To keep recorded IELTS lessons playing as a continuous YouTube live broadcast, send the recordings to YouTube through an encoder-based live workflow. First make sure the channel is eligible, clear every element in the lessons for rebroadcast, and decide how you will keep the feed running and handle archives. YouTube documents encoder streaming as an option, but does not provide a specific recipe for looping recorded lessons around the clock.
Check that your channel can livestream
Before preparing a continuous broadcast, confirm the channel meets YouTube’s live-streaming requirements. YouTube Help says the channel must be verified and must not have had live-streaming restrictions during the prior 90 days. A person must also be at least 16 to livestream. See YouTube’s live-streaming eligibility and setup guidance for current requirements.

- If the channel is not verified, complete verification before planning the broadcast.
- If a live-streaming restriction applies, resolve it and check eligibility again rather than assuming an encoder or another device will bypass it.
- Confirm the account operator meets the age requirement.
Prepare the IELTS lessons and their rights
Make a list of every element viewers will hear or see in the continuous program: the lesson recording itself, music, video clips, photographs, diagrams, slides, and other materials. You need the rights necessary to rebroadcast all of them in a livestream, not just permission to use them in a classroom or upload an ordinary video.
YouTube scans live streams for third-party content. An unresolved match can interrupt or terminate a broadcast. Even when you have a licence, the rights holder may need to add your channel to its Content ID allowlist for the live stream not to be interrupted. Review YouTube’s guidance on copyright issues with live streams and ask the rights holder about allowlisting when relevant.
#1 Best Overall
- Use lesson material you created or have permission to rebroadcast live.
- Check background music and brief embedded clips as carefully as the main lesson.
- If a rights holder has licensed material but Content ID may recognize it, arrange any required allowlisting before going live.
- Do not treat a successful upload or an earlier unflagged broadcast as proof that every future live use is cleared.
Use an encoder-based live workflow
YouTube lists encoder streaming as one of its live options. For recorded lessons, the encoder workflow is the relevant category: the recordings must be sent to YouTube as a live feed. YouTube describes encoders as tools that can stream gameplay and overlays and use external hardware; its general guidance does not give a specific setup for looping prerecorded lessons continuously.
At a high level, the process is to configure the encoder to send a live feed to the eligible YouTube channel, then supply the recorded program as that feed. The exact playlist or looping arrangement depends on the encoder or hosted service you choose. The official guidance cited here does not establish particular software, resolution, bitrate, keyframe interval, stream-key menu path, or settings for a 24/7 recorded IELTS stream, so verify those details against the current documentation for your chosen setup rather than copying a generic recipe.

- Choose who will operate the feed. A local setup depends on the computer and connection running the encoder; a hosted setup runs the playout elsewhere. Check the specific product’s documentation for continuous playback, playlist behavior, and recovery.
- Set up the YouTube live stream and encoder connection. Follow YouTube’s current live-control-room and encoder instructions. Treat the stream key as a credential: use the correct channel’s key and do not publish or share it.
- Load the recorded lessons in the intended sequence. Verify the chosen encoder or service supports the playlist or repeat behavior you need; the YouTube overview does not prescribe a looping mechanism.
- Check the live output and rights before relying on it. Confirm the broadcast is reaching the intended channel and watch for copyright alerts or interruptions.
Plan for continuity and archiving separately
A 24/7 plan has two distinct goals: keeping the live feed available and retaining a replay afterward. The official encoder overview confirms a way to livestream, but it does not guarantee uninterrupted service for a particular local or hosted setup. Evaluate the chosen implementation for what happens if its machine, connection, encoder, or service stops, and how it resumes; do not infer continuous uptime from the fact that a stream can be started.

YouTube’s Creator Liaison guidance dated August 12, 2026 says archived livestreams can count toward qualified watch hours under the described criteria, while unarchived livestreams do not. That does not mean every continuous stream will necessarily be archived or stay available as a replay. Check current archive limits and settings, and verify the Partner Program criteria that apply to your channel in YouTube’s explanation of qualified watch hours and views.

Or let it run in the cloud
StreamNeo is a YouTube-only cloud service for keeping uploaded videos live on a YouTube channel. For recorded IELTS lessons, the steps are: upload a recording or build a playlist, add your YouTube stream key once, and go live.
