You can earn Fortnite’s Lady Liberty outfit without spending V-Bucks by placing high enough in The Purge’s Lady Liberty Cup. The official solo tournament runs October 17–18, 2026, in Battle Royale and Zero Build. Eligible players who finish within their region’s published cutoff receive the Lady Liberty outfit and the Purge Drone back bling.
What you need to do
The Lady Liberty cosmetic is a competitive-event reward, not a regular free-shop claim. Open Fortnite, find The Purge’s Lady Liberty Cup in the Competitive or Events section, join the scheduled solo session, and earn points from placements and eliminations. Epic verifies the final leaderboard before distributing rewards.

How to enter Lady Liberty Cup
- Open the event listing. In Fortnite, go to the Competitive or Events area and select The Purge’s Lady Liberty Cup.
- Choose the correct session. The cup is listed for October 17 and October 18, 2026. Exact session start times are displayed in-game and can vary by region.
- Confirm account eligibility. Your Epic account must meet the age, account-level, security and conduct requirements below before you queue.
- Play solo matches. The event offers solo Battle Royale and solo Zero Build sessions. Maximize tournament points through survival placement and eliminations.
- Check your regional rank. The Lady Liberty outfit goes to players inside the cutoff for their server region, subject to Epic’s eligibility and verification process.

Epic’s official rules require all of the following, along with regional and device restrictions specified in the rules:

- Your account cannot be cabined and must be in good standing.
- Your account must be level 50 or higher.
- Multi-factor authentication (MFA), also called two-factor authentication (2FA), must be enabled.
- You must compete on an eligible platform and in the session assigned to your region.
Enable MFA before the tournament rather than waiting until after you qualify. Epic can withhold a prize if an account fails eligibility or verification checks.

Lady Liberty placement cutoffs by region
Epic’s Attachment C sets the following outfit thresholds for both Zero Build and Battle Royale. “1st–100th,” for example, means the final leaderboard position must be between first and 100th place in that region.

Reaching eight points awards the Purge Mask emoticon. This is a points milestone, not a leaderboard-placement requirement.

When and how rewards arrive
The event listing covers sessions on October 17 and October 18, 2026. Under Epic’s rules, potential winners are contacted at the email address attached to their Epic account within 60 days of the applicable session. Keep the competing account active and monitor its email during that verification period. Contact does not guarantee delivery until Epic confirms eligibility.

Epic Player Support says, “There are always opportunities for players to grab free items in Fortnite.” Legitimate free items can come from in-game challenges, free Battle Pass content or account-security promotions such as 2FA. Epic warns players not to trust suspicious external offers, screenshots, tickets or “free V-Bucks” claims. Never enter your Epic login details on an unofficial redemption site.

- Check the in-game Competitive or Events tab for the correct date and regional session; the event may not be open outside its scheduled window.
- Verify that your account is level 50 or higher, not cabined and protected with MFA/2FA.
- Confirm that you selected the solo Battle Royale or solo Zero Build version rather than a different playlist.
- Review Epic’s regional, platform and conduct rules before entering. A visible event listing does not override an account restriction.
