How to Listen to Every League of Legends Worlds Anthem and Watch Its Official Music Video (2014–2026)

To hear a Worlds anthem, search its exact title on a licensed music service available in your country. To see the official music video, search the title and Worlds year on the League of Legends YouTube channel. Match the artist, title and League of Legends or Worlds association before pressing play: covers, remixes, ceremony performances and fan compilations often appear beside the original release.

This guide covers the 13-title sequence from 2014 through 2026, explains how to distinguish the canonical video from related uploads, and gives a fallback plan when a track is unavailable in your region. Video and audio are separate routes, so saving both versions is useful if you want to revisit the animation, listen offline where permitted, or build a year-by-year archive.

The complete Worlds anthem list

Riot describes the Worlds anthem as an annual series that began in 2014. The list below gives the year, title and a search phrase that is specific enough to find the intended release. Riot’s 2026 announcement calls “Know My Name” the 13th Worlds anthem. Because Riot has not published one single page enumerating every year, treat this as a practical lookup list and verify that each result is an official League of Legends release.

2025 “Sacrifice” League of Legends Worlds 2025 Sacrifice G.E.M. official
2026 “Know My Name” League of Legends Worlds 2026 Know My Name True Damage official

Copy the title exactly when possible. Capitalization and punctuation help narrow results for short names such as “GODS,” “RISE” and “STAR WALKIN’.” If a search engine normalizes curly apostrophes or capitalization, add the year and the word official to restore the context.

Before you start: choose the right route

Decide whether you want the visual release, audio-only playback, or both. The official YouTube route is best for the animated or narrative video and is generally available without a music-service subscription. A licensed music service is better for repeat listening, album organization and offline playback where that service and your subscription permit it. Neither route guarantees worldwide availability: videos can be region-blocked, and audio catalogues can differ by territory.

  • For video: use the League of Legends YouTube channel, the year, the exact title and “official.”
  • For audio: search the exact title on a licensed service operating in your country, then confirm the artist and Worlds association.
  • For a collector’s copy: look for the Vol. 1 vinyl listing, but remember that it stops at 2023.
  • For a live rendition: search the title with “opening ceremony” or the event name, and label the result as a performance rather than the official music video.

You need no special League of Legends game account to identify or play the releases. A stable internet connection is needed for streaming, while downloads depend on the service’s account, subscription and local rights. Keep a note of the date you checked each entry because links, catalogues and regional permissions can change.

Watch the official music videos

Use the League of Legends YouTube channel

  1. Open the official League of Legends YouTube channel rather than a similarly named fan channel.
  2. Enter the year and title together, such as League of Legends Worlds 2018 RISE official.
  3. Open the result whose channel identity, title and description connect it to League of Legends or Worlds.
  4. Check the upload before sharing it. A video with a similar thumbnail can be a lyric video, a re-upload, a reaction, a fan edit or a live performance rather than the official music video.
  5. Save the verified link in a playlist or bookmark and include the year in your note. This avoids confusing two songs with similar names later.

Riot’s 2026 announcement specifically names the League of Legends YouTube channel as the destination for the “Know My Name” video. Riot’s 2025 anniversary article gives the same channel as the expected home for the 2025 anthem and video, and Riot’s 2024 media page labels “Heavy Is The Crown” featuring Linkin Park as that year’s official anthem and music video. Those statements make the channel the most dependable starting point for the catalogue, while the year-and-title search prevents an older upload with a similar name from being mistaken for the current release.

Tell a music video from a related upload

  • Official video: the title uses the anthem’s official name and the channel is League of Legends or an official Riot Games outlet.
  • Alternate visual: lyric videos, animated loops, behind-the-scenes clips and regional edits may use the same recording but are not the primary music video.
  • Performance: an opening-ceremony or broadcast performance is a separate presentation, even when it contains the same song.
  • Unofficial upload: covers, remixes, orchestral arrangements and fan compilations are not the original anthem release.

Read the description and visible credits when available. A title that says “live,” “cover,” “remix,” “instrumental,” “reaction” or “lyrics” is telling you that the upload is related to the anthem, not necessarily the canonical video. Do not rely on a thumbnail alone: fan uploads often reuse official artwork.

If search results are crowded, add the year, the word official and the exact capitalization shown in the list. “STAR WALKIN’,” for example, uses an apostrophe in the published title; copying the title exactly reduces false matches.

Listen to audio-only versions

Search a licensed service by exact title

  1. Open a music service that is licensed to operate in your country.
  2. Search the anthem title first, then confirm the year and League of Legends or Worlds association in the artist, album or track details.
  3. Choose the official release when several versions appear. Album versions, radio edits, instrumental tracks and remixes can be listed separately.
  4. Use the service’s download or offline feature only if your subscription and local rights permit it.
  5. Add the verified recording to a playlist named by year, rather than relying on an automatically generated playlist with uncertain ownership.

