Do these 3 things before closing this tab:
1Scan for outdated or missing drivers - takes under a minute2Repair Windows errors before they cause bigger problems3Fix the driver behind crashes, sound loss and screen glitchesTo keep Rajasthan desert wind sounds live on YouTube around the clock, prepare audio and visuals you own or are licensed to use, send them through an encoder using YouTube Live Control Room, and plan to monitor and recover the stream. YouTube does not guarantee an uninterrupted broadcast, and a stream longer than 12 hours may not be archived, so preserve a separate local recording if you need a replay.
What you need before you start
- A YouTube channel that is verified, has no live-stream restriction in the previous 90 days, and meets YouTube’s minimum age requirement: the person streaming must be at least 16. Check YouTube’s current live-streaming eligibility and setup guidance before scheduling the broadcast.
- An encoder-based setup. YouTube lists encoders as a live-streaming method suited to customized presentations and hardware such as microphones, preamps, and cameras.
- Wind audio and every visual element that you own or have permission to use.
- A plan for monitoring the broadcast and for saving an independent archive if you need one.
For genuinely original Rajasthan ambience, you can record the wind yourself or commission a recording. A microphone and possibly a preamp are optional parts of that workflow, not YouTube requirements. You can also use audio you already have, provided your rights cover its use in a live broadcast.

Prepare the sound and visuals
Use audio you can legally stream
Keep the original recording files and any licenses or permissions. Permission should cover the actual use: a license for personal listening, for example, is not necessarily permission to broadcast the recording on YouTube. Attribution by itself does not establish permission.
Recommended Free Tools
Think beyond the wind track. Rights need to cover any music, photographs, footage, maps, artwork, stock ambience, and overlays in the stream. Avoid adding sounds simply to make the loop feel fuller unless you have the right to use them.

Make the presentation clear and intentional
Choose a visual that accurately represents the stream, such as footage or a still image you are authorized to use. Give the broadcast a clear title and description, and explain whether the sound is an original field recording, a licensed recording, or a curated mix. This helps viewers understand what they are hearing; it does not guarantee YouTube monetization approval.
Set up the YouTube broadcast with an encoder
- Confirm eligibility. Verify the channel and check that it has no live-stream restriction in the previous 90 days. The person streaming must be at least 16. YouTube’s Get started with live streaming page has the current requirements and setup guidance.
- Open YouTube Live Control Room. Create or configure the live stream there and choose an encoder-based workflow. YouTube’s encoder guidance describes this route for customized streams and external audio or video hardware.
- Connect your encoder to the stream. Follow the current instructions shown in Live Control Room and in your encoder. Treat the stream key as a credential: keep it private, and do not publish or share it. Interface labels and encoder recommendations can change, so use the current on-screen instructions rather than relying on old settings copied from another guide.
- Send the prepared feed and inspect the preview. Confirm that the audio is audible, the intended visual appears, and Live Control Room reports the incoming feed before starting the public broadcast.
- Start the stream and monitor it. Check the live status and listen for problems after launch. For a 24/7 operation, decide who will notice a disconnect and how the encoder will be brought back online; do not assume YouTube guarantees zero downtime.
YouTube’s current documentation is the source for eligibility and encoder setup. The available guidance here does not establish a single correct bitrate, resolution, keyframe interval, or encoder configuration for every recording and connection, so use the current recommendations for your specific encoder rather than treating a guessed preset as universal.

Plan for continuity and a replay separately
A 24/7 live broadcast and a complete recording are different goals. YouTube says it can automatically archive a live stream if it is under 12 hours, but warns: “If your live stream exceeds 12 hours, it may not be captured at all.” See YouTube’s live-stream archive guidance.
What’s actually slowing this PC down?
Pick the symptom - the matching free tool is one click away.
- If you need a replay, record locally and plan enough storage for the duration and quality you choose. YouTube recommends a local archive as a backup.
- Decide how you will manage long recordings and storage. The cited platform guidance does not establish a method for stitching or publishing one continuous archive.
- For continuity, arrange monitoring and a recovery process for an encoder or connection interruption. A plan reduces avoidable downtime but cannot guarantee an unbroken stream.
Copyright and Content ID can interrupt the stream
YouTube scans live streams for third-party content, including other copyrighted live broadcasts. When it detects such content, it may replace the stream with a placeholder image and warn the creator to stop streaming it. If the content remains, YouTube may interrupt or terminate the broadcast. Its copyright guidance for live streams also says a licensed creator may still need the rights owner to add the channel to the Content ID allowlist; without that, a stream can be interrupted even when the creator has a license.

- PLUG IN AND HEAR SOUND IN SECONDS - USB Type-A connector with a 3.5mm stereo headphone output and a separate 3.5mm mono microphone input. No drivers, no software, no external power - the adapter is USB bus-powered and is recognized as a standard USB audio device.
- WORKS ON WINDOWS, MAC AND LINUX - Driverless on Windows 98SE/ME/2000/XP/Server 2003/Vista/7/8, Linux and Mac OSX, and compliant with the USB Audio Device Class 1.0 specification, so any system that supports class-compliant USB audio will see it. Select it as the sound output and input device after plugging it in.
- TWO JACKS, TWO JOBS - The green jack is stereo OUT for headphones or powered speakers; the pink jack is mono microphone IN for a 3.5mm mic. It does NOT support 4-pole headsets on a single combo plug, it does NOT power passive speakers, and it does NOT add surround sound - it is a stereo 2-channel adapter.
- FOR LAPTOPS AND DESKTOPS THAT NEED AN AUDIO PORT BACK - Adds a headphone and mic port to a laptop, desktop, or mini PC whose onboard jack has failed or was never there. Managed and work-issued computers can block new USB audio devices by policy - check with your IT department before ordering for a company machine.
- SABRENT SUPPORT AND WARRANTY - What is in the box: one USB audio sound adapter. Backed by a 1-year limited warranty, extended to 2 years when you register within 90 days on the manufacturer's website.
Keep rights records available and do not treat a successful private test as proof that a later live broadcast will not be matched. These are practical implications of YouTube’s stated matching and allowlisting rules, not legal advice about a particular license.
Independent reader supportYour contribution helps us test, update, and keep practical guides available for everyone. What to know about monetization
YouTube’s monetization policies apply to live streams. Its policy on inauthentic content addresses material that is repetitive or mass-produced, while reused-content review is separate from copyright. Having permission to use a recording or avoiding a copyright claim does not by itself establish monetization eligibility. See the current YouTube channel monetization policies, including the policy update shown as July 15, 2025.

A stream built from near-identical loops, with little clear creator contribution, carries policy risk. Original recordings, thoughtful sound curation or production, accurate context, and a channel presentation that explains how the material was made can make the creator’s contribution clearer, but none guarantees acceptance.
YouTube lists ads, Super Chat and Super Stickers, and memberships as possible live-stream revenue features where a channel is eligible and has the relevant settings enabled. Ad slots are not guaranteed to serve. See YouTube’s live-stream monetization guidance; it does not support projecting revenue for a Rajasthan wind stream.
