The exact menu names can vary by ColorOS version and region; OPPO’s documented general instructions cover ColorOS 16 and earlier, while its China-market Find X10 specifications list ColorOS 17.0.
Check your ColorOS version first
On the phone, open Settings > About Phone or Settings > About Device and check the software version. OPPO notes that menu names may differ by model and ColorOS version. Its China-market Find X10 specifications list ColorOS 17.0, but OPPO’s wallpaper instructions describe menu routes through ColorOS 16, so treat the routes below as documented guidance rather than a verified ColorOS 17 menu path.

OPPO says the Settings path name may vary by ColorOS version or phone model. If a label does not match, look in Settings for wallpaper or home-screen and lock-screen customization options.

Set a personal photo and choose which screen uses it
Use the Photos app
- Open Photos and select the image you want to use.
- Tap the three-dot menu, then choose Set as wallpaper.
- Use the preview or editing page to adjust the image’s size or position if those controls appear.
- Tap Apply, then choose Lock screen, Home screen, or both if that option is offered.
On some older ColorOS versions, the combined choice may appear as Home & Lock screen. OPPO’s support instructions say that you can adjust a selected photo’s size or position to fit the screen, but that those options vary by ColorOS version. The preview is therefore the best guide to the framing available on your device.

Open wallpaper settings instead
OPPO documents these Settings routes for supported versions:
- ColorOS 16 and above: Settings > Home screen, Lock screen & style > Wallpapers.
- ColorOS 15: Settings > Wallpapers & style > Wallpapers.
- ColorOS 13–14: Settings > Wallpapers & Style > Wallpapers, then choose a static wallpaper, live wallpaper, or a photo.
For ColorOS 17, use the labels shown on your Find X10 rather than assuming these paths are unchanged. OPPO’s general wallpaper help page does not confirm a specific ColorOS 17 route.

Why the picture may look cropped
A wallpaper image and a phone screen may have different shapes. Filling the screen can cut off part of the image, while keeping the entire picture visible may leave unused space or require a different framing choice. OPPO’s guide supports adjusting size or position where available, but it does not promise that every image can be displayed uncropped.
Move or resize the image in the wallpaper preview, if your phone provides those controls, and check the result before applying it. OPPO lists the Find X10 China model with a 6.59-inch, 2768 × 1272 display; those are display specifications, not an official recommended wallpaper-file size. They should not be treated as a requirement for preparing an image.

Choose a fixed, live, or rotating wallpaper
- One photo on one or both screens: Use the Photos procedure and select the screen or screens offered at Apply.
- A still or moving wallpaper: On supported versions, choose a static or live wallpaper in wallpaper settings. Availability varies by device and software version.
- Rotating lock-screen pictures: If the lock screen changes images on its own, check whether Lock Screen Magazine or Carousel wallpapers is enabled. OPPO says Carousel availability varies by country or region and ColorOS version. On supported devices, its documented route is Settings > Home screen & Lock screen > Lock Screen Magazine > Carousel wallpapers > Added all pictures; labels may differ.
