Open the Spotify mobile app on iOS or Android, update it, then look for the Wrapped feed at the top of Home or search for the year’s Wrapped by name, such as “2025 Wrapped.” Spotify’s live Wrapped page currently reads “2026 Wrapped” and says to keep listening until Spotify gets in touch, so this year’s recap isn’t ready yet. The page points to the top songs of 2025 in the meantime.
Steps to open your Wrapped
- Check whether this year’s edition is live. Spotify’s Wrapped page shows its status. At the time of writing, it says 2026 Wrapped is not ready and offers 2025 top songs instead.
- Use the mobile app and update it. Spotify’s instructions for the 2025 launch pointed to the iOS and Android apps, with the latest version installed.
- Look on Home. The Wrapped feed appears at the top of the Home screen when the experience is live.
- Or search. Type the year-specific name, for example “2025 Wrapped,” into Spotify search.
- If nothing shows up, check the eligibility notes below. Spotify’s Help page says Wrapped and some features may not be available to every user because eligibility criteria apply.
Why it might not appear
Eligibility
For the 2025 launch, Spotify said you needed at least 30 songs streamed for more than 30 seconds each, across at least five different artists. Streams in Private Mode, or from songs and playlists excluded from your Taste Profile, did not count toward that test. Those are 2025 conditions. Don’t assume they are the 2026 rules; Spotify’s guidance for the current year is the one that counts.

Premium isn’t required
Spotify said that in 2025 both Free and Premium users could access the personalized experience in nearly all markets where Spotify operates.
Do these 3 things before closing this tab:
1Fix the driver behind crashes, sound loss and screen glitches2Clear out junk files and repair common Windows errors3Scan for outdated or missing drivers - takes under a minuteTiming
The recap only appears once Spotify releases it. Until then, the page shows the previous year’s top songs rather than your personal data.

What Wrapped counts
According to Spotify’s 2025 methodology, that edition covered listening from January through mid-November. Private Mode and Exclude from Taste Profile activity still counted toward total time spent with Spotify, but it did not shape the taste-based stories.
| Feature (2025 edition) | Spotify’s stated threshold |
|---|---|
| Top Songs ranking | At least 30 tracks streamed |
| Album appears in your list | At least 70% of its tracks listened to |
| Listening period | January through mid-November |
These explain why some stories may be missing from an account that otherwise has a Wrapped. They are 2025 figures, not guarantees for later years.
