You can keep a yoga breathing feed available on YouTube around the clock by streaming with an encoder over Airtel broadband, monitoring the connection, and planning deliberate restarts. Do not rely on one encoder session to run forever: YouTube says broadcasts longer than 12 hours may not be captured as an archive, and neither Airtel’s advertised plan speed nor an unlimited-data label guarantees uninterrupted upstream service. Test your actual upload connection, keep a local recording, and use shorter sessions if replays matter.
What you need for a continuous yoga breathing feed
This setup is for a fixed, produced feed—such as a recording of breathing guidance, a visual loop, or a live-produced program—not a promise that a single broadcast session will never fail. Use YouTube Live with an encoder, a reliable connection at the streaming computer, and a plan for monitoring and restarting. - A YouTube channel that is verified and not restricted from live streaming in the preceding 90 days.
- An encoder configured with YouTube’s live server URL and the stream key for the broadcast.
- Airtel service at the actual streaming location, with repeatable upload capacity sufficient for the selected bitrate.
- A local recording and an operator or process to monitor stream health and audio/video.
- Rights to every visual and audio element in the feed.
YouTube describes the stream key as functioning like the stream’s password and address. Keep it private; if it is exposed, reset it in YouTube Studio and update the encoder. Do not share screenshots or configuration files that reveal it.

- Check channel eligibility. Verify the YouTube channel and confirm it has no live-streaming restriction in the previous 90 days. If live streaming is not enabled, resolve the channel requirement before building the 24/7 workflow.
- Create the live stream in YouTube Studio. Choose the appropriate live-stream setup for an encoder, then copy the server URL and stream key shown for the stream. Keep the key in the encoder’s secure stream settings rather than in public notes or messages.
- Measure Airtel upload performance from the streaming location. Run upload tests on the computer and connection you will actually use, preferably over Ethernet where practical. Repeat at the times the channel will operate. Do not use the plan’s advertised download speed as a substitute for upstream testing.
- Choose a conservative video bitrate. YouTube’s encoder settings table recommends 6 Mbps for 1080p at 30 fps; that is a guide for that resolution and frame rate, not a guarantee that every Airtel line can sustain it. Select resolution and bitrate from YouTube’s current settings table and leave practical headroom below repeatable upload capacity, especially when the scene has movement or the connection varies.
- Configure the encoder. Follow YouTube’s published recommendations: H.264 video, constant bitrate (CBR), a two-second keyframe interval (not more than four seconds), and RTMPS where available. Set audio and video to match the production and selected output quality.
- Run a private or unlisted test with the real content. Add the YouTube server URL and key, start the encoder, inspect the YouTube preview and watch page, and check that breathing audio is clear and synchronized with the visuals. Test the actual motion and audio planned for the public feed, not just a static desktop.
- Confirm local recording and stream health. Start a local recording and verify that its file is growing. Check YouTube’s stream-health status and watch the feed from a separate device or browser. YouTube’s encoder troubleshooting and stream-testing guidance recommends checking the archive, player, audio/video, and backup behavior.
- Publish only after the test passes. Start the public broadcast only when the preview, watch page, audio, recording, and connection are behaving as expected.
Run it as a 24/7 channel, not one endless session
YouTube says streams under 12 hours can be automatically archived and that streams exceeding 12 hours may not be captured at all. If a replay matters, schedule sessions shorter than 12 hours, keep a local recording, and plan each handoff. A shorter session does not guarantee seamless viewing during a restart, so make the transition intentional: prepare the next encoder session, confirm the new feed is healthy, and then end the previous one.

- Choose a session length comfortably below 12 hours and set reminders or an operating schedule for the restart.
- Before ending a session, prepare the next live event or session and confirm its stream key and encoder settings.
- Start the next feed and verify its preview, audio/video, and watch page before treating the handoff as complete.
- Retain local recordings of the segments you need. Do not treat YouTube’s automatic archive as the only copy.
For additional resilience against encoder failure, YouTube recommends preparing and testing a backup encoder. Test it by stopping the primary encoder or disconnecting its Ethernet cable and confirming whether the player rolls over to the backup. A second encoder can address a failure of the primary encoding computer or software; it cannot repair an Airtel broadband outage.
What Airtel broadband does—and does not—guarantee
Airtel’s India Xstream Fiber plans page advertises speeds up to 1 Gbps and unlimited data, but that advertised figure is not a promise of upload speed, latency, or continuous availability on a particular line. Airtel’s published Xstream Fiber terms state that a Fair Usage Policy applies and that after 3333 GB in a billing cycle, speed may be reduced; Airtel also reserves the ability to amend the policy. These are published India service details checked on 2026-10-03, so confirm current availability and terms for your address before relying on them. Ask whether Xstream Fiber is available at the actual address and confirm the plan details that apply there. Airtel’s public plan information does not establish a sustained upload rate or uptime for an individual connection. Measure your installed service at the intended bitrate and during the hours the stream will run. Fiber and AirFiber are different access services; do not infer AirFiber performance from Xstream Fiber plan information.

If public availability is mission-critical, ask Airtel about support options and consider a genuinely independent backup connection. A backup on the same access network may share the same failure risk; no specific Airtel uptime figure or backup-program guarantee is established here.

Protect the stream from power, network, and content failures
Power continuity
If short local power interruptions are a concern, a UPS battery backup for router and streaming PC may help. Size it from the actual equipment load and runtime you need; no particular model or runtime is established here. A UPS does not protect against a broadband outage or a YouTube-side failure.
Network and encoder monitoring
- Monitor YouTube stream health and listen to the broadcast output, rather than assuming an unlimited-data plan means a healthy live stream.
- Use a wired connection if the setup supports it, and investigate repeatable upload drops, packet loss, or instability before raising the bitrate.
- Keep the encoder and backup procedure documented without exposing the stream key.
- Check that the local recording continues to grow, particularly during long operating periods.
Copyright, reused content, and channel rules
YouTube’s live-stream terms require you to have the necessary rights for the content, including music licensing rights, and to follow its Community Guidelines and applicable law. Use original breathing guidance and visuals, or material licensed for this use. A track being available online or included in a purchased file does not by itself establish that you may broadcast it continuously. Review YouTube’s Terms of Service and the applicable channel policies before streaming. YouTube’s rules and monetization decisions are separate from whether the encoder works; do not assume that looping a recording qualifies for monetization.