Riot’s 2026 announcement says “Know My Name” by True Damage was released across major streaming platforms alongside the official video. Riot’s 2020 partnership announcement described Spotify as the official audio and music streaming partner for League of Legends global events and introduced the LoL Esports Music Hub. That 2020 statement is historical: it does not prove that Spotify is still an exclusive partner, or that every anthem is available there in every territory today. Catalog licensing can change by country, so an absent track is not evidence that the song was never released.

When a song is missing

  • Try the exact title without punctuation, then try the title plus its Worlds year.
  • Search by the credited performer as well as the title. This is especially helpful for “Sacrifice,” “Know My Name” and “Heavy Is The Crown,” where adding G.E.M., True Damage or Linkin Park narrows unrelated results.
  • Check another licensed music service available where you live.
  • Use the official League of Legends video for a legal listening option if the audio catalogue in your service is incomplete.
  • Confirm that you are not looking at a cover or a user-uploaded compilation presented as the original.

Streaming rights, release windows and territory restrictions are service-specific. The announcements do not establish current track-by-track availability in every region, so do not assume that a catalogue gap is permanent or worldwide. A greyed-out playlist entry can mean that local rights changed, not that the anthem was deleted from the series.

What changed in the 2025 and 2026 releases?

2025: “Sacrifice”

Riot’s 2025 anniversary article identifies G.E.M. as the performer of “Sacrifice.” It directs audiences to the League of Legends YouTube channel for the anthem and video and to music-listening services for the track. Search the title, year and performer together when several songs named “Sacrifice” appear. If a result omits the Worlds context, compare its artist and release details with the official channel before saving it.

2026: “Know My Name”

Riot’s announcement published September 29, 2026 identifies “Know My Name” by True Damage as the 13th Worlds anthem and says it was released across major streaming platforms with the official video. The announcement also describes it as the first Worlds anthem performed by one of Riot’s virtual artists. The release had been announced for October 8, 2026, Pacific Daylight Time; availability can therefore appear on different calendar dates in other time zones or services. If you searched before that release window, an absent result would not indicate a missing anthem.

2024: “Heavy Is The Crown”

Riot’s official 2024 media page labels “Heavy Is The Crown” featuring Linkin Park as the official anthem and music video. Include the artist name when searching because the phrase can return unrelated songs and videos. Keep any ceremony performance in a separate playlist so it is not mistaken for the official upload.

A practical listening workflow for the whole catalogue

Build a year-by-year queue

  1. Start with the table and copy one search phrase at a time.
  2. Find and verify the official video on the League of Legends YouTube channel.
  3. Save the verified video in a private playlist or browser bookmark, keeping the year in your note.
  4. Repeat the title search on your licensed audio service and save the official audio release separately.
  5. Record the date you checked. Videos, catalogue entries and regional rights can change, and a saved playlist may later point to an unavailable track.
  6. Mark missing entries as “unavailable here” rather than deleting them. That preserves the chronology and makes it easy to retry on another service.

Keeping video and audio lists separate avoids a common mistake: assuming that a video upload, a streaming-album entry and a ceremony performance are interchangeable. They may use the same composition while having different credits, edits or availability. A simple naming convention such as 2018 — RISE — video verified and 2018 — RISE — audio verified makes a long playlist easier to audit.

Physical media: what the vinyl collection includes

The iam8bit Japan & Asia official store lists League of Legends Worlds Anthems Vol. 1: 2014–2023 as a vinyl LP. It is a physical option for collectors, but its stated coverage ends at 2023. It therefore does not contain the 2024, 2025 or 2026 titles in the complete list above.

If you look for a copy through a retailer or resale marketplace, search the full phrase “League of Legends Worlds Anthems vinyl” and check the current edition, seller, shipping region, total price and stock at checkout. Inventory, delivery coverage and prices are changeable; no active listing, price or stock level is established here. Factor in shipping, taxes and possible import charges rather than comparing sticker prices alone. A vinyl purchase is an archival or collectible choice, not a substitute for checking the current digital release of each anthem.

Before ordering, confirm that the listing says Vol. 1 and 2014–2023. A marketplace title that only says “Worlds anthem vinyl” may describe a different edition, an individual record or an unofficial product. Keep the receipt and edition information if you are collecting chronologically, since later releases would not automatically be included in this volume.

Rights, sharing and playback pitfalls

Do not treat a search result as proof of ownership

Official branding helps identify the source, but it does not grant permission to download, re-upload or use the music in another project. Use the playback, download and sharing controls supplied by the licensed service or video platform. If you need music for a stream, event, video or commercial project, consult the applicable rights holder and licence terms rather than extracting audio from a video.

Special offer. See more information about Outbyte and uninstall instructions. Please review EULA and Privacy policy.

