To run a 24/7 bhajan stream on YouTube, enable live streaming, clear the rights for every song and visual, then send a tested feed from an encoder—or upload rights-cleared videos to a cloud service that loops them. Use accurate Hindi metadata, monitor the stream, and keep a separate recording: YouTube may not capture a stream that runs longer than 12 hours.
Choose how the stream will run
Decide whether you will broadcast a live performance, loop prerecorded videos, use a visual with audio, or combine these formats. A live performance needs performers and production coverage; prerecorded programming is easier to repeat but still requires rights for the exact recordings, compositions, and visuals. Either way, YouTube needs a live feed from a supported workflow.

- Local software encoder: YouTube supports software encoders. The computer, encoder, power, and internet connection must remain available while it sends the stream.
- Standalone hardware encoder: YouTube also supports hardware encoders. Consider one if you need external audio or video inputs or want a dedicated production device; it is not required for a basic stream.
- Cloud looping: A cloud service can play uploaded videos without keeping a home computer running. StreamNeo is one option for looping uploaded videos to YouTube; its setup is described below.
Check YouTube live-stream eligibility before the start date
YouTube’s current help guidance says a channel must be verified and must not have had a live-streaming restriction in the previous 90 days. Streamers must be at least 16 years old. First-time live-stream activation can take up to 24 hours, so enable access well ahead of the planned broadcast rather than on launch day. See YouTube’s Get started with live streaming guidance.

Clear rights for the music and visuals
A devotional subject does not make a song or recording free to use. For each item, check the rights to both the musical composition and the specific sound recording. Also check permissions for spoken segments, artwork, background images, and video clips. Keep a record of permitted platforms, territories, livestream use, monetization terms, and duration.
#1 Best Overall
Do not assume a song is usable because it is old, because another channel streams it, or because a license covers some other use. YouTube scans live streams for third-party content. A detected match can replace the stream with a placeholder and may lead to interruption or termination. If you have licensed third-party music, YouTube advises asking the rights owner to add your channel to its Content ID allowlist; a license alone may not prevent an automated interruption when the channel is not allowlisted. For music-channel broadcasts, YouTube for Artists also recommends coordinating with the relevant label or distributor. See Copyright issues with live streams and YouTube for Artists’ guidance on going live.
Connect and test an encoder
- Open YouTube Studio’s Live Control Room. Create or schedule the stream and choose the encoder workflow. YouTube’s encoder setup guide explains how to connect with the stream URL and stream key.
- Copy the stream URL and key into your encoder. Treat the key as private. Use RTMPS if the encoder offers it; YouTube recommends the secure ingestion protocol.
- Choose settings your connection can sustain. YouTube supports multiple video codecs and recommends constant-bitrate encoding, AAC or MP3 audio, and appropriate keyframe intervals. For H.264, its current recommendations include 5 Mbps for 720p at 30 fps and 10 Mbps for 1080p at 30 fps. These are platform recommendations, not a guarantee of what your internet connection can sustain. Check YouTube’s current encoder settings, bitrates, and resolutions for the complete settings applicable to your resolution, frame rate, and codec.
- Run a representative test. Test the actual style of video and audio you plan to broadcast, check upload capacity, and watch stream health in Live Control Room. A static image may behave differently from footage with movement; the test should resemble the real program.
- Confirm the feed before relying on it unattended. Check for audible, consistent audio, a stable picture, and a healthy incoming signal. Decide who or what will notice silence, a stalled feed, encoder failure, power loss, or an internet outage and restore service.
Write accurate Hindi titles and descriptions
Use a title that tells viewers what is actually playing: identify the bhajan or devotional focus when verified, use Hindi where useful, and describe the format honestly. YouTube’s title limit is 100 characters. Adapt a structure such as:
Hindi Bhajan Live 24/7 | [भजन/देवता] | Hindi Devotional Music
Replace the brackets with the real subject and repertoire. Do not name a deity, singer, or song that is not in the stream, or call a prerecorded loop a live performance if that would mislead viewers.
Write the description naturally in Hindi (Devanagari). Explain the stream, list songs only if the playlist is verified, credit performers and rights holders where appropriate, and include a schedule or contact detail only if it is useful and true. Do not describe music as copyright-free unless that claim is accurate and substantiated. YouTube’s description limit is 5,000 characters.
For example, adapt this opening only after verifying the details: “24/7 हिंदी भजन लाइव स्ट्रीम। इस प्रसारण में [वास्तव में शामिल भजन/कलाकार/मंडली] प्रस्तुत हैं। गीतों और रिकॉर्डिंग के अधिकार संबंधित अधिकारधारकों के पास हैं। सूची और श्रेय: [सत्यापित जानकारी जोड़ें].”

If you want to reach viewers who use other languages, add translated titles and descriptions through YouTube Studio’s language tools. Keep names and transliteration consistent and translations faithful. YouTube says translated metadata can be shown to relevant viewers and can appear in search for viewers who speak those languages. Tags have limited discovery impact apart from helping with common misspellings, so prioritize precise metadata and correct language selection. See YouTube’s tools to translate your content and video settings guidance.
Plan for continuity and a usable replay
A 24-hour broadcast should not depend on noticing a failure by chance. Plan how the operator or service will detect silence, a stalled feed, encoder failure, power loss, or internet interruption and restore the stream. For local encoding, that means accounting for the computer, power, network, and human response; test recovery rather than assuming an encoder will resume correctly.
Best Value
Do not count on YouTube to preserve one complete 24-hour replay. YouTube says streams shorter than 12 hours can be automatically archived, recommends a local archive backup, and warns that streams longer than 12 hours may not be captured at all. Long streams may also have limited DVR rewind. If viewers need replays, keep a local recording or divide programming into shorter scheduled streams, and confirm the current behavior in Live Control Room. See Archive live streams and Turn on DVR on live streams.
Or let it run in the cloud
StreamNeo keeps a YouTube channel live by looping videos uploaded to its cloud service; it does not broadcast from a camera. Upload your recording or build a playlist, add your YouTube stream key once, and go live. Your computer can be off while the cloud stream runs. Every slot supports uploaded quality up to 4K 60fps at one flat price per slot, with no re-encode or quality tiers, and includes 10 GB of storage per slot pooled across active slots, looping and playlists, automatic recovery if YouTube drops the stream, and team support. The first day is free with no card, one free day per account. Monthly pricing is $9.99 per month.
