How to Join a Fortnite Reload Zero Build Tournament Session in NA Central (NAC)

Open Fortnite, select Compete, and choose the current Reload Zero Build event whose region is North America-Central (NAC). Open its session tile, verify the date, start time, round, format, and eligibility, then queue through that tile while the session is live. The event tile and its Competition-Specific Rules are authoritative because schedules and requirements can change.

What “NA Central” means in Fortnite

NA Central, shown by Epic as NAC or North America-Central, is a matchmaking region. It is not simply another way to write a time zone. Fortnite lists NAC separately from North America-West (NAW), Europe (EU), Asia (ASIA), Brazil (BR), Middle East (ME), and Oceania (OCE). You must select the NAC instance of the tournament, not merely convert the start time to Central Time.

Epic’s official rules identify seven current matchmaking regions. A tournament can publish a separate session, leaderboard, or advancement quota for each region, so joining an event tile for NAW or another region will not place you in the NAC competition.

Check these things before the session opens

Have the following information ready before you attempt to queue:

  • 3-Way Trigger Locks – Set the travel distance of the triggers with three different positions to pull off quicker actions in your favorite FPS games or go full throttle in a high-end race car
  • The exact event name and whether it is a Cash Cup, Ranked Cup, or another Reload competition.
  • The game mode: Reload and Zero Build, rather than a standard Battle Royale or a build-enabled variant.
  • The team format: solo or duos.
  • The event tile’s listed region: NAC / North America-Central.
  • The current session date, start time, round number, and closing time.
  • The event-specific rank, account-level, age, and other eligibility conditions.
  • Your teammate’s eligibility if the listing uses duos.

Do not rely on an old calendar post or a remembered start time. Epic states that all final session dates and times are listed in-game, and sessions may be rescheduled.

How to find and join the NAC Reload Zero Build session

1. Open Fortnite and enter Compete

Launch Fortnite on your platform and open the Compete tab from the main navigation. The Compete area contains the official event tiles available to your account. If you do not see a Reload listing, check that the game has finished updating and that you are signed into the Epic Account you intend to use.

2. Identify the correct Reload event

Read the full title on each tile. Look for the words Reload and Zero Build, then distinguish the event type. A Solo Reload Ranked Cup and a Zero Build Reload Cash Cup can appear similar while using different team sizes, thresholds, rounds, and scoring. Never assume that a requirement shown for one listing applies to another.

3. Select the North America-Central instance

Open the event details and choose the session marked NAC or North America-Central. The region label identifies the matchmaking and leaderboard region. It does not tell you when to play; use the date and time shown on the same tile for that.

4. Read the live session tile

Confirm the tile’s session number, round, start time, end time, and any countdown. Check whether the tile says that the session is open, upcoming, or closed. The official schedule attachment states, “All final times and dates for the Event Sessions are listed in-game.” Treat the currently displayed tile as the final schedule, including when an earlier announcement gives a different date.

5. Open the Competition-Specific Rules

Use the event tile’s rules link or details panel before queueing. Read the sections covering eligibility, team format, scoring, match limits, advancement, and disconnections. The Competition-Specific Rules control that event; Epic’s general Competitive Master Rules provide the framework but do not replace event-specific conditions.

6. Verify every player’s eligibility

For a duos event, check both accounts separately. In the Chapter 7 Season 4 Fortnite Zero Build Reload Cash Cup rules, each duo member must have reached Platinum Rank or higher in Reload Ranked Mode in that player’s server region by the session start. The same ruleset is not automatically applicable to a Ranked Cup, a solo event, or a later season.

Special offer. See more information about Outbyte and uninstall instructions. Please review EULA and Privacy policy.

Epic’s general Master Rules set an Epic Account level of 350 for Cash Cups. Apply that number only after confirming that the selected listing is a Cash Cup and that the current rules still use it. An account that satisfies a rank condition but fails the applicable account-level condition cannot enter that Cash Cup.

