marketplace or locale and the chart’s visible date range.
- Keep the relevant series and legend visible; do not crop away the distinction between Amazon, Buy Box, third-party, new, or used offers.
- Include the chosen threshold or watch settings if the screenshot is meant to document the alert setup.
- Record when you captured it if the screenshot may be shared later, and redact account details or other private information.
These details make the image easier to interpret. They do not turn it into a guarantee of future pricing or availability: a screenshot shows the page at capture time.

Keepa versus Amazon’s own price history
Amazon has a price-history surface as well as Keepa’s charts. A May 5, 2026 report from Tom’s Guide described Amazon product-page and Rufus views with 30-, 90-, or 365-day periods, and reported that the 365-day expansion was rolling out in the US, UK, and India. That is a dated rollout report, not confirmation that the feature is available to every shopper today.
