You can monetize a 24/7 YouTube product-review livestream through eligible YouTube Shopping affiliate tags, livestream ads, fan-funding features, and properly disclosed sponsorships. None is automatic: access depends on your channel, country, products and retailers, while earnings depend on purchases, ad serving, and viewer participation. A nonstop schedule alone does not guarantee monetization or revenue.
Choose earning routes your channel can actually use
These routes can complement one another, but each has different eligibility rules and revenue drivers. Check the Earn and Shopping areas in YouTube Studio for the options currently available to your channel.

YouTube reported that creators who chose live automatic mid-rolls saw an average uplift of over 20% in instream ad revenue per hour. This was a YouTube Help comparison across 207 countries reported in January 2024, not an earnings forecast or guarantee for an individual channel.

YouTube’s Shopping affiliate program lets eligible creators tag products from participating brands in videos, Shorts, and live streams and potentially earn commissions on qualifying purchases. The program’s published creator-location list includes Argentina, Brazil, India, Indonesia, Japan, Korea, Malaysia, Mexico, the Philippines, Singapore, Taiwan, Thailand, the United States, and Vietnam. YouTube says creators must be in the YouTube Partner Program and meet other channel requirements. Availability and requirements can change, so verify your own eligibility and current participating sellers in YouTube Studio under Earn > Shopping.

Commission rates are not fixed for all products or time periods. Avoid promising a rate or a return to viewers; use the rate shown for the product and purchase date where available. YouTube also reported a global increase of over 25% in watch time for videos that help people shop during 2023, including video on demand, Shorts, and live, in YouTube Internal Data reported in 2024. That aggregate viewing figure does not establish that a particular 24/7 stream will earn more.
Design the stream so product tags and reviews make sense
Choose only products the audience can evaluate
Tag items that are prominently featured, used safely, and meaningfully related to the segment. A list of links without an actual demonstration or useful explanation is a poor substitute for a review. Explain what the product does, who it may suit, its limitations, and what viewers should check before buying. Keep descriptions and claims accurate, and do not rely on stale prices or commission claims.

Set up the live product shelf in YouTube
- In YouTube Studio, confirm your channel has Shopping access and that the products are in the currently available retailer catalog for your audience.
- Open the live stream’s shopping or product-tagging controls and add the relevant products. YouTube’s live tagging instructions allow up to 60 products; arrange them in the order they appear, and pin or remove items as appropriate.
- Complete the tags at least 30 minutes before going live when possible. YouTube recommends this for viewer experience because changes made during a stream may not appear to some viewers who are already watching.
- After the stream, review its tags. YouTube says post-stream tagging can make products visible during replays.
Retailer selection and regional delivery availability affect which products viewers can see or buy. Product tags may not appear for streams with claimed content, streams marked Made for Kids, streams deemed limited or ineligible for monetization, paid content, or streams blocked for ads.

Make a continuous show distinct enough to offer real value
A 24/7 schedule can make a useful show easier to find, but repeating an identical review loop is not a reliable monetization strategy. YouTube’s channel monetization policy says the substance of similar videos should be materially varied and provide creative, educational, or other value. Its example allows for product-review series with distinct storylines, focus, or concepts; highly repetitive or mass-produced content with little value can be ineligible for monetization.

Build a rotating program rather than treating nonstop playback as the editorial concept:
- Give each segment a distinct product, comparison, audience question, or review angle.
- Include meaningful commentary and demonstrations, not just a repeated sales pitch or a product image with a link.
- Update or retire segments when information becomes outdated, and make clear when a review is based on limited experience.
- Use footage, music, and other material for which you control or have cleared the necessary rights.
These programming choices follow from YouTube’s policy examples; they do not guarantee acceptance into or continued eligibility for monetization.

Disclose affiliate, gifted, and sponsored relationships throughout the stream
Tell viewers plainly when purchases through product tags may earn you a commission. If a brand paid you, gave you a product, or otherwise influenced the content in exchange for value, YouTube treats that as branded content and requires the creator to declare it in Studio. The creator remains responsible for clear, prominent disclosure.
A disclosure only at the start of a long livestream can be missed by people who join later. The U.S. Federal Trade Commission’s Endorsement Guides Q&A advises periodic disclosures and suggests continuous, clear disclosure as a safe approach; it also advises putting disclosure in the description before viewers click through. For a U.S. audience, use plain language that identifies the relationship, keep it readable on screen, repeat it during the stream, and disclose paid or gifted relationships. For example: “I may earn a commission if you buy through these product links.” This example is not legal advice for other jurisdictions.

Put the disclosure in the stream description as well as in the live presentation. Use YouTube’s paid-promotion declaration for branded content; an on-screen or spoken disclosure does not replace that platform declaration.
Use ads and fan funding without assuming a fixed return
YouTube lists pre-roll and display ads, automatic or manual mid-rolls, Super Chat, Super Stickers, and channel memberships among livestream monetization options for eligible creators. Whether ads serve depends on YouTube’s delivery and suitability decisions, and fan-funding income depends on viewers choosing to participate. Do not multiply a generic hourly rate by 24 and present it as a forecast; your own current analytics and audience data are needed to estimate results.

Estimate costs and earnings with your own numbers
There is no established revenue figure for a 24/7 product-review stream, and YouTube ad slots and affiliate purchases are not guaranteed. Estimate from your own channel’s eligible views, actual ad analytics, tagged-product clicks and purchases, current commission rates, and operating costs. Revisit the calculation when your audience, product catalog, or program eligibility changes. Do not treat YouTube’s platform-wide viewing or ad comparisons as a forecast for your channel.