7. Form the team and prepare before the start

For a duos tile, invite the intended teammate and confirm that both players are in the same event-ready party. Each player should verify their own Reload Ranked rank, server-region status, and account level. Complete this check before the countdown reaches the start time; the cited Cash Cup requires the threshold by session start, not after the first game.

8. Accept the rules and queue from the event tile

When the session is open, use the tile’s queue or play control rather than a normal public-match playlist. Accept any displayed rules acknowledgement and start matchmaking. Epic’s rules state that joining a session or match constitutes agreement to the applicable event rules and Master Rules. If the button is disabled, recheck the tile’s status, region, team size, and eligibility instead of repeatedly pressing it.

How to compare several Reload listings

When more than one Reload Zero Build event is visible, compare the entries using the same fields. This prevents a player from entering a similarly named event with the wrong rules.

Field What to verify Why it changes your entry
Event type Cash Cup, Ranked Cup, or another event Eligibility, scoring, and account-level rules can differ.
Mode Reload and Zero Build A standard Battle Royale or build-enabled listing is a different competition.
Team format Solo or duos A duo requires every teammate to satisfy the event conditions.
Region NAC / North America-Central It determines the matchmaking and regional leaderboard instance.
Session and round Session number, Round 1 or Round 2, opening and closing times You can queue only during that session window and may need to qualify for a later round.
Rank requirement The exact mode and minimum rank stated in the tile’s rules Requirements are event-specific; a Cash Cup threshold cannot be carried to another event.
Account level Any minimum Epic Account level The general Cash Cup rule lists level 350, but the selected event’s rules control.
Match limit Maximum matches in the round It affects how many scoring opportunities remain in the session.

Eligibility details for the cited Zero Build Reload Cash Cup

The most specific published example is the Chapter 7 Season 4 Fortnite Zero Build Reload Cash Cup. Its rules describe a Duos event using Zero Build Reload settings. They require every eligible duo player to have reached Platinum Rank or higher in Reload Ranked Mode in that player’s server region by the session start.

  • Dual Rumble Motors – Take your gaming experience to the next level, providing tactile feedback and sensations that bring your virtual worlds to life
  • Immersive Impulse Triggers – Provides reactive rumble sensations using built-in motors so you can feel the action of the game*

The general Competitive Master Rules list an Epic Account minimum level of 350 for Cash Cups. Treat this as a Cash Cup condition, not a universal Fortnite tournament level. A different Reload event may use another level, no account-level threshold, a different rank, or a different qualifying mode.

Age and consent rules also apply. Players under 18, or under the age of majority in their country when that age is higher, need permission from a parent or guardian. The guardian must agree on the minor’s behalf where the rules require it. Read the current event and Master Rules for the exact consent process presented to your account.

What the cited Cash Cup rounds allow

Round 1

For the Chapter 7 Season 4 event, a Round 1 session lasts approximately three hours and allows a maximum of 12 matches. A match counts only when it begins before the session window closes. The timing rule means you should not start a final queue at the last possible second if matchmaking could delay the match’s start beyond the closing time.

Special offer. See more information about Outbyte and uninstall instructions. Please review EULA and Privacy policy.

Advancement from Round 1

The top 20 point-earning teams in each region advance to Round 2. The quota is regional, so NAC teams are compared within the NAC competition rather than against every server region combined. The event’s scoring rules determine how points are earned; the entry instructions alone do not establish a qualification score.

Round 2

Round 2 lasts approximately three hours and allows up to six matches under the cited rules. These limits and the advancement number belong to that Cash Cup format. Recheck the live rules if you are entering a different season, a Ranked Cup, or another Reload tournament.

Scheduling and time-zone mistakes to avoid

The NAC label is a region, not a promise that the event begins at a particular local clock time. Convert the in-game time to your location only after recording the date and time displayed by Fortnite. Check the tile again immediately before the session because Epic can reschedule events.

An official event listing showed a Solo Reload Ranked Cup (Zero Build) with an NAC Session 2, Round 1 scheduled for October 13, 2026. That date is a time-sensitive example of how an NAC session may be presented, not a standing schedule for every Reload tournament. Use the current Compete tile for your event instead of treating that listing as a recurring date.

