The canonical help page for that passage was not established here, so treat 12 hours as a caution rather than a guaranteed cutoff and verify current DVR behavior in Live Control Room. Troubleshoot common problems
- You cannot start a live stream: check that the channel is verified and has no live-streaming restriction from the previous 90 days.
- YouTube receives no feed: check that OBS is streaming, the correct broadcast’s stream key is configured, and the internet connection is available. If a key was exposed, replace it and update OBS.
- The stream is live but fabric sounds are missing: confirm the intended microphone is selected as an OBS audio input, its meter moves, and the stream preview carries audio.
- Audio distorts or clips: lower the input level and repeat a test with the loudest fabric handling you expect to use.
- The picture or stream keeps dropping: check the encoder and network, then use the Live Control Room status to narrow down whether the encoder feed is reaching YouTube consistently. Reduce settings if the computer or connection cannot sustain them.
- The stream is interrupted after a copyright match: remove the matched material or resolve the rights issue; for licensed content, ask the rights owner about Content ID allowlisting.
