Add waitFor to the JSON body of your Html2Pdf.app request. It sets a fixed delay in seconds before PDF generation: the documented range is 0–10 seconds, and the default is 0. It can give JavaScript and asynchronously loaded resources time to render, but it is not a signal that the page is definitely ready.
Set the waitFor parameter
Send a JSON request to POST https://api.html2pdf.app/v1/generate, put your API key in the X-API-Key header, and set waitFor in the request body. The official documentation defines the value in seconds, from 0 to 10, with a default of 0. See the Html2Pdf.app documentation.

Choose a delay without assuming the page is ready
waitFor is a fixed pause, not a selector wait or a page-provided readiness callback. Start with a small value and increase it only if the page needs additional time, staying within the documented maximum of 10 seconds. Starting small is practical guidance, not a vendor-tested recommendation.
A fixed delay adds that time to the request, and it cannot guarantee completion if scripts take longer than expected or keep running indefinitely. The documentation describes the parameter as time to allow JavaScript or asynchronous resources to finish rendering; it does not promise that any particular value will finish every page.

Check other causes of missing content
If the PDF still omits content, increasing the delay may not address the underlying problem. Html2Pdf.app’s documentation identifies page accessibility, fonts and resources, CSS media mode, and JavaScript load timing as relevant factors.
- Page accessibility: The URL must be publicly reachable by the service. A page available only behind a local network or login may not be accessible to the converter.
- Asynchronous assets: Check that fonts, stylesheets, and other resources are publicly reachable. The documentation specifically recommends
waitForfor fonts that load asynchronously. - CSS media mode: The documented
mediaparameter acceptsprintorscreen; its default isscreen. Choose the mode whose styles match the intended PDF. - Page timing: A delay may help asynchronous rendering, but the documentation does not provide a universal duration. A page with variable load times may still render inconsistently with a fixed pause.
