To monitor a public bank or university notice page with Sken.io, create a monitor for the page URL, select the notice area, choose Content or Visual comparison, set a check interval that fits your urgency and monthly quota, and enable a notification channel you use. Treat an alert as a prompt to confirm the notice on the institution’s own website—not as an official notice or a guarantee that every change will be detected.
What Sken.io can monitor
Sken.io describes its service as loading a page on a schedule, comparing a selected part with an earlier capture, and alerting you when that part changes. Its workflow does not require installing anything on the bank’s or university’s website. This guide is for publicly accessible notice pages, not account, transaction, or other private banking content.

Sken.io says it loads pages as an anonymous visitor and that multi-step sign-in pages are outside its intended workflow. Do not enter bank credentials to set up a notice monitor. Although Sken.io says it can render JavaScript-powered pages before comparison, that vendor-described capability is not a guarantee that every site will render correctly. See Sken.io’s product information.
Set up a notice-page monitor
- Copy the public page URL. Open the bank or university’s official website, navigate to its notices, announcements, tenders, results, or recruitment page, and copy the URL. Prefer the institution’s own page over a third-party repost.
- Create a monitor in Sken.io. Enter the URL and load the page in the monitor setup flow.
- Select the relevant area. Choose the notice list or announcement region. Include the heading, date, and link for each item that matters, but avoid selecting the whole page if it includes unrelated changing content.
- Choose the comparison mode. Use Content if changes to notice wording, dates, or links are the signal and small styling differences are noise. Use Visual if an appearance change—such as a changed badge—is what you need to catch.
- Reduce noise where possible. Sken.io recommends removing frequently changing items such as cookie banners, popups, chat widgets, or rotating ads. If one overlaps the selected area or changes on every visit, it can create irrelevant alerts.
- Set a check interval and notification channel. Balance how soon you want to know about a change against your available monthly checks. Select a channel you will actually check.
- Save the monitor and verify it captures the right area. If the notice list is missing or incomplete in the capture, check that the URL is correct and the page is publicly accessible. Do not assume JavaScript rendering will work identically on every site.
Choose Content or Visual comparison
| Mode | Best fit for a notice page | Considerations |
|---|---|---|
| Content | New or edited notice text, dates, or links | Usually the clearest signal when wording is what matters; changing page appearance may be less relevant. |
| Visual | A meaningful change in how the selected area looks, such as a badge or visual status | Frequent layout, banner, or advertising changes can be noise, so keep the selection focused. |
For most readers tracking new announcements, Content is the more direct choice. Select broadly enough to include the information you need: a change in a link or date may matter even if the notice heading stays the same.

Set a sustainable checking cadence
Sken.io’s pricing page, retrieved October 3, 2026, advertises intervals as frequent as one minute. A one-minute option is not unlimited monitoring: each check uses part of the plan’s monthly allowance. The same page lists these plans and a 14-day trial with 140 checks; prices and terms can change, so verify the live page before subscribing.
| Plan listed by Sken.io | Monthly checks listed | Listed price |
|---|---|---|
| Basic | 500 | €3/month |
| Standard | 3,000 | €12/month |
| Enterprise | 15,000 | €45/month |
These are the figures on Sken.io’s pricing page when retrieved on October 3, 2026; confirm current prices, quotas, billing terms, and interval availability directly with Sken.io pricing. The listed prices are in euros, not rupees. Your practical choice depends on the number of pages you monitor and the interval you select: faster checks consume the monthly allowance more quickly.
Choose alerts and confirm the original notice
Sken.io lists email, Android push, Slack, Discord, Google Chat, webhooks, Zapier, and a Chrome extension as notification options. Choose one you can reliably access, then open the original institution page when an alert arrives. Check the notice’s date, full text, and destination link there before acting or sharing it. A monitor alert reports a change in the selected area; it is not the institution’s publication channel.

Snapshots are not a permanent archive
Sken.io’s features page says a monitoring task can retain up to 12 snapshots. That is limited recent comparison history, not a permanent record. If you need a longer-term record, save official notices separately in a place suitable for your needs. Sken.io features.
Notice alerts are not bank operations monitoring
Monitoring a public notice list is different from monitoring the performance or availability of banking systems. An Indian Bank procurement document dated July 6, 2022 described 24×7 performance monitoring for 30 pages or URLs across net banking, mobile banking, UPI, and the bank website. That historical procurement scope does not establish Sken.io approval or suitability for operational monitoring.
Troubleshooting
- The captured area is blank or incomplete: Confirm the URL opens publicly in a normal browser and that the notice list is visible. Some pages depend on JavaScript or other site-specific behavior; Sken.io’s stated rendering capability does not ensure every implementation will work. If the area still fails to appear, contact Sken.io support.
- You receive alerts for irrelevant changes: Narrow the selected area to the notice list and use Content when wording, dates, and links matter more than appearance. Remove or exclude frequently changing overlays or rotating elements where possible.
- You miss an alert: Review the notification channel selected for the monitor and choose one you routinely check. An alert channel cannot replace opening the institution’s page to verify the notice.
- You need to monitor a sign-in page: This workflow is not intended for multi-step sign-in pages. Do not supply bank credentials; use the institution’s official notification options for private account information.
- You need older snapshots: A task’s history is limited to up to 12 snapshots. Keep a separate record of official notices if you need a longer archive.

ScreenshotNeo is a website screenshot API and MCP server. A single GET request can capture a URL as an image or PDF; it is an alternative for taking screenshots, not a replacement for Sken.io’s scheduled change-monitoring workflow. Its clean-shot steps accept cookie banners and remove more than 60 known consent platforms, newsletter popups, and chat widgets before capture, and each step can be turned off. Bot checks, blank pages, timeouts, failed loads, and cache hits are not billed. AI agents can use its MCP server tools, including take_screenshot, get_page_info, and capture_pdf. The free plan includes 1,000 screenshots per month without a card; paid plans start at $5 for 3,000 screenshots.
For example, capture a public notice page as WebP with cURL (replace the URL and API key as appropriate). See the ScreenshotNeo API documentation for request options and response details.
