After linking, open an eligible channel, choose Subscribe, and apply the available Prime subscription. The subscription covers one month and does not renew automatically on that channel.
Link your Amazon and Twitch accounts
- Sign in to the Twitch account you want to connect.
- Open Twitch’s Prime Member Perks page and select Connect. Alternatively, open a channel’s Support Panel, select Sign Up, then Connect.
- Sign in to Amazon using the account that has the active Prime membership, then follow the prompts to finish linking.
- Return to Twitch. If the Prime option is not visible on a channel page, refresh the page.
Twitch says Amazon account information is not publicly displayed, though Twitch may use profile information such as the Amazon account name. Only one Amazon account can be linked to a Twitch account at a time; disconnect the existing account before connecting a different one.

Claim the monthly Prime channel subscription
- Visit an eligible channel and select Subscribe.
- Choose the available Prime subscription option and apply it to that channel.
This is a monthly token, not an automatically renewing subscription to the same channel. If you want to support that channel again the following month, return and redeem the benefit again. The option applies to eligible channels; it will not necessarily appear on every channel.

Amazon describes Prime Gaming as included with Amazon Prime and Prime Video. Depending on the country and current offers, benefits can include a channel subscription, exclusive emotes, expanded chat colors, a Prime badge, and game or in-game content. The benefit names and gaming interface can vary by region, so use the label shown on your Amazon and Twitch accounts.

Game and in-game offers are a separate claim process from the Twitch channel subscription. Amazon’s guide directs users to gaming.amazon.com to browse eligible offers and select Claim. Offer instructions differ: some provide a code for another storefront, some require linking a game or launcher account, and some PC games require the Amazon Games app. None of those steps is needed to redeem the channel subscription.
If you cannot link or use the subscription
- Check the Amazon account: confirm you signed in with the account that actually has active Prime.
- Refresh Twitch: a channel page may need to be refreshed before the Prime subscription option appears.
- Try browser fixes: clear cache and cookies, try another browser or a private window, and disable extensions that may interfere.
- Check region and trial eligibility: availability and trial rules differ. Twitch says some trial users, including Prime Student members in some regions, may receive one Twitch subscription during a no-cost trial. This is a one-time benefit, and using it previously can affect eligibility for a later trial.
- Contact Amazon for membership or billing issues: Twitch directs account, membership-status, and billing problems to Amazon Customer Support.
Unlinking is not the same as canceling Prime
Disconnecting Amazon from Twitch removes access to Twitch Prime benefits. It does not cancel the Amazon Prime membership; handle Prime membership or billing changes through Amazon.
