To loop Marathi church worship videos on YouTube Live, play an authorized video or playlist on repeat through a streaming encoder, then send that feed to a YouTube Live stream using its stream URL and key. YouTube does not provide a universal repeat-playback setting in the Live Control Room; the repeat controls depend on the playback software you choose. What you need before you start
- A verified YouTube channel with no live-streaming restriction in the previous 90 days. YouTube says first-time live streaming can take up to 24 hours to become available, so enable it in advance. YouTube’s encoder setup guide and live-streaming eligibility guidance explain these requirements.
- Marathi worship video files that the church is authorized to broadcast, plus playback software that can repeat a video or playlist.
- A software encoder running on a computer, or a standalone hardware encoder, to send the playback output to YouTube Live.
- A stable internet connection with enough upload capacity for the stream. YouTube recommends keeping 20% headroom above the bitrate load in its streaming tips.
The YouTube guidance cited here supports the encoder workflow but does not endorse a particular repeat-playback application or establish its exact loop settings. Check the help documentation for your chosen player and encoder rather than assuming the controls are the same across apps.

Prepare the videos and confirm broadcast rights
Make a playlist or repeat sequence in your selected playback software, ordering the service, prayers, hymns, and other recordings as the church intends. Test the transition from the final clip back to the first; confirm that audio does not cut out or unexpectedly overlap. These are playback checks, not YouTube-specific settings.
Use recordings the church owns or has permission to broadcast, including the underlying music and any performance rights that apply. YouTube’s live-stream terms place responsibility for obtaining necessary rights on the provider. YouTube also scans live streams for third-party content, including another live broadcast; a match can replace the stream with a placeholder, and continued use may lead to interruption or termination. A license alone may not prevent an interruption if the rights owner has not allowlisted the channel through Content ID. Create the YouTube Live stream and connect an encoder
- Open YouTube Studio and select Go Live. Create a stream or schedule one in Live Control Room. If this is the channel’s first live stream, account for YouTube’s stated activation time of up to 24 hours.
- In Live Control Room, copy the stream URL and stream key. Enter both in the encoder you selected. Treat the key like a password: anyone who has it can send a feed to the stream.
- Set the encoder’s input to the output from your video playback workflow, then start the repeated playlist. YouTube’s encoder guidance covers both software encoders and standalone hardware encoders; it does not require buying dedicated hardware. Read YouTube’s encoder instructions for the current Live Control Room workflow.
- Wait for the feed to appear in Live Control Room. Preview it before starting the public broadcast, and check the watch page, picture, and sound. Keep the computer, playback software, encoder, and network connection running for as long as this do-it-yourself stream is needed.
Check the stream during the day
Monitor the Live Control Room and the public watch page after going live. Look and listen for stalled playback, silence, buffering, or a dropped connection. A stream depends on the playback machine, encoder, power, and network staying available; YouTube’s streaming tips recommend leaving bandwidth headroom and note the importance of a stable connection. If the stream is interrupted, check whether the player is still repeating, whether the encoder remains connected, and whether the network has recovered before restarting the feed.
Plan the replay separately from the live service
YouTube says streams under 12 hours are automatically archived when stopped. The guidance cited here does not establish automatic archiving for a single uninterrupted stream longer than 12 hours. If the church needs a replay, plan the broadcast length accordingly and check YouTube’s current archive guidance rather than promising that a longer all-day stream will be saved. Continuous live availability and an archived replay are separate needs.

Copyright permission and monetization are separate questions
Permission to stream material does not guarantee that a channel will qualify for monetization. YouTube describes reused content as material republished without significant original commentary, substantive modification, or educational or entertainment value, and says it reviews the channel as a whole. Repeatedly showing the church’s own recordings may differ from republishing someone else’s videos, but neither monetization eligibility nor copyright permission can be inferred from that fact alone. A computer and software encoder can work if the church can keep the whole playback-and-streaming setup running and monitor it. Standalone encoder hardware is another option, but YouTube does not mandate it or identify a best model. Compare the options on setup effort, cost, compatibility with the chosen repeat-playback workflow, reliability during long sessions, and available monitoring or backup. These are practical selection criteria, not YouTube specifications.