Why the queue button may not work

The event is missing

Confirm that you are in Compete, that Fortnite is fully updated, and that you are using the intended Epic Account. If the event has ended or has not opened in your region, it may no longer appear as joinable. A private or community tournament will not necessarily use the official Compete workflow described here.

The tile is visible but locked

Read the lock message and the event rules. Common causes include the wrong team size, an unmet rank threshold, an insufficient account level for a Cash Cup, or a session that has not started. For a duo, check both accounts; one ineligible teammate can prevent the team from entering.

You selected the wrong region

Back out to the event’s region or session selector and choose NAC / North America-Central. Do not try to fix a region mismatch by changing a time-zone setting. Region selection belongs to the event listing and matchmaking configuration.

The session closed while you were waiting

A match counts in the cited Cash Cup only if it begins before the session window closes. If the session has ended, the tile may stop accepting new queues even if the event remains visible. Wait for the next listed session or round rather than attempting to enter through a normal playlist.

The displayed time differs from an announcement

Use the in-game tile. Epic’s published rule language makes the in-game schedule authoritative for final session dates and times, and event schedules can change.

Duos preparation that protects your entry

Before the start countdown, both players should be in the same party, know the selected NAC session, and have opened the same event rules. Confirm the exact event title aloud or in party chat so nobody queues into a Ranked Cup while the other expects a Cash Cup. Each player should verify their own Platinum-or-higher Reload Ranked status when that condition appears in the rules; sharing one eligible account does not satisfy a duo requirement for both players.

Keep the party together until the event tile accepts the queue. Leaving the party, changing playlists, or switching to another event during the countdown can create a team-size or event-selection mismatch. If a teammate disconnects before queueing, return to the tile and confirm whether the event still requires two eligible players rather than assuming a solo substitute is allowed.

Rules you accept by entering

Joining a session or match is not merely a practice queue. Epic states that participation constitutes agreement to the event rules and the Competitive Master Rules that apply to it. Those documents govern eligibility, conduct, scoring, advancement, and other competition conditions. Read any updated rules notice shown on the tile before selecting the acknowledgement.

Special offer. See more information about Outbyte and uninstall instructions. Please review EULA and Privacy policy.

For minors, obtain the required parent or guardian permission before entering. The age rule can depend on the higher age of majority in the player’s country, so do not assume that turning 18 is the only relevant test in every jurisdiction.

Official event versus private tournament

These instructions apply to official Epic-hosted competitions surfaced in Fortnite’s Compete area. A community-organized or private tournament may distribute a custom code, use a third-party registration page, or set its own region and eligibility process. The official Cash Cup rank, account-level, round, and match-limit rules should not be applied to a private event unless that organizer expressly adopts them.

Quick entry checklist

  1. Open Fortnite and select Compete.
  2. Find the listing that explicitly says Reload and Zero Build.
  3. Identify whether it is a Cash Cup, Ranked Cup, or another event.
  4. Select the session marked NAC / North America-Central.
  5. Record the current date, start time, round, and closing time from the live tile.
  6. Open Competition-Specific Rules and verify the team format and requirements.
  7. For the cited Cash Cup, confirm Platinum-or-higher Reload Ranked status for every duo player and check the general Cash Cup account-level requirement of 350.
  8. Make sure any required parent or guardian permission is complete.
  9. Form the correct solo or duo party before the session starts.
  10. Accept the applicable rules and queue through the event tile while it is open.

What to verify after you qualify or advance

If the event uses multiple rounds, check the Compete area again for the next round’s NAC tile and schedule. The cited Cash Cup advances the top 20 point-earning teams in each region from Round 1 to Round 2, but advancement and timing are tied to that event’s rules. Do not assume that a strong result in one Reload tournament automatically grants access to another listing.

For every later round, repeat the same process: confirm the event title, region, session, team format, current rules, and opening window. Schedules may change between rounds, so an earlier screenshot or calendar reminder is not a substitute for the live in-game listing.
