Will your heroes, progress, and rewards be lost?
The official Steam FAQ states that transferring an account retains “all game progress and game data.” It specifically names unclaimed rewards, event items, and any ongoing Epic Pass progress as retained data. That means the transfer is intended to preserve the state of the existing account rather than start it over on Steam.

The notice does not enumerate every individual account field, so do not expand that statement into an unsupported promise about a particular setting, transaction, or account attribute. If a specific item is important to you and does not appear after the transfer, use Epic Seven’s in-game Customer Service rather than creating another account or attempting a second setup.
Where the same account can be used after transfer
The Steam notice says that, even after transferring, you can continue logging in with the same account on the STOVE PC client and the mobile version. Steam therefore becomes an additional way to access the established account, not a replacement that prevents phone access.

- Decide whether Steam is still unused for Epic Seven: if you have not launched the game on Steam, use the official transfer instructions for your existing account.

- Confirm that your account is eligible. The official FAQ identifies existing email accounts and existing Simple Login (SNS) accounts as eligible for transfer to Simple Login (Steam).
- Follow the account-transfer screens exactly as displayed. Read each confirmation carefully and make sure the established account—not an accidentally created Steam profile—is the account being transferred.

If you already created a new Steam account

The official guidance does not tell you to merge that account with your mobile account. Instead, it says to contact in-game Customer Service and request deletion of the newly created Steam account, then transfer the existing account.
- Stop progressing on the new Steam profile. Continuing to play can make it harder to identify which account should be retained.
- Open Epic Seven’s in-game Customer Service. Explain that Steam created a new account and that you need the new Steam account deleted so your established email or SNS account can be transferred.
- Follow the support team’s directions. Deletion is consequential. Do not assume that removing the game, uninstalling Steam, or signing out deletes the account.
- Wait for the support-directed resolution before transferring. The official sequence places deletion of the newly created Steam account before transfer of the existing account.

Switching between Steam, mobile, and STOVE PC
After a successful transfer, you do not need separate game progress for each client. The official notice says the same account can still be used on mobile and the STOVE PC client after transfer to Steam. In other words, changing devices changes where you sign in, not which established Epic Seven account you own.

The retention statement covers the existing account’s game progress and data. It does not promise that every client will display identical menus, layouts, schedules, or platform-specific notices. Those presentation differences are separate from the account’s saved progress.
Worlds and cross-play: what Steam access includes
The Steam notice describes access to both existing and new worlds and says Steam supports cross-play across Steam, the STOVE PC client, and mobile. This means players are not restricted to a Steam-only population simply because they use the Steam client.
There is an important qualification for a new world: the notice says that some content or schedules may differ there. Treat “new world” as a game-world choice with its own availability conditions, not as a second copy of your account that can be merged later. Before selecting a world, read the in-game information shown for that world and consider where your established progress is located.

Troubleshooting common transfer problems
The Steam version starts with a beginner account
This usually indicates that Steam is currently using a newly created Epic Seven account rather than the established email or SNS account. Do not continue building the beginner profile if your goal is to use mobile progress. Follow the official instruction to contact in-game Customer Service and request deletion of the newly created Steam account before transferring the existing account.
Your mobile progress is not visible on Steam
First check the account identity, not the game installation. A fresh profile can look like missing data when the client is simply signed into a different account. If you cannot establish which login is active, stop switching accounts repeatedly and ask Customer Service for help. The official FAQ says the transfer retains progress and data, so an apparent blank profile should be investigated as an account-selection problem before assuming data loss.
