Repair common Windows errors and clear accumulated junk for a smoother, more stable PC - no reinstall needed.Free scan · no reinstallTo watch a vMix playlist stream on a second PC, use vMix LiveLAN from a browser on the same local network. In vMix, select and start LiveLAN in Stream Settings, use View Stream to get the address, then open that LiveLAN page on the other PC. Separately, use YouTube Studio’s Live Control Room to check what YouTube reports about the incoming stream’s health and status.
Watch the vMix output with LiveLAN
LiveLAN lets another computer on your local network view the vMix program output in a browser. It shows the output, including a playlist when that playlist is part of the program; it is not a separate remote playlist-control or playlist-monitoring feature.

- Check the playlist in vMix. Confirm the List input is playing and included in the program output. vMix’s List input supports video and audio files, with controls such as auto-next, loop, shuffle, item selection, and disabling items. See the vMix List input documentation.
- Open Stream Settings in vMix. Choose LiveLAN as the destination, set a suitable quality or bitrate for your network, and start the stream. Use View Stream in the stream settings to see the URL. Interface labels can vary by installed version, so check the settings shown in your version of vMix.
- Open the page on the second PC. Connect that PC to the same local network, open a supported web browser, and enter the URL shown by View Stream. The documented pattern is
http://x.x.x.x:8088/livelan, wherex.x.x.xis the vMix computer’s address on the local network. Both computers must be able to reach one another over that network. - Watch the program output. Confirm the playlist appears and continues as expected. LiveLAN uses HLS internally, so it is suitable for viewing the output but not for frame-accurate, low-latency confidence monitoring.
Check YouTube’s view of the stream separately
Open YouTube Studio’s Live Control Room to check the incoming stream’s health, status, and any displayed errors. YouTube also documents real-time analytics there. This is a platform-side check: it does not replace watching the vMix output through LiveLAN, and LiveLAN does not tell you what YouTube reports about its ingest.
Do these 3 things before closing this tab:
1Clear out junk files and repair common Windows errors2Fix the driver behind crashes, sound loss and screen glitches3Repair Windows errors before they cause bigger problemsPlan for network bandwidth and delay
vMix says LiveLAN bandwidth demand is approximately the configured stream bitrate multiplied by the number of viewers, plus around 10–20% overhead. For example, at 2.5 Mbps, one viewer needs about 2.5 Mbps before overhead; that figure is a calculation using vMix’s stated method, not a separate published measurement. Leave enough capacity on the local network for the LiveLAN viewers as well as the rest of your traffic.

- CRISP CLARITY: This 23.8″ Philips V line monitor delivers crisp Full HD 1920x1080 visuals. Enjoy movies, shows and videos with remarkable detail
- INCREDIBLE CONTRAST: The VA panel produces brighter whites and deeper blacks. You get true-to-life images and more gradients with 16.7 million colors
- THE PERFECT VIEW: The 178/178 degree extra wide viewing angle prevents the shifting of colors when viewed from an offset angle, so you always get consistent colors
- WORK SEAMLESSLY: This sleek monitor is virtually bezel-free on three sides, so the screen looks even bigger for the viewer. This minimalistic design also allows for seamless multi-monitor setups that enhance your workflow and boost productivity
- A BETTER READING EXPERIENCE: For busy office workers, EasyRead mode provides a more paper-like experience for when viewing lengthy documents
vMix documents around 10 seconds as typical browser delay. Expect the second PC to lag behind the live program; do not use this view when precise frame timing or near-zero latency is essential. See vMix’s local network streaming guidance and LiveLAN documentation.
Monitoring from outside the local network
vMix documents LiveLAN for local-network viewing. If the second PC is off-site, ask your network administrator to provide a secure private network path. The documentation does not prescribe one universal VPN setup. Do not expose the Web Controller directly to the public internet: it can provide control functions such as switching, shortcuts, titles, and tally.

LAN-only restriction is enabled by default according to vMix. The Web Controller supports password protection and per-page access choices; vMix recommends configuring a password and making only the LiveLAN page available without a password when that exception is needed. Verify the exact controls in your installed version, and keep access as restricted as your monitoring setup allows. See the vMix Web Controller guidance.

- The playlist is not visible: Check that the List input is playing, that its items are enabled as intended, and that the input is included in the program output.
- The LiveLAN page will not load: Confirm LiveLAN is selected and running in Stream Settings, obtain the current address through View Stream, and check that both PCs are on a network where they can reach each other. Review firewall rules narrowly; do not solve a local access problem by opening broad public access.
- The view buffers or affects other network use: Compare the selected LiveLAN bitrate and number of viewers with available network capacity. Allow for vMix’s stated 10–20% overhead per its bandwidth guidance.
- The browser view is behind the program: Around 10 seconds of browser delay is typical. LiveLAN is not a frame-accurate monitor.
- YouTube reports an error but LiveLAN plays: Check the Live Control Room’s stream health and displayed errors; the local browser view and YouTube’s platform-side status are different checks.
- You need off-site viewing: Ask the network administrator to arrange a secure private path and review Web Controller authentication and page permissions before connecting.
Or let it run in the cloud
If your goal is to keep prerecorded videos live on YouTube rather than monitor a vMix output, StreamNeo is a cloud alternative: upload a recording or build a playlist, add your YouTube stream key, and go live. Nothing has to stay on at home; it streams uploaded quality up to 4K 60fps at one flat price per slot, and it can automatically recover if YouTube drops the stream. The first day is free with no card. Monthly pricing is $9.99 per month. StreamNeo streams to YouTube and plays uploaded videos; it does not stream from a camera.
