When the right account is active, your Ultimate Team Club and Squad should load. You usually do not need to link anything from inside the app.
Link the account the right way
- Find the EA Account you use for FC. If you are unsure which email or account is tied to your console or PC, check the account you use to play before creating another EA Account. If you cannot sign in, use EA account recovery.
- Install the official FC Companion App from the iOS App Store or Google Play.
- Sign in with that EA Account. Do not use a different EA login just because it is currently saved on your phone.
- Check what loads. EA says you are logged in when your Ultimate Team Club and Squad appear. If they do, the app is using the expected account. See EA’s FC 27 Web and Companion Apps guide.
In ordinary use, “linking” means signing in to the EA Account that is already connected to your gaming platform. If you need to inspect or connect a platform account, sign in to EA Account settings and open Connected Accounts. EA notes that a connected Nintendo Account will not appear in that tab. If the wrong club appears or the app cannot sign in
You signed in to the wrong EA Account
Sign out of the app and try the EA Account used with the platform account where you play FC. If you do not know its email or have lost access, recover that existing account rather than linking a new one. A new login will not automatically bring over the club attached to another EA Account.

The platform account is connected elsewhere
In EA Account settings, review Connected Accounts to see which platform account is associated with the EA Account. EA generally allows only one EA Account to be connected to a platform at a time, and some platforms allow a platform account to be linked only once. EA also says switching a platform account may be unavailable if it was linked less than one year ago. Check EA’s linking troubleshooting guidance before attempting a change.

You are locked out or get an account error
EA recommends recovering the account, resetting its password, and using a two-factor authentication code if prompted. After signing in, restart the platform and launch FC again. If the problem continues, contact EA Help.
Do not unlink as a first troubleshooting step
Unlinking the platform account you actively use for FC can remove access to the Web and Companion Apps if that account is active in them at the time. Having another platform account attached may allow you to switch which account is active, but EA says that does not eliminate the risk. If keeping app access matters, do not unlink without first reviewing EA’s unlinking warnings.

App login and Transfer Market access are different
Seeing your club in the app confirms a successful login; it does not guarantee access to the Transfer Market. EA treats market access as a separate eligibility decision. For FC 27, EA says returning players may qualify based on prior access by its stated cutoff dates and an account in good standing. Other players may need to meet active-play requirements.
EA’s FC 27 guidance describes a typical wait of two active days if no other Ultimate Team accounts have been used on the device, or at least four active days if other accounts have been used; additional accounts can extend the wait. EA defines an active day as playing three full Ultimate Team matches and logging in to the Web or Companion App within the same UTC calendar day. FC 27 availability dates and requirements
These dates apply to the 2026–27 season and can change in future editions. EA says the FC 27 Web App went online September 16, 2026, and the Companion App on September 17, 2026. From September 17, the apps are for FC 27 only. After November 7, 2026, at 11:59:50 PM UTC, EA says you must log in to FC 27 Ultimate Team on PC or console at least once to keep using the apps.
EA’s early-access eligibility also depends on having created an Ultimate Team Club in FC 26, FC 25, or FC 24 on the platform before August 1, 2026, and having an account in good standing. Consult EA’s current app guide for season-specific details.
