A PC with a component at the minimum level is not assured of reaching the listed frame rate or quality setting in every configuration. Ubisoft does not provide a hardware compatibility checker in the cited announcement. The requirements alone also cannot establish whether a particular replacement part will fit or work with your motherboard, power supply, case, and other components.

Who can join, and when does the test run?
The current Pioneer Playtest is described as open to North America and supported European countries, with servers for both regions. Ubisoft lists English, French, German, and Spanish localization. Check the current official announcement to verify whether your country is included; the 2025 Closed Alpha’s North America-only eligibility does not describe this test.
The test is scheduled to open October 7, 2026, at 10 a.m. EDT and run through October 18. As of October 3, 2026, it has not started. Ubisoft says there is no NDA or watermark, and participants may stream, record, and share gameplay.
Announced Pioneer Points reward
Ubisoft says completing PvP matches earns Pioneer Points. Its announced reward condition is that 1,000 points grants Pioneer status and rewards, including a permanent unlock of the new Giant Pandemos when he arrives on October 12. These are the announced terms, not a guarantee of access or a reward for every applicant.
