To get the Raiden Shogun sword in Lineage Piece, activate Archon, find the Raiden Seller on Frostborn Island, obtain a Shrine Key, and farm the Plane of Euthymia raid for the materials and currency the seller requires. Buying the weapon does not complete its mastery: that is a separate route through the Raiden Mastery NPC, and published mastery requirements disagree. Treat the current in-game seller and NPC displays as authoritative.
Unlock Raiden in this order
- Activate Archon. Third-party guides report that Archon is required to buy Raiden, and one says to keep it active during the process. The guides also associate Archon with mastery; check the live NPC if your game shows different conditions. NerdsChalk and Lineage Piece Site both list it as a prerequisite.
- Find the Raiden Seller on Frostborn Island. NerdsChalk places the seller to the left of spawn, down a snowy cliff ledge; it places the separate Raiden Mastery NPC at the back of Frostborn. AwesWikis also lists Frostborn as the weapon’s location. NPC positions can change, so use the island layout and labels in your current game if they differ. AwesWikis’ Raiden Shogun entry.
- Get a Shrine Key. The reported options are to defeat the Snow Bandit boss on Frostborn or exchange Tower Shards with the Tower Exchange NPC on Monument Isle. Lineage Piece Site reports a 1% Snow Bandit drop chance or an exchange cost of 5 Tower Shards; these are unverified guide figures, not an official drop table. Check the current in-game exchange and boss rewards.
- Use the key to enter the Plane of Euthymia. The guides identify this raid as the source of Raiden’s required materials. NerdsChalk says Raiden appears around wave 10, but that detail is guide-reported and may change. NerdsChalk’s route.
- Farm the seller’s listed materials and currencies. The quantities reported by NerdsChalk are below. Its guide warns that totals have changed between versions, so compare your inventory against the seller’s live list rather than treating the published count as guaranteed current.
- Buy the weapon, then pursue mastery separately. The weapon purchase unlocks Raiden; mastery uses a different NPC and questline. If the current mastery NPC requires raid clears, combining those runs with material farming may save time, but check its displayed objectives first.

Reported raid drops and Shrine Key options
Lineage Piece Site publishes the following Plane of Euthymia drop figures. The publication year is not stated, and the rates have not been confirmed by an official drop table, so use them only as a guide to what the page reports:

The same site reports two Shrine Key routes. The Snow Bandit boss is listed at a 1% key drop chance; the Tower Shop exchange is listed at 5 Tower Shards. These are third-party figures with no stated publication year, not guaranteed current rates or prices. Lineage Piece Site’s key and drop details.
Raiden mastery requirements are not consistent across guides
Do not combine these published lists into one checklist: they conflict on damage totals and raid clears, and only one includes a Solemn Lament objective. The current requirements shown by the Raiden Mastery NPC should determine your plan.

What to trust when a guide and the game differ
The reviewed pages are third-party guides or fan references; no primary official game documentation with current seller, drop-rate, or mastery tables was available. NerdsChalk explicitly notes that material totals have changed between versions. Rates, NPC locations, and objectives may also be patch-sensitive. For a current run, the seller’s live purchase requirements and the mastery NPC’s displayed objectives are the practical source of truth; the published figures above are useful planning references, not a promise that your server’s current version matches them.
