You can stream a prerecorded yoga nidra video as a YouTube Live broadcast by running an encoder such as FFmpeg on an India-based VPS, pacing the file in real time, and sending it to a YouTube encoder stream. YouTube’s documented workflow is to create the stream in YouTube Studio, use its stream URL and key in the encoder, then check the preview and stream health. The VPS location does not guarantee better delivery or reliability; test the specific server, network and media file you plan to use.
Before you start: channel access, rights and server
Check YouTube live eligibility
YouTube says a channel must be verified and have had no live-streaming restrictions in the preceding 90 days to enable live streaming. Enabling a first stream can take up to 24 hours. Confirm access before preparing a scheduled broadcast. See YouTube’s live-streaming eligibility guidance and encoder setup instructions.
Confirm worldwide rights to the recording
You need the rights to rebroadcast the entire video and soundtrack worldwide. A yoga nidra recording may include narration, music, ambient audio or third-party visuals; permission to listen privately or upload a video does not necessarily include permission to broadcast it live. YouTube’s terms require necessary rights, including music rights.
Choose and test the VPS
The VPS is the machine that reads the media file and runs the encoder. The available evidence does not establish a particular Indian provider, instance size, bandwidth allowance, route to YouTube ingestion, reliability level or price. Check your provider’s current terms and test sustained outbound throughput and stability from the actual instance. Being hosted in India by itself does not guarantee a better YouTube connection.

- Read Before You Buy — No Video Output: These adapters support charging and USB 2.0 data transfer, but cannot transmit video signals. Except for standard USB webcams (which use USB data only), they are not compatible with HDMI/DisplayPort cables, video-capable USB-C hubs, or docking stations with video output.
- Convert USB-A Ports to USB-C: Designed to connect USB-C earphones, cables, flash drives, card readers, and other USB-C accessories to standard USB-A ports. Plug-and-play with no drivers or software required.
- Aluminum Alloy Housing: Built with a sturdy aluminum alloy shell that aids in heat dissipation and protects against daily wear and scratches. Designed to maintain a stable and secure connection.
- Compact & Travel-Friendly: The ultra-compact design allows the adapter to stay plugged into your device without blocking adjacent ports or adding bulk, reducing wear and tear on your original USB ports.
- 12-Month Warranty: Backed by a 12-month manufacturer warranty for peace of mind. Designed to meet strict quality control standards for reliable everyday performance.
Create an encoder stream in YouTube Studio
- Open YouTube Studio and select Create > Go Live.
- Choose the encoder workflow, then create or schedule a stream.
- Copy the stream URL and stream key shown in the Live Control Room. The URL is the destination; the key identifies the stream to YouTube.
- Enter those values in your encoder. Use RTMPS if the encoder supports it, as YouTube recommends.
Treat the stream key like a password. Do not publish it in a command, screenshot, repository or support post. If it is exposed, reset it in Live Control Room before broadcasting again. See YouTube’s encoder instructions and stream-key guidance.
Run FFmpeg on the VPS
Understand real-time pacing before looping
FFmpeg’s -re option reads a file at its native frame rate; it is equivalent to -readrate 1. Pacing matters because a file encoder must send packets at a live rate rather than upload the recording as quickly as possible. FFmpeg documents this option for cases where output packet speed matters, including live streaming: FFmpeg documentation.

That option alone does not make a complete, reliable loop command. A working setup depends on the file’s video and audio streams, encoding and muxing compatibility, the current YouTube ingest requirements, and how the process handles interruptions. No complete loop command or specific VPS configuration is established here, so do not assume a generic command—or stream copy with -c copy—will work for your file. Validate the command against the exact media and encoder path before relying on it.
Keep credentials out of exposed commands
Use placeholders while building or documenting a command, and keep the real stream key in a protected configuration or secret store accessible only to the encoder process. Restrict access to VPS accounts and logs that could expose configuration. Never paste a real key into a public example.

Test the stream and monitor it live
- Start the encoder and wait for YouTube’s preview in Live Control Room.
- Check YouTube’s stream-health messages and the incoming bitrate. Choose a bitrate the VPS’s sustained outbound connection can support; do not infer capacity from the server’s advertised port speed alone.
- Test with the actual video and audio, including representative movement and sound. YouTube recommends testing before an event and monitoring stream health.
- When the preview and health status are acceptable, go live in the Control Room if the stream is not set to start automatically.
- Keep an eye on health during the broadcast. A stable preview at the start does not establish that a long session will remain uninterrupted.
YouTube transcodes the incoming feed for different devices and network conditions. Its current encoder guidance covers setup and monitoring: YouTube Help.
Plan the duration and archive
If you need YouTube’s automatic archive, keep each stream under 12 hours and retain a local recording backup. YouTube says streams under 12 hours can be automatically archived, while streams exceeding 12 hours may not be captured at all; shorter streams are not guaranteed an archive. See YouTube’s archive guidance.

Understand copyright and monetization limits
Having broadcast rights does not guarantee monetization. YouTube warns that highly repetitive or interchangeable material with little educational value, commentary, narrative or variation may be ineligible for monetization; reused-content review applies to a channel as a whole. A looped yoga nidra video may be assessed in context, so no individual outcome can be promised. Read YouTube’s channel monetization policies and make sure the material and its presentation comply.
Common problems and what to check
- YouTube does not accept the stream: check that the stream URL and key were copied correctly, the key has not been reset, and the selected stream is open in Live Control Room.
- No preview appears: confirm the encoder is running and sending data, then check the stream-health messages for connection or ingest issues.
- The feed is unstable: test sustained outbound throughput from the VPS and reduce the encoder’s demands to a level the connection can maintain. YouTube recommends a supported bitrate and health monitoring; an India-based location is not a fix by itself.
- The video or audio behaves incorrectly at a loop boundary: check the source file’s streams and compatibility and validate the looping and muxing method with the exact file. A real-time pacing flag alone does not verify loop behavior.
- The stream key was exposed: reset it in Live Control Room and update the encoder’s protected configuration.
- The archive is missing: check the stream duration. A stream longer than 12 hours may not be captured; keep a separate recording when an archive matters.
Or let it run in the cloud
Instead of maintaining an encoder process on your VPS, StreamNeo runs uploaded videos as a 24/7 YouTube stream from the cloud. Upload a recording or build a playlist, add your YouTube stream key once, then go live. Nothing has to stay on at home; the video streams as uploaded at any quality up to 4K 60fps for one flat price per slot, and StreamNeo automatically recovers if YouTube drops the stream. The first day is free with no card required. Monthly service is $9.99 per month. UPI and cards are available in India; card checkout is available worldwide. StreamNeo is for uploaded videos and YouTube streams, not camera broadcasts. Learn more at StreamNeo, or start your free first day.
