Its reported free route was the Cyberpunk: Edgerunners Cup, held September 19–20, 2026, and that event has ended. The shop offer also expired on September 26, 2026. Epic has not announced a return date or another free claim route in the sources available as of October 7, 2026.
What happened to the free route?
The Cyberpunk: Edgerunners Cup was the limited-time route reported for earning Lucyna Kushinada without paying. Epic’s official competitive listing identifies it as a Trios Battle Royale event running September 19–20, 2026, and says players had a chance to earn Cyberpunk: Edgerunners cosmetic rewards. Since those dates have passed, the cup is no longer an available way to unlock the Outfit. Epic’s event listing confirms the event and dates; games.gg’s guide, published September 18, 2026, reported it as the free route for this Outfit.

Epic’s event listing required participants to be at least 13, or meet the minimum age in their country of residence, and to have multi-factor authentication enabled. The sources do not establish a verifiable regional placement cutoff for earning Lucyna, so a specific rank requirement cannot be stated.

Was Lucyna Kushinada available in the Item Shop?
Yes, as a paid offer. Epic’s listing identifies Lucyna Kushinada as an Outfit, includes the Rebecca Plushie Back Bling in the Cyberpunk Edgerunners Bundle, and shows a price of 1,500 V-Bucks. The offer ended September 26, 2026 at 12:00 AM local time (GMT+00:00), so this is historical pricing and availability—not a current purchase option. The listing does not promise when or whether the offer will return. See Epic’s item listing.

What can you do now?
- Check Fortnite’s in-game Item Shop and Epic’s official channels for any future listing or event announcement. No return date is established.
- Look for legitimate free Fortnite rewards through in-game challenges and free Battle Pass content. Epic notes that many free items are seasonal, so availability can be time-limited. Epic’s free-item guidance describes these routes.
- Secure your account with two-factor authentication. Epic lists account security among ways players may receive free items, but it does not say that enabling it grants this specific Outfit.
- Avoid third-party promises of free skins or V-Bucks. Epic says genuine offers appear in the Epic Games Store or on official Epic websites and social channels, and warns against suspicious external offers.
Can you still get the Outfit for free?
Not through any currently verified route in the cited sources. The tournament has concluded, the shop offer has expired, and Epic has not announced another free claim opportunity or a return date. Treat any claim that guarantees Lucyna outside Epic’s official channels with caution.
