You can track Amazon.in prices with Amazon’s built-in price history, third-party trackers, or a daily screenshot routine. But price history and alerts are not the same as a saved screenshot every day: the available listings do not establish a dependable, supported service that automatically captures and archives Amazon.in product pages daily. For a visual record, capture the same product page at a consistent time and save each image with its date; use a separate price log if you need to compare numbers.
What daily screenshots can—and cannot—show
A screenshot records what appeared on a particular product page at a particular time. It can preserve the displayed product, selected variant, visible seller or offer context, and price. It does not by itself create a complete price history, establish the price every customer would receive, or prove the eventual checkout total.

Amazon’s graph is also narrower than a complete record of all offers: Amazon Seller Central India says, “The graph shows the lowest Featured Offer price each day.” That is not necessarily every seller’s offer or the delivered price for a particular shopper. Start with Amazon’s price history
Amazon says its price-history feature is available to customers in India. Its article describes 30-, 90-, and 365-day views and says the 365-day insight was rolling out in India at publication time. Availability can vary, so check the current product page or app rather than assuming every account has every range.

- Open the exact product detail page on Amazon.in and look for the price-history link near the price.
- Alternatively, ask Alexa for Shopping about the product’s price history.
- Check which history periods are currently offered in your app or on the page.

Pick a tracker based on the job you need done: native Amazon history, a data series, threshold alerts, or a scheduled check. These are distinct from retaining an image file each day.

Set up a consistent daily screenshot record
There is no verified, ready-to-use recipe in the cited sources for reliable automated screenshots of Amazon.in pages. A manual routine is the simplest way to create a visual record. If you automate it, treat it as a workflow you must validate, not as an Amazon-approved or guaranteed process.
Manual capture checklist
- Open the exact Amazon.in product detail page and record its URL or ASIN.
- Keep the selected variant consistent. Color, storage size, pack quantity, or seller can change the displayed price.
- Capture at the same local time each day, and keep enough page context visible to identify the product, variant, offer or seller context, and displayed price.
- Name each file with the date and product identifier, for example
2026-10-03-B0EXAMPLE.webp. Keep the product URL in a separate text or spreadsheet record. - Record the displayed price in a separate log if you need numeric comparisons; do not rely on visual inspection of a folder of images.
- Flag a capture as failed if the page is blank, still loading, or showing a sign-in, bot-check, or challenge screen rather than the product offer.
For an automated routine, schedule a browser process, wait for the page to render, detect sign-in and challenge screens, save an image with a dated filename, and log success or failure. Validate that the browser remains authenticated only if your workflow requires it, and review how credentials and page data are stored. Make the record useful later
- Use one stable product URL and variant for each series; keep any change in seller or selected offer visible in the record.
- Include date and time in the filename or log, and use the same time zone consistently.
- Keep screenshots and numeric price observations together, but distinguish the page’s displayed figure from a personal checkout total.
- Track failures explicitly. Missing an image is different from a stable price, and a challenge page is not a valid price observation.
- Review extension permissions and data-handling information before installing a tracker, especially if it can access pages while you browse.

The graph’s stated measure is the lowest Featured Offer price per day, not necessarily every seller’s offer. Recheck the selected variant and offer, and keep account-specific delivery, coupons, or payment offers separate from the graph value.

A tracker has no data or sends no alert
Confirm that the product is supported, the target price or alert is configured, and the extension or app is enabled. The cited listings do not establish independent accuracy or uptime, so compare a tracker’s result with the live product page and Amazon’s own history before relying on it.
A screenshot contains a challenge, blank page, or loading state
Do not file it as a price observation. Mark the capture failed and retry later; for an automated flow, add explicit detection for challenge and incomplete-page states rather than assuming that a successful HTTP response means the product rendered.
Daily images are hard to compare