Expect catalogue and link changes

  • A video can be region-blocked, made private or replaced by a corrected upload.
  • A streaming track can disappear temporarily when licensing terms change.
  • A playlist can retain a greyed-out entry after a service loses local rights.
  • A physical release can sell out even when the songs remain available digitally.
  • A search result can rank a fan upload above the official channel, especially for short titles.

When one route fails, use the same exact title and year on the other official route. This preserves the distinction between a temporary platform problem and a song that was never part of the Worlds anthem series. Do not bypass a regional block with an unauthorized copy or repost; wait for a licensed route or use the official video where it is legally viewable.

Common search mistakes

  • Searching only a generic title: “Phoenix,” “Ignite” and “Sacrifice” return many unrelated songs. Add Worlds, the year and the credited performer when known.
  • Assuming the first result is canonical: sort by channel identity and description, not thumbnail popularity.
  • Combining versions accidentally: a lyric video, instrumental and live performance can all appear under one title. Label each separately.
  • Ignoring punctuation: try both curly and straight apostrophes for “STAR WALKIN’” if search indexing differs.
  • Using unlicensed downloads: offline playback is legitimate only through the platform’s own feature and applicable terms.
  • Forgetting the territory: a friend’s link may work in one country while showing an unavailable message in another.

Quick verification checklist

  • Does the title match one of the 2014–2026 entries exactly?
  • Does the result identify League of Legends, Worlds or an official Riot channel?
  • Is it the original video or an explicitly labelled lyric, remix, cover or live performance?
  • For audio, is the service licensed in your country and is the artist or album information consistent?
  • For “Know My Name,” does the listing identify True Damage and the 2026 Worlds release?
  • For “Sacrifice,” does the listing identify G.E.M. and the 2025 Worlds release?
  • For “Heavy Is The Crown,” does the listing identify Linkin Park and the 2024 official anthem?
  • If buying vinyl, does the product description say Vol. 1 and 2014–2023?
  • Have you recorded whether the video and audio were both available on the date you checked?

What the 13-anthem sequence tells you

The sequence runs from “Warriors” in 2014 through “Know My Name” in 2026. Riot’s 2020 description says the anthem had been released annually since 2014; that wording describes the series as it existed at that time, rather than promising that future releases or platform partnerships will follow the same schedule. Riot’s 2026 announcement supplies the current count of 13.

The title list is useful for navigation, not a claim that every recording is available on every service. The official-video route is centralized on the League of Legends YouTube channel, while audio playback depends on licensing, release metadata and territory. Keeping those facts separate is the safest way to locate the right version without mistaking a fan upload or a ceremony recording for the canonical release.

Frequently Asked Questions

Why can I find a Worlds anthem video but not the audio track in my music app?

Video publishing and music-streaming rights are separate. A track can remain on the official League of Legends YouTube channel while a licensed audio service has a temporary or territory-specific catalogue gap. Try another licensed service available in your country and check the title and year again.

Special offer. See more information about Outbyte and uninstall instructions. Please review EULA and Privacy policy.

Does the Worlds Anthems vinyl include every song in the list?

No. The listed Vol. 1 LP covers 2014–2023, so it predates the 2024, 2025 and 2026 entries.

Is an opening-ceremony performance the official music video?

No. A ceremony recording is a live performance. Verify the original animated or narrative video separately on the League of Legends YouTube channel.

How many official Worlds anthems are in this guide?

There are 13 entries, one for each year from 2014 through 2026. Riot’s 2026 announcement calls “Know My Name” the 13th Worlds anthem.

Is Spotify still the exclusive Worlds music service?

Riot described Spotify as the official audio and music streaming partner for global events in a 2020 announcement. That is a historical partnership statement, not a current guarantee of exclusivity or universal availability.

Special offer. See more information about Outbyte and uninstall instructions. Please review EULA and Privacy policy.

Can I download an anthem for offline listening?

Use only the download or offline function provided by a licensed music service, and only when your subscription and local rights allow it. Do not extract audio from an official video.

Why does a search show several videos with the same title?

The results may include the official music video, lyric or alternate visuals, a live ceremony performance, a remix, a cover or a fan compilation. Check the channel identity, description and labels before saving the result.

What should I do if the 2026 anthem is not visible yet?

Check the announced release timing. “Know My Name” was announced for October 8, 2026, Pacific Daylight Time, so another time zone or a service’s release window may show it on a different calendar date. Start with the League of Legends YouTube channel and a licensed music service.

Is there a verified price for the Worlds Anthems vinyl?

No fixed price, stock level or shipping total is established here. Check the current retailer or resale listing, edition, seller, delivery region, taxes and total at checkout.

The Bottom Line

Use the year-and-title table as your map, the League of Legends YouTube channel for official videos, and a licensed music service for audio. Verify artist and channel details, keep live performances and remixes separate, and remember that regional rights and vinyl inventory can change.
